Respectfully, the entire premise of your critique is inaccurate. If you read the interviews with the actual writers and show runners, you will learn that the show is NOT based upon the Bible. In fact, it is based upon the comic book series Lucifer, written by Neil Gaiman and Mike Carey, et. al. You insinuate that Eve's trip to Earth was impossible, but you neglect to consider that it is perhaps "God's Plan" that Eve show up to help Lucifer embrace his dark side. Season 6 comes out in 2 weeks, so many of these storylines you are criticizing have not yet been resolved. Your other criticisms that the mythology and stories of the Bible are invalid. They have repeatedly said that this is NOT based upon the Bible or any one religion's definition of Lucifer. You are criticizing the entire premise of the show, so this makes it entirely personal, and not at all constructive. C'mon. You can do better.
Who ever wrote this bad shit against Lucifer obviously did not see the show. But instead just made something up to get his 5 minutes of fame. The show is obviously GREAT
They had an opportunity with Eve’s character and failed. Instead of coming to earth to find out what happened to her only surviving son, she’s only interested in her obsession with Lucifer and parties. It's disappointing they didn't focus on growth for Eve. An important, reoccurring theme in the show is good parenting. The actress is lovely, but there's no believability the character could possess the selflessness to be a Mom, even in the final season. Again, I'm a fan of the actress Inbar Lavi and think she's highly gifted and stunningly beautiful. I wish they would have given the character more depth to work with.
It really seems like character growth isn’t something the writers have ever been able to do well. Lucifer goes from a self-centered arrogant douche in episode 1- when he thinks he’s always right and regularly ignores the opinions of others- to the exact same character by the end.
In season 1 it said that he's been on earth for 5 years so at the end of season 5 the it would have been 10 also we didn't see and of the demons true form except maze because they only possessed the dead humans unlike maze who left hell instead of possession
my biggest gripe with the show is that the writers have no idea how to use the side characters such as eve, daniel and ella. They give them stupid subplots with barely anything to do that reach a climax in which they mope abgout it for some time or leave the show.
Yes, that's a good gripe. Or when they tack on an extra character or a storyline that was never alluded to or explored before just to give that character something more to do. Or when they change a character attribute that was previously canon just so they can have something to write about, same when they regress a character trait.
Season 1 lucifer was fun, exciting, unexpected, lucifer actually had powers and was exciting to watch. As the seasones progressed the show went to shit. Season 1 supremacy!
@@tzartea8473 yea season 5 had some weak moments, but some amazing moments too.. Not sure the season 5 was supposed to be the last one, this was made only because of the money, hence it makes no sense and is rife with propaganda and cringe. Ugh I really hate the fact that they did this to such a good show..
@@lopolik I totally get it, but I didn't refer to circumstances around making the show like this was supposed to be the last season but suddenly it wasn't so there was so much mess, but 6th didn't do it for me either (I didn't even watch all of it). There were plenty of good moments like Dan vs God which I find hilarious, but it doesn't change my opinion about the story itself, which went into the wrong direction in my opinion. Also I agree that they have badly hurt awesome show that it was before.
Very intersting video. Even if there are inaccuracies in the series, I don´t mind at all. I like it and it turns out important. Amazing actors and divine Lucifer.!
My main issue is that the main ship is based on Chloe's never having free will, God putting her in a life that grooms her from birth to be the woman that tames and fixes his rebellious son, and Lucifer being just fine with that by the time season 5 rolls around, despite the fact they hate everything the other likes and enjoys outside of work, he stopped fighting his stalking, aggro, obsession that crossed so many lines this show will later be known as nothing but r@p3 culture propaganda. So I was all for that idea of Lucifer being Chloe's wingman instead. The show had potential and that is why I watched but then was severely disappointed by... All that squandered potential.
The eve thing I understand but I think the point of the show was to have a divine devil who changes through out time😂 I liked it, the investigating, lucifer becoming a generally great guy. The name of the show is lucifer not detective. They want you to like the dude not hate him
You do realise that this is fantasy and few people are religious. Personally I have little knowledge about the Bible, and no interest to learn more. All I want is a good story. Fantasy requires one to suspend ones disbelief. I take my hat off to all involved in bringing this story to us!
The actress who plays Eve is intelligent, I was waiting for the writers to give her an epiphany. Like going back through time to try and help her sons. So the wedding was more annoying and an obvious LGBTQ community marketing tool. Everyone else grew. I'm happy Maze is happy, but at that point, it's hard to take the show seriously. I love the while “Ghost” Tribute with Dan. Probably my favorite thing about season 6. I appreciated that they poked fun of patriarchal, dated believes when they brought Adam in (lmao!!). It was kind of a goofy season.
The only bad writing in season 4 and 5 is Dan unjustly blaming Lucifer for Charlotte's death and Maze being mad that Lucifer went back to Hell without her and betraying everyone twice for Michael for own selfish needs.
How about all the “will they/won’t they” between Chloe and Lucifer that persists throughout the entire series- despite Chloe literally being made for Lucifer. How about all of the awful cliffhangers that get resolved in 2 seconds of the next episode? How about the show outgrowing the whole “detective” plot, yet still continuing it?
@@Space_CowboyHD 2 seconds? After Chloe found out Lucifer was the Devil, it took episodes to get passed it. Even causing a rift between the two for a few episodes. Dan also had to deal with the aftermath of finding out Lucifer was the Devil in his own way for a few episodes. Chloe had to deal with her identity crisis for a couple of episodes. Linda actually had to deal with her mother issues all the way back in season 2. It's obvious you're not a fan of tge show because you clearly didn't pay attention to how story threads expanded. So, you shouldn't bother posting messages.
One thing that I agree is that how Eve came down to Earth, they must to explain it in the 6th season. But on the rest, if Lucifer would be only bad, could be a boring serie. This Lucifer from the first episode was different, when he connected with the famous singer and he really worried about her. This Lucifer is about his redemption. A crazy history different of the rest. This one is a mix of police investigation, comedy and a little religion. Fox didn’t invest too much money in effects, because they want a lot of episodes instead. That’s why Lucifer didn’t have wings and Amenadiel lost them in season 2 and 3. The show is not bad, have good Imbd and the only things that they must to fill is some plot holes that I hope they do in September. For me, Chloe was necessary for the development of The Devil. During all the season he was a womanizer and orgy host, but he was getting tired of that things. He started being impulsive, sex addict, and careless but he was getting ties with the humans with the time. In my opinion, this is a different history of the Devil, and that’s was the catch of the show.
Theirs the episode in season 3 but can’t remember what episode number but it’s a throw back to when he decided to stay their after making a deal to be paid later with amenadeil to find his necklass after being shot
Until end of season 3 it was an amazing series. Unfortunately netflix screw it up, so season 4-5 and 6 is crap, it's only about the "look" not about the story. Have no idea why they think, we are stupid and need brainless fighting scenes and PC bullsh.t, when it was a really good story at the beginning.
No she sais tmshe slipped back into her old bones. Basically she did the same as Goddess. She left Heaven, and find her way to her body. And because her body was special, directly created by the fmhands of God, it healed.

What you have to remember is that This Lucifer is based on the Lucifer from DC Comics, NOT the Bible, that's probably why it's not as Biblical.
