Honestly they both learned so much from eachother
Its actually kind of smart by the creators. In most indian based comedies, the older sister and smart cousin and cliche roles but with Kamala, it was a balanced blend. Pretty cool.

I haven't watched this show but I like to watch these shorts about Devi and her life BUT I'm just wondering WHYYY only Devi has this amazing English accent which sounds normal but all the other India ns have this WEIRD accent even though they are just the same as Devi???WHAT THE HELL'S THAT ABOUT??
Most of the other Indian characters were born in India and lived there for most of their lives, while Devi was born in the U.S. So it makes sense that she has an American accent.
Dude, Kamala went to the US for studies and was born in india, as well as Devi's mom and grandma. Devi was born and raised in the US, it only makes sense that her accent is actually american.

Me and my sister who is closest to me in age have always had a love hate relationship. I used to be jealous of her for being the favourite. Then I realised it wasn't her fault. That brought us so much closer. I love her so much. But she's kinda dumb.

It’s my opinion.
In my opinion it’s overrated because it’s just about some “quirky” girl who just wants to get a bf SO BAD that it’s all she focuses on and the other times she is just crying about her dad (which I get) but it’s just not the type of show I enjoy at all.
