      No...use this process for open traverse only ! If you use it for closed traverse then you might end up with different values of a particular bearing. For closed traverse problem, first you need to close the traverse by correcting all the included angles and then only you correct all the bearings...

      Possibly...but make sure after correcting the bearings, the sum of all included angles must be equal to (2n-4)*90. If it is so, then your solution is correct !

      That's because now your instrument is at station C where location attraction is detected.Take observation in any direction from C, you will get an error of 35 mins. Thats y from C towards D , error cant be zero.

      The difference between FB and BB of line CD is 179 degrees 25 mins, which is 35 mins less than 180 degrees.
      At this stage, just observe whether the magnitude of the difference is less than, greater than or equal to 180 degrees. So it doesn't matter whether you are doing BB-FB or FB-BB, what matters is that what is the relation of difference with respect to 180.
      Since it is 35 mins less than 180 (error), so in order to make the difference 180, just add 35 mins (correction).

    FB is from north to the line ,but you took from line to line

      All the angles are from North direction, whether it is FB or BB. However, in the figure I have mistakenly wrote 96 degree and 55 minutes as an interior angle of B. It is a FB of BC which will come in 2nd quadrant. So the figure will remain the same.

      Hi Ritwik...
      Let me reframe this question. What to do when ALL the lines are having LOCAL attraction?
      There are two cases:-
      Case 1: There exists at least ONE line in which the difference between FB and BB is 180 degrees. In this case, solve the numerical as shown in this video.
      Case2: Not even a single line exists that has a difference of 180 degrees, in this case:
      a) Search the line that has the least error for eg. difference in FB and BB is 180 degrees and 10 minutes.
      b) Here 10 minutes is the least error among all the lines.
      c) Now divide 10 minutes into 2 parts i.e 5 minutes. Adjust 5 mins in FB and 5 mins in BB in such a way so that their difference becomes exact 180 degrees.
      d) Now the difference is 180 degrees, use this line as your reference line and solve the rest of the numerical as shown in this video.

      It turns out that any observation taken from station B and C is wrong, hence it needs to be corrected by fixing the error. That is why station B and C have local attraction. Got it ?
