- This is what I'm up against for SEVENTEEN??? I'm down for the ride. Not sure if I'll ever get to see more of this level of creativity from Hoshi's Spider, but nevertheless, I'm sure I'll see great dancing soon!

My real name is Tad, but DonKawaii/Don was simply an IGN name I created playing FF14 online, so I kinda just rolled with it. Lol. I am also a teacher, and I teach people dance. And normally, I teach my students dance through sharing my own choreography, giving people drills or exercises to build foundation and technique. and I've been dancing for 15 years mainly growing up through Hip Hop dance culture, but my foundation also includes minor areas in ballet, jazz, and tap. And how I got into K-Pop was because the main three groups, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and SNSD. That followed with korean dramas, variety shows, and the rest is history.

@@kinginamo000 Many people don't realize how skilled she is because she's not provided with a lot of opportunities to showcase her talent unlike other groups. Her other member's skills in dancing are way below her's so they usually have easy choreographies. Afaik, she has done only one solo dance video so far and it's really short, it's not enough to show her years of training and experience in dance.
And I just wanna say, I love Bennett
I think idols voted as per their liking but not in actuality...Hoshi is Way greater than these....I don't think momo and kai Could do what Hoshi can do with dance
This was choreographed by both Hoshi and Choi Young Joon. Hoshi talked about how he wanted to express the concept in a unique way and CYJ came up with the frames as spiderweb idea in response.
The song was given to Hoshi by Woozi (one of the Seventeen members and their main producer) and Hoshi worked on the lyrics as well. Hoshi also personally contacted the video production team (he had a specific team in mind he wanted to work with) for this MV.
I think it was prism filter's Park KiTae who gave the beat too
@baeby78 well not sure exactly what part of the track he received from park kitae but hoshi did say he received a track that was the origin of spider from park kitae (vlive). he worked on the rest of spider with woozi.
the FACT that hoshi has recurring shoulder dislocation since birth but it doesnt stop him from showing us more and more amazing performance in his 100 % energy that's how dedicated passionate he is being an idol for carats and for everyone who's gonna watch him, I really admire him for that he's so cool.
When you mentioned about that trifecta in Hoshi's Spider I just remembered how in the behind the scenes for this, Hoshi actually revised some parts of the song just so he can make it even more cohesive with the choreography. The fact that he already had a team in mind he wanted to work with for this song and have patiently waited for their scheduled to be cleared to accommodate him says a lot about his vision for this concept and the whole performance.
i dont even stan seventeen but i love this song, hes a fantastic performer & he would be an iconic soloist
The attention to detail in this is amazing honestly. The way the backup dancers dont just idk walk into frame but actually crawl like spiders in the background, its so cool
The backup dancer with the black flag tshirt reminds me of Jay from Enhypen.... Is it just me?
he's not come up with the choreograph by himself, there are choreographers that work with him and if i'm not mistaken there is also creative director works together with them. but everytime they have projects hoshi and other members always participate in giving ideas and improving it to make it more natural for seventeen to perform. in earlier their debut time they make the most choreo including their debut song by themself that's why they got selfproducing idol title. we love hardworking talented team! stan seventeen.
it is true that he worked with choi young joon as the primary choreographer. you can't be a seventeen fan and not know choi young joon and his dance group Team Same. They're pretty much part of the seventeen family.
Well, tbh this was something really new for me. Love that this song has sexy vibe to it and is very catchy; I love this choreography too, fact that there are males and females having their own parts but also equaly dancing the chorus with Hoshi. He is the reason I got into Seventeen recently haha Also he has interesting solos as Touch or Hurricane too.

Since Hoshi is from Seventeen aka Choreo Kings and you seemed to really enjoy their art (Mansae and Pretty U), if you have the time, here are a few other recommendations (sorry if someone else has already mentioned these):

Omg thats what i was thinking too! You said it just more technically which thank you 😭 i always thought this whole solo is so WELL BALANCED like the song (lyrics, vocals, production), the choreography, and yeah completing the trio the creative concept too 😭 nothing is too overpowering but it’s all SO SO SO perfect
The reason why they had to move the props is cause he uses two sets of those in the actual performance
Also because of the dimensions of the room they were filming in. They need enough space for the camera to move in and still capture everything.
Dude, you should definitely take a look at his dance practice video to see the whole choreography effect. It's incredible! For me it is by far one of the most brilliant choreographies I have ever seen !! I'm totally in love with it (and with Hoshi, of course!).
Oh I'm excited that shaking that Hoshi does is supposed to emulate when bugs or insects get stock on the web and try to move to scape but they can !! Omg xD our leader performance people ! I feel like a proud mama bragging about him hahahaha. Also he recorded this song watching the coreo so they will match 😢❤❤

First of all the dance, lyrics, song it all just.. idk how to describe it. If you are interested here are a few informations,
The song is about hoshi (the prey) got caught by the girl (the spider) and he cant escape, and he says he doesnt like it but still likes it therefore.. the toxic relationship, and you'll notice if you watch the mv again tha girl takes his hand off of him but leaves a fingerprint, like poison i assume and he struggles at the end just accepts his fate (the lyrics change from 'we cant escape' to 'i want to stay here')
The female dancers represents the spider meanwhile the male dancers represents the web
and i want to add i like how he uses dancers during the dance, cause first part of the chorus is a little feminine, second part is a little more aggressive but the girls dance the first then guys the second, in the second verse its vise versa (idk if it makes sense lol english is not my first language)
