Thank you for your kind comments! Yes brother, even the best RC pilots crash all the time! The only thing stopping me from flying more often is the lack of time…
I bought a volantex spitfire 400mm. The wind calmed down that evening and I got excited to fly. Too excited. I didn't properly (and fully) check out the controls in my rush to do a maiden flight. I kept climbing and there were still winds above my head. I should have shut the throttle down but I didn't. It grew smaller and smaller then nothing. It's camouflage paint scheme is sure to never be found in the pine trees it is likely resting in. $100 bucks. Poof.
@@coloradofotomatt even the best RC pilots lose planes all the time on their maiden flights bro! I’m still contemplating getting better and bigger planes! Haha
Sorry for your loss. I started flying 1.5 years ago. I love the hobby but some days it hurts too 😢. As you say it is part of the hobby isnt it. Once you accept that each time you put a plane in the sky, there is a chance, that you might not get it back. Once that is accepted that reality is accepted without denial it gets a little easier. Keep going Sir!
Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, I totally agree with you. It happens to the best of us and we really just all need to get along and enjoy the joys this hobby brings! I've crashed planes, and helicopters, lost a boat and wrecked some cars so far within a year of getting back into this hobby but I'm still loving it!
I am sorry you lost it, I have lost only one eachine plane so far, it is traumatic , what I can say about this plane is that we have three of them and have many flights on them, and they fly great
Ya like I said, it happens to the best of us! But one thing is for sure, most of us will not give up on this hobby! Thank you for your kindness and let’s all continue to have fun together!
Hi! Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, this XK A280 is easier and flies better than the Volantex Spitire, simply because it's slight bigger and has better flight dynamics. Even though I lost it on its maiden flight, I still love it! Haha...
Oh dear... yes, it happens to the best of us and yes too, I'm not giving up. If you've watched my Cessna video, you'd know why! Let's all learn and have fun together!
I bought this plane but it doesn't turn on except the lights. I have tried reconnecting the small connectors but no result. Would you know where the issue might be coming from?
Hi. Switch on your transmitter and then connect the battery to the plane. The lights should turn on and once paired to the transmitter, you should be able to operate the plane. Did your control surfaces and throttle work?
@@khawaja009 oh dear... too bad i already lost my plane or else i could test it out again for you. maybe I still have the manual so I can check that out. perhaps you want to try disconnect the lighting wires and check the other connections? from what I can remember, the wires and connectors are really wonky. i broke one of the LED connectors too.
@@khawaja009 good luck brother! look at the bright side, at least you still have the plane to work on while I've already lost mine on its maiden. haha...
Always remember Uncle Raymond, fly, crash, repair, repeat!! So is the fun of radio control flying!! I enjoyed your video!!
