    A great overnighter, living just an hour south of London myself. I have been thinking of a bike packing trip through London. So this is a great help with a nice little campsite ( I may try and visit this site). I've been trying to add another film to my channel, perhaps a bike packing trip will be next. Thanks for sharing 👍.

      @bodmacity that's very kind, there will be more, but life has just got in the way this year.

    Do you think you could fit a bike in the porch area, especially if you took the front wheel off?

    • @bodmacity
      @bodmacity  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say the porch area would be too narrow and the sides slop quite a lot. Something to try when I next use it to verify this!

      @@bodmacityThanks for the reply! Currently considering the tent for bikepacking and would definitely give peace of mind at campsites

      @@tobygreenwood5036 I usually just lock my bike up with a cheap combi lock when camping to avoid opportunistic thieves. If there is something I can lock it to I'll use that for example, at this site I locked it to a picnic table. So far touch-wood I've never had issues!

      I am considering the tarpatar 1 precisely for that reason. Any chance you could do a video of trying to fit your bike in (with wheels removed) and tag me in the commy? I am sure others would also value seeing this too!

    Thank you so much for this wonderful video review of our little campsite.
    My apologies that you couldn’t find the water tap when you arrived. We’ll take this into consideration and put some signage up, so fellow travellers don’t have the same difficulty.
    We love hosting campers like yourself, you’re welcome back any time.
    Kind Regards

    Great video, thank you for sharing. What do you think of the space in the inner ? Did you find that you were close to the mesh when lying down, or would you say there is ample space even for taller hikers ? Many thanks.

      I’ve used the Tarpstar 1 a couple of times now. I’m 5 foot 8 inches and I find the inner to be spacious enough. I still have to get to grips with a perfect pitch though! The last time I pitched it the inner was a little flappy and rather close to my face which was a little annoying. This may have been because the ground was uneven. I did try and tighten everything up but to no avail.

    Really enjoyed watching your trip. Thanks for sharing it. Would you recommend the small chair you took and if so, what brand was it please? Look forward to seeing further adventures!

      Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed the video. The chair is a Helinox Chair Zero. Very light and surprisingly comfortable.

    do you reckon you could store the bike on the other side of the tent or not enough space?

    • @bodmacity
      @bodmacity  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't think you could. It is quite narrow, plus if you did.manage to squeeze it in, for example by taking the wheels off, you would have to climb over the bike to get out of the mesh tent.

      @@bodmacity thank you, I see. When I bikepack sometimes I stress out about my bike being nicked and I was hoping this would work.

    Should have cooked your pasta first .

      Good point. I've done the recipe before using an aluminium pot with no problem with burning. I also enjoy cooking a proper meal instead of warming something up. Plus cooked pasta may get mushed.up in my bag!
