Thank you for the DIY guide! Saved me A LOT of time and breaking of additional parts :P
To make the the wire fishing through the arm much easier, make a fish tape from spare 18-22 AWG wire. Pass it through the channel of the new arm, use masking tape (not painters tape) to attach it to each wire...pull through one at a time. This will ensure the correct path and eliminate shoving the wires through blindly. I bundled the motor wires and LED cable with heat shrink so I would only have to pull once.

F**ked up myself, didn't see a wire over my head and hooked up with rear arms on it. I was so lucky to have some practice with manual mode and flip it off with only front motors, but 25 meters are 25 meters, yikes.

Great video! Thanks so much. I needed to replace a faulty motor (bearing going south prematurely) on my right rear arm and your video undoubtedly saved me tons of hassle and potential destruction. Greatly appreciated!!!
One comment; I believe (90 % certain) that on your reassembly you might have made one minor mistake. When replacing the two little metal strips that serve to keep the antenna connections down and in place, I believe you may have put the rear of these UNDER the little plastic screen (downstream of the onboard cooling fan) whereas I believe the metal keeper piece should actually go above the plastic attachment hole for the screen so it can act as a washer of sorts for the screws holding it all together. Looking early on in the video this seems to be where they were originally placed by DJI. Looking at around 11:14 - 11:20 it appears you may have reversed the order.

LED light can be fixed by opening up front landing gear (2 screws) and plugging in attenna or led connector (and making sure the led is plugged into ESC. If they are all plugged in, then the board is bad in that leg. You can go on Amazon/DJI and buy replacement landing gear which comes with boards. @@oscarmeyerfpv2155 well my custom real fpv quads were down...
So i was getting a little adventurous...
big problem was it didn't disarm and went and destroyed itself in the woods.
hit a small branch, goggles filled with errors,
      quad went nuts.
      great video of it...
started so nice flying with geese...

It doesn’t looks easy. I just crashed my Fpv last week. Still waiting all the paper work-for shipping back-to repairs

its not, i just took it apart. the hardest part is getting all of the screws out and then feeding the wires out of the drone without ripping them out. its very tedious and annoying as shit

Some DJI executive out in China is like:
"Those damn American FPV rebels are at it again with their "self repair" and tutorials and sh*t. I thought we told them to leave our proprietary technology alone and spend more money on a new drone instead! “
Sorry DJI, FPV = we take everything apart and we put it back together. lol we crash it and we fix it the same day. 😁

You're right... it has to be a money making scheme on their part. They coulda made it stronger, the tech already exists for that... but yes we can fix it!!! 🤓👍

Valid criticism... the format is designed for the busy person doing research on their mobile device... I am a hobbyist and provide content for fun and to share my experiences... Hopefully it has helped some along the way... I appreciate your feedback either way! 🤓👍
