Love to see all your wips 😊 i will be so tired with so many. I am thinking of casting on a blanket with all my scraps. Love to see how your favo sweater is looking and little Nellis sweaters are looking so cool
Hi Inga, the sound was fine before, but I think it does sound noticeably better now. Love all the WIPs. So wish I could also find treasures like those handknit ones in my local thrift store!
I hope to someday have your skills! I want to knit sweaters, but I am just getting started and working on socks. I can crochet anything, but learning to knit in my 60's has been a challenge!!! Your sound and film quality was great.
I stumbled across some yarn in my office today that you have inspired me to use for a badger sweater for my granddaughter. Thank you for always having such a positive and fun podcast!
I always love your knits. The brown sweaters are beautiful, I’m loving brown right now. What great finds at the thrift store. Nellie is so lucky. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
Thank You Inga for another wonderful podcast. Love seeing your makes and WIPs. You found some treasures for Nellie. The sound and video was great. I’m working on Color-work socks - Rhubarb and Cream by Zaneteknits as I watch.
Inga, all the podcast was great! Great lighting, sound, and content! Love the chunky sweater but not sure about the piecing together part of it. I’m excited about the blanket along for sure…….. this will be first “along “ of any kind. You’ve already had some snow? Well the warm and wooly yarns will be well enjoyed! I’ve now completely transitioned to non superwash wool, it was initially hard because of all the beautiful colors that seem prevalent in superwash yarn but I’m embracing the wooly wools now and enjoy knitting with them soooo much more! Hugs, ClaudiaSJI
Im so glad your enjoying your nsw yarns😍😁 i can recomend several indiedyers of nsw wool if your looking for some particularly pretty colors😁 zakami and woolhmammoth for example
Inge, I write my message from London, Ontario Canada. So happy to be the first message this morning to say thank you for so much inspiration and joy. Now I’ll watch your episode!❤️
I absolutely loved the sweater for your daughter. As to colorwork at the bottom, let her pick again. You reminded me that I have a blanket that I had just started and it got put on hold. Time to get working on it
Thank you Inga! What an incredible lineup you have on your knitting needles - makes me feel almost normal! As long as one is enjoying the process and not feeling overwhelmed, why not have a variety of beauties to work on? I feel embarrassed at times to admit the number of my WIP's but I'm heartened by your enthusiasm about your own. Love the brown shades you have on the go for yourself and what a lucky little girl Nelli is!
Always love to wake up in the weekend and slowly start the day knitting and watching your new episode. It makes me so happy! Thank you Inga 🥰. I’m working on my Camille wrap cardigan bij Kolibri by Johanna. I’m using two strands of brushed alpaca silk by drops and it flies of my needles! Such a joy after working with 3mm needles all summer! I have to say I love your podcasting vibe! Just calm ,slow and happy. It’s a joy to watch your podcasts and I’m always looking forward to the next one. I’m a bit sad that the tickets for Breda are all sold out. But if it’s a success (I’m sure it will!) then I’ll hope it will be a yearly thing so I can go next year. Happy knitting Inga and a big hug for little Nelly ❤🥰
Thanks for such a nice episode again. Love your knits. Working on the Robinia-Sweater from Anne Ventzel. First time using Drops Air and am quite happy with it. Best regards. Maren
The lighting and sound was great as well as all your knits. Thank you for inspiring us with all of your sweater knits and blankets. When I get home on Monday (in Georgia babysitting great-nieces age 1 & 2) I’m going to cast on my Weekender Sweater by Andrea Mowery…I can’t wait. Happy Knitting, Inga!!!! Kathy from Massachusetts
Dear Inga, Thank you for another great episode. I am always so impressed by the amount of knitting you get done. Looking forward to meeting you in Breda very much! Love Christina from Austria
Great to see you, Inga and catch up on all of your projects. Great finds at the thrift store! I am currently knitting the Harlow V-neck by Caidree. It’s knitting up quickly on 4.5mm needles. I’m trying to finish this before it gets cold here, currently it’s in the 90s Fahrenheit so nowhere close to sweater weather. ☀️
@@knittingtraditions I highly recommend this pattern. I love how it’s written and I just think it’s a cute design! Hey, last night I came across a new podcast to me. I think she only has three episodes. It’s called Knits by Wilma. She’s in Sweden, she makes lovely things in dreamy yarns, and she’s got a really warm and friendly vibe.☀️🧶🐏
Cast on a new blanket project while catching up with you this morning 🥰 And we will never complain about the sunlight being bright in your videos - we know how rare and special sunlight can be for you in Norway! Enjoy your fall knitting!
The video quality was good. 😊 I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your projects! I'm inspired to consider using stash for a Puzzle-Pillow Blanket (large aran weight garter squares) by Meg Swansen (Schoolhouse Press.) The squares can be folded and tucked to make a pillow! Happy knitting and playing with sweet Nelli!
