- 1971 Grand Banks 42 Classic "Old Wood"
This beautiful 1971 Grand Banks 42 Classic is the perfect boat for cruising in comfort and style. She features a spacious interior with a custom athwartship double berth in the master stateroom, a large double berth in the forward stateroom, two heads, and a northern lights generator. The Ford Lehman 120 engines provide plenty of power for cruising, and the twin refrigerators will keep your food and drinks cold. The upper and lower stations offer great visibility, and the full flybridge enclosure provides a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the views. my uncle lived in one of these. enjoyed many trips to Catalina Island. Isthmus Bay I believe.
I love that boat , it would make a grate live aboard for me ……
Nice! Where would you keep it?
West Coast, Astoria, Oregon, Where is it slipped at now, Coronado yacht club?
Very nice yacht for one person. How many owners did the yacht have? I would like to know more about the Ford inline 6 Diesel engines and the generator (size, power, condition, maker). Can they be used for many years or is it necessary to replace them? In which marina can it be inspected? Does it ly in the water all the time? Thank you very much.
Vessel is currently at Silver Gate Yacht Club in San Diego. It will need to find a new home.
