For years, i have had no success printing my images.
I really REALLY appreciate you taking the time to do this video.. i have just gotten Lightroom CC and compared to many many other videos - you have explained every detail so clearly and so well. THANK YOU..
I have one question, does my Wacom Mobile Studio Pro need calibrating as it is an all in one tablet running Windows 10?

i finally learnt how the whole "border" thing works - I was wasting so much paper with trial and error. Followed your steps and worked perfectly. Thank you

What is crazy is that if I use a filter, it removes all the pictures that are not included from the layout I'm working on, instead of from the bar below only

I'd like to know how to select printer/paper size if I'm sending it to a lab (Bay Photo) for printing, using the print module. I use a PC, btw. For my 2:3 aspect ratio, I'll be printing a lot of 20x30. Is there a corresponding paper size for a desktop printer I can choose to get the equivalent? Or, do I need to install a printer driver from Bay Photo?

Hi Anthony, your video presentation and information in it is very helpful indeed. You don't miss anything our. Well done. I have a question, I do Event Photography, i go to party celebration event venues and set up my mobile portrait photo studio there and take and print high quality studio photographs of the guests and present it to them, for a small fee.
I was at an event very recently, I have two printers connected to my PC and I use Lightroom Classic as my software. I took my first shots and printed them and they were ok, print quality good and on the third, fourth shots when i printed the photos the colour was had a bluish colour cast on them, which was not normal. The clarity and detail was ok but not the colours. So I printed the same image with my other printed, already connected, and it produced the same result. Thus it was not my printers at fault. I brought one of the printers home, Mitsubhishi 6inch printer, and connected it to my home PC firstly, and the results were back to normal, good colour and detail. Then i connected it to PC i use in the Venue halls and printed the photos and that produced good normal results, as they should be, good colour and detail. Now i want to find out what could be the problem that occoured at the venue hall party. Could it be that Lightroom had selected a different colour Preset some how. Really i am at a loss, could you please assist me and guide me in this. Your assistance is much appreciated, Anthony. The camera equipment is ok no problem with that at all.

Great video, as usual. It seems that I don't have the PRINT SETTING near the PAGE SETUP. Is it hidden somewhere, or has it been eliminated in LIGHTROOM CC 2019? Thanks for any reply..

Thanks for a very helpful tutorial. With a Canon printer (I use the Pixma Pro 1) and the latest version of Lightroom classic on the Mac, I am forced to use 'managed by printer' when printing on Canon papers because the profiles do not show up under 'other' in the color management dialogue in the right panel. Profiles for other paper types, e.g., Ilford, do show up. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this simply a feature of the most recent software upgrades for Canon/Lightroom? In previous versions of Lightroom I was able to select Canon profiles in the right panel. The Canon website does not offer profiles for Canon printers using Canon papers saying that the profiles are packaged with the driver. But the profiles do not show up in the panel on the right. Any suggestions?

My problem: (canon pixma pro 100) All my canon printer profiles have vanished. I do not know where nor why. I am hesitant in reinstalling all the soft ware all over again because it was a long, tedious and the printer now works fine. Can I enter the paper profile or find my lost profiles and put them back in order to use lightroom??

Hi, Anthony: I learned all my LR and PS from your video. Very well organized and explained. I also subscribed to your channel and purchased some plug ins from you. I now running into the wall and can't find the answer to the following problem: In my Print Module, it only shows "page setup" but no "print setting" button, like what you showed in this video (I have no printer connected to my PC). More frustrated, in the "page setup", there is no "custom size" option. I have something like "Adobe PDF; Microsoft Print to PDF; One Note;...". In the paper size drop down, only a few selections but NO "custom size" selection. BTW, my LR is "Lightroom Classic 2019 version". Please please help! Thanks in advance.

Also, the right hand panel is also different than what you show in the video.

Got my new pixma pro 100. Printed of a calibrated screen from LR Classic with soft proofing. Disappointed! Followed your instruction for a color portrait (Mac ) and the skin tones are off (red).Used canon pro luster LU-101. My choices are LU 1/2 or LU 3.icc. Any suggestions ?

Again great tutorial, One thing is missing. I don't have my own printer so sent on line Labs, how it different for me when I am going to print area and print as JPEG. What kind of work flow I need?

In this case you have to ask the lab about the color profile and send some tests...
i know that few lab have service of "pro line" they going though all the pictures you send and then print it--
      (it is bit more expensive)

Where did you get the ICC profile? I have the same paper but Canon printer. Where can I buy or download the ICC profile?

    • @UnaNeary
      @UnaNeary 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Did you find your ICC profile? I googled it - just type in ICC profile and your model number. In my case this page came up (link below) to the Canon knowlesge base. So it looks like, nothing to download it should show up in LIghtroom dropdown which one we need to select.