I love that you can thrift handknits where you are. I tried to take some of my handmade clothing (both knits and sewn) to the thrift and consignment stores near me, and they all say they can’t take them because they don’t know how to price them!
@@knittingtraditions right?! I would LOVE to find handknits at the thrift store. Most of what is here is the same fast fashion stuff that’s in the regular stores, just slightly cheaper
Norway is on my list of places to travel to one day! Yeah I’m going to participate in this make along and pull out my blanket project 😬. I really love the dark hair on you😍! So many great wips. See you next time Inga 😊💛.
Hello Inga, thank you for the new episode. The set up is perfect, sound ok. I have enjoyed the whole video. I love the sweaters you make for your daughter and when you said, that the new balaclava is somewhere, it just reminded me my life. And that your stitchmarkes are beeing kidnaped. 😂 I was laughing a lot. The same situation happens to me with two children. My needlestoppers dogs now live in the city on the children' s room floor. Happy knitting.❤
Love all your projects! I made my Badger in Nutiden and made my youngest son one in Drops Air. I barely get a chance to wash it because he wants to wear it every single day! He has a bunch of other hand knit sweaters but this one is by far his favourite. I guess I'll make him a second one 😍
Thank you for another lovely episode! 🥰 Lovely WIPs, especially the sweaters look perfectly cozy. Very excited about the Blanket along and inspired by the relaxed attitude you have towards your longer-term WIPs! I've been wanting to start a scrappy sock yarn blanket, but haven't yet, because I don't have that many scraps yet. It's likely going to take a long time to finish. Your Make along might be the push I need to just get started and be okay with it taking a while. 🙂
Your vidéos are so peaceful, i m not into the blanket knit , but i loved watching your vidéo anyway. I ll finish a travellermode 2.0 this week, and then i go back to a Riddari sweater that hibernates at the moment 🤫
Heia, from Rygge in Norway! Long time I didn’t watch your episodes, but now I’m so inspired to knit 🧶 along while watching all&everything of your projects! I love fall-colors ( is that a word? ) too🍃🍂these days I knit a small sweater in blue, dark green and turquoise to one of my grandsons, he’s almost 3 years old! I wish you a fine October knitting month 🧶🌼
Hi Inga! Love the little skirt it is amazing! You made me giggle when you mentioned the escaped stitch markers ha! Ha! A new store had opened in the city it’s Danish they sell only small amount of colours of yarn and needles and stitch markers umm maybe they have sailed across North Sea to Newcastle! Love stash of coloured coordinates of yarn! Thank you as always so much fun to see you! Xx 🍂🧶🍁😘
I have been enjoying your podcast since the very beginning. I would love to make hot water bag covers for Christmas, the issue is I have not found a hot water bag in the US that retains heat and does not leak. I have tried sooooo many! Please recommendations! Nellie is one lucky girl to have all those hand knits made with sooooo much love.
Oh no thats such a shame😩 i havent experienced that problem yet with any of mine but i buy them in a store not online😕 maybe someone else knows of an online store for good ones?
Hi Inga, there are several different websites that convert written patterns into charts. Especially useful for patterns that have panel repeats. Thought might help with the fisherman’s blanket, which looks fun and beautiful.
You're making me homesick! I live in the US now, but was born and raised in Norway (and Denmark). Just stumbled across you for the first time today, and I'm very happy I did! I did get slightly stressed out looking at that final thrifted sweater though, it looks like the neckline is coming apart? It was kinda hard to tell 😅 I'm sure it's an easy fix though!
I love all your knits. How do you wash your wool blankets? I have lots of wool that I want to use in a blanket but I do get worried about washing them. . Thank you in advance.
I'm going to be in Amsterdam that weekend! I missed getting a ticket for the festival by ONE day. lol They sold out the day before my travel plans were finalized. Just my luck. 🙃
I have asked for notification if a ticket becomes available, but there are 29 people ahead of me on the ticket trading website, so I expect I won’t be going. It’s ok. You snooze, you lose.
@@knittingtraditions I thought so too from the curve of the connection between band and body of the bad, it wasn’t that deep so many thanks for the response ❤️❤️
Hi, Inge! Haven't been here for a while. You look so pretty with brown hair. And the colours of yarn! I saw the intro picture and my eyes popped like a cartoon character. So gorgeous!! How's Nelli?
Yes i think it should fit fine, wool is self cleansing but if it ever needs a wash id probably lay it out to dry on the terrasse floor in the summer time or hang it over the drying rack same as bedsheets
Why don't you take an hour and create your own chart from the instructions? In the long run, you will knit it faster than continuously reading the pattern.

Norway sounds like a magical place. Not just wooly sweaters at the thrift shops, HANDKNIT wooly sweaters! Amazing.
Your video is so crisp and clear and the sound quality was superb! Good choices on your technology.
