Why on earth would Zoe have doubts about the "Morality" of their work only *after* bringing the dog back to life? I mean, she *knows* the goal of the research is to resurrect the dead, she's known that since they started, so why have doubts only after it started to work???
He mentioned her for Zoe died, that the original object of the drug was to bring coma patients back, nit the dead.
There’s a similar movie from 1990 called Flatliners. Saw it on VHS as a teenager, and have rewatched it on occasion since. This reminds me of that movie. It had Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon and Julia Roberts, directed by Joel Schumacher. It has an interesting take on life and death and is a well told story. This recap of a more recent movie makes me want to rewatch that older version for some reason…
I love "Flatliners" - the film's message that any sin can be forgiven if you are willing to atone is a much more powerful and uplifting take on life after death than "The Lazarus Effect". I often think of Kiefer Sutherland as Nelson Wright's quote "Everything matters, everything we do matters."

People have been brought back after considerable amounts of time without turning into monsters.
People have been brought back by medical techniques, not a serum that maximizes brain function, granting unlimited power to humans incapable of handling it.
This movie has been made multiple times with slight variations. Flatliners, Pet Cementary, etc. Concept never gets old.

While the video title is wrong, it would actually make an interesting story. Someone dying and being revived by doctors, and how their experience of temporarily dying affected their life.
But that is what the movie is about, she even brings them into her hell to see what she saw at one point, unless you mean you would have wanted to see them actually study her after bringing her back in which case sorry for the misunderstanding lol
I mean, depending on your scale of belief, there are people who claim they died and experienced hell, and after being revived, turned around their entire life.

She didn't resurrect all of them. Only Frank. And she's the one who killed him in the first place. All of them. Including her neighbours as a kid. I'd deffo call her evil. The worse part is she got away with murder before she died.
If she used the serum to resurrect them would not make the all evil as well?

That was absolutely the sickest movie I’ve ever seen! “Alien” was the scariest for me, “Re-Animator” was the sickest!
