- Absolutely magnificent modified version of the level. Its density and imagination are presented perfectly like a masterpiece on a canvas. The general scenery recommends to start with an Aku Aku mask, as the Bonus Round is a force to be reckon with, but I decided not to choose the easy way out and do everything like I have always done it.. in the hard way. That's my style of gameplay after all.
The credit for this video goes to my good friend JamieFletcher53, who created this Mod and made it possible for the Crash Bandicoot worldwide to play it!

INTERESTING FACTS: In the Beta version of the game, it is impossible to get both Gems in the level except with cheats, as a coding error causes the game to freeze immediately before the acquisition of the second Gem. Additionally, this is one of the two levels in the Crash Bandicoot Series where there are no multi-numbered Wumpa Fruit inside the crates, the other being the relative Spaced Out. Also, "Dynamo" was one of the earliest names given to this level.

+supermario3459 There is a way and that is if GameShark or Cheat Engine is utilised.
If you hack the iso and overwrite a byte the screen become black when you go to the freeze part, but don't freeze and return visible after few steps.

You are welcome! Oddly, many players don't know about this little "secret". It is interesting to point out that this trait is shared with the logs that the gorillas throw in the levels Road to Ruin and Ruination.

CrashFan95 I can understand spinning them in speed runs or when it's required, but spinning them when it's perfectly fine to bounce on them just bothers me lol
Well, you could say that my walkthroughs of these Mods are a type of speedrun, as I'm trying to finish the level as fast as possible.

The last warp room to me was a real let down. The dark one in the woods was cool but the rest of them were a disappointment
I think the exact opposite. The last Warp Room is the only one that has unique levels, excluding Night Fight obviously. Plus, Rock It and Pack Attack are definitely not my favourite levels, but in my opinion, their soundtrack is the best not only in the game, but also in the entire Crash Bandicoot Series.
CrashFan95 I hear ya. Definitely a lot harder are these levels but they made Cortex way too easy to beat. I mean N Gin is a harder fight tbh
This time I completely agree with you. Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is my favourite game of all time, but the lack challenge in the final boss fight really upsets me as it takes away too much from the game's greatness.

It was only when I watched the video again I remembered there was a TNT crate in the middle of that pile of nitro crates, realizing that sacrificing the Aku Aku mask was unnecessary and stupid, as all I should have done was to jump over the pile, activate the TNT crate and flee.
Tought it was a strategy to gain time 👍

It's undeniable that this version of the level is tougher, but if you get used to it, you will be able to reach the end with all three prizes.
Can enemies been modified? Their placement, number etc.
Yes, they can. You may add as much enemies as you want and place them wherever you feel like it needs an extra challenge. However, more enemies means more polygons on the screen, which means bigger lags. The hardware limitations of the Playstation 1 are not that powerful to handle so many things in one place.
No, I played this Mod on my laptop using a PS1 emulator called Epsxe. It's not recommended to play the Mods on the console itself because the chances of the game crashing are higher.

The upper side of the nitro crate was solidified. It's an option that CrashEdit provides.

You can't mod an emulator. You can mod a specific level in the game by using the CrashEdit program.
