I'm reminded, immediately, of Schrammelmusik, a Viennese specialty chamber music consisting of a trio - violin, a double necked guitar, and. . . . wait for it. . . . a G soprano clarinet. You sound REALLY good, by the way, Quinn. BEAUTIFUL restoration!!!!!!
David Pino, in his book on the clarinet (available in a Dover paperback reprint) suggests using a shoestring for a ligature, in the manner of German clarinetists using a cord. I've been doing this for years, and find it gives a better tone and response than a metal ligature. So, I'd say that your ligature problem here isn't that you have a string, but rather that you don't have enough of it!
Sounds great. I just completed a Flemish medieval bagpipe print that goes great with the other Renaissance instruments in our group. How is your rackett project coming? I made a descant rackett but can’t find measurements or models of any others.
Thank you Quinn. Hope can I get I’m mouthpiece for this instrument I was given an altered system A flat clarinet several years ago with no Ministries it’s been impossible to try to find one here in the UK God bless you. Bill. UK
1:21 You blow low E and I blow the same tone on my Eb Piccolo Clarinet and it shows C on the chromatic tuner. Does that make sense? You also said it is C4. I know that this is transcribing but can you comment on this? Thanks..
If you blow the low A on the Eb Clarinet, it will show C, according to the tuning (Eb). So I don't know... Instead, if you blow the low E on the Ab Piccolo Clarinet, it will show C on the tuner... It all depends of the tuning of the instrument: You can't get C in tuning concert playing the same note in both instruments. The important thing here is the transposition. You need to blow a specific note to play in tune with instruments in C.

For real. I play clarinet, and someday I wanna play this.
I wonder how big the reed is 😂

Another one who does this, my $2 shoelace sounds better than a $40 metal one
Awesomeness! 🎼🎶
HOW DID YOU GET ONE
I love how it says the reeds aren't for a Bb or Eb but only for Ab
Still waiting for the update!!!!
Very nice! I’ve definitely heard worse! Sounds like that 3D printed mouthpiece is doing a great job with real Ab reeds. Jealous!

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. I also play the Eb Clarinet. It's beautiful!
Still not as obnoxious as a piccolo flute.
Piccolos are not obnoxious if you know how to play them. Sorta like the whole group of lower clarinets....they can be pretty obnoxious as well.
Show this to squidward.
