I've been watching videos like this in Tennessee, Florida, Idaho, Texas etc. Trying to find a nice place to retire in a year. The videos always show the town looking nice. This video looks like a great place to live. But I already live here and know downtown Victorville where you were driving is tweeker/ lowlife central. So it makes me wonder about the other videos.
I used to live there...but you are forgetting...there is a reason we call it "victimville" ....be safe...good thing that it looks like you are cruising the main drags on the southwest side....won't till you get to the east side of the 15...lol...that place is disgusting...
They converted it to Aerospace companies, The Hangers are mostly in use. The runway is still in use. They do commercial repair for some of the airlines. ALL the base housing is falling down. A couple of years before they closed the base they built a nice small hospital that has been rotting ever since. The golf course shut down about 15 years ago. There are a couple of newer buildings that look like such a waste.
If people would have a better attitude that could change slot of how they see the city. Honestly Victorville didn't have anything on pasadena/altadena in the 90s. This is america 🇺🇸 the country of the haves and the have nots. Its expected as the rest of this whole country
