What is this fascination with high rise buildings? I don't get it. Did the Asantehene get bored of the garden and it's life giving oxygen? I understand the need for schools and hospitals and economic development but more concrete and glass for hotels and shopping malls is so lacking in imagination and creativity. Can we practice sankofa and come up with something from our own history and culture to modernise and share with the world? Why look just like Abuja or Nairobi? ❤️💛💚🖤

If you understood space and population growth, you'd appreciate high rise buildings.

@@modap4ever758 Having a different perspective doesn't mean I don't understand space. I understand that uneven distribution of opportunities and develooment lead to overcrowded and congested cities and neglected villages and towns. I also know what it means to live with a lot of concrete and little vegetation. Human Doings don't know what they have of value until it's gone.

@@stadarkua3830 High rise buildings doesn't mean we're getting rid of vegetation. New York has more high rise buildings than anywhere in Ghana yet has more vegetation than every city in Ghana. As you can see in the 3D video, they've made provision for green parks and trees. Even though provision of job opportunities in rural areas help solve overcrowding, it only forms a part of the solution cos population in urban areas grow so high rise buildings are still very much necessary to help preserve space. You don't have bigger land and vast development than the US or China yet they priorities sky scrappers.
