With the summer heat moving in on us in Arizona, we decided to make like the buffalo and head North into Utah, where we received a SNOWY warm welcome - being born and raised in South Florida, I had never heard of Junuary, have you?! The next day we explored Bryce Canyon for the very 1st time, hiking basically the best loop in the park - all of them ;) So grateful we can share this incredible place on our beautiful earth with you, wherever you are.

Curious, anyone else ever seen snow in June? If so where?! ☃️

We had a snow day during the final week of school when I was a kid in like 1979. That was June 6th and the busses couldn't get through. In Michigan.
And if the velcro doesn't work, use some Gorilla super glue and install it permanently on Spirit.😁😁.
Baby Doll nope, she asked for what we would like her to paint and we said an abstract rainbow 🌈 we explain a bit more about it at the end of last week’s episode 💓

Yes Navajo Loop - my Father is Navajo and I use to work the front desk at Ruby's Inn Best Western there years ago as college students during the summer. We loved our nightly hikes down the trails. :)

Went for our 30th anniversary...did the Navajo Trail loop and spent entire day exploring. There's a great waterfall in that area as well...even though you wouldn't think there was water anywhere. I just love how God kissed that entire area!!! God Bless.

That's the NW for you. I was living in BC, Canada in the late 70's, We were up in the Purcell Mts. and woke up to about 2" of snow in August. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!

Thinking that was sleet, but even so, quite common for high elevation areas. I lived in Colorado Springs for awhile and one June it sleeted so much they actually got out the snow plows and had to plow off streets. By the next day it was all gone and back to normal. Weather there was so different than the lower elevations for sure. I live in Alaska now and have only seen snow up through May....in my immediate area as I am sure it snowed somewhere in the mountains in June at some point. Have fun and keep enjoying life!

Yes indeed. We traveled to Colorado Springs but waterfalls were closed except for Helen Hunt which was not crowded at all. Campgrounds in New Mexico were closed but u could park and explore but no using bathrooms or picnic tables. Fines highly enforced we read. I love all your adventures it inspired us to do some of our own. Our spin is we rollerskate as we travel which is such great excercise.

OH, this is a beautiful place to hike! I cannot believe that no one is there. We lived northern Utah 21 years ago and there is beautiful hiking in the northern part of the state as well. I hiked the famous arch in Moab while I was five months pregnant.

A year ago we were camping in Yellowstone during the summer solstice and it was snowing and freezing for the first half of the trip
You can use velcro to stick the painting on your wall. That usually works mutch better than tape.

spend an entire day hiking the Fairyland Trail, it was our favorite 💖
Bryce rim sits at almost 8,000 ft elevation. The weather can be crazy. Just came back and happened to hit 20’s during the day, snow, and 30 mph wind. Beautiful place and tried to make the best of it.
30 years ago I walked this park and it'still the only place that seemed to be a prehistoric setting. I just kept thinking a dinosaur was going to be around the next corner or a pterodactyl was going to fly over me. Wasn't scared...just in awe. Very nice video.
We should have had the camera rolling when we saw the dinosaur but we had to run to get away 😉

Have not made it into the Bryce Canyon Park YET ! What you have shared of it is nothing less then spectacular. Stunning wide vista type views from the top and even more stunning formations looking up views from the bottom. Mother Nature does put on one hellva a wonder show. Hey Brittany and Drew....just found your channel and really enjoying your adventures in Bryce!!!!Yup, we were there two Mays ago and had 1 foot of snow at the highest point in the park(Rainbow Point at 9115 feet....point of clarification for Brittany!!!)...We hiked the Queens trail to Wall Street....Thanks for the memories!!!!Park was a bit more crowded when we were there...before Covid...Was no snow on the Queens trail though...First found you guys when you were at Capital Reef N.P....We were also there, but didn't know about the pies!!!!!You two are a delightful couple...looking forward to seeing more of your adventures.....Hank and Pam from South Texas..

What brand are your boots? I am a fan of Keen hikers. Only boot I've been able to wear without breaking in that also did not hurt my feet. I have an old pair that's like 8 yrs old and I want to get new ones, but those old ones are so comfy....retiring them for my yard and garden use when I get new ones.

Pretty wild in June to have it snowing/sleeting like that. It's all part of the hoodoos formation process.
All I can say about today’s video wow wow wow my daughter Sarah done her internship in Bryce Canyon and she fell in love with it what an adventure
And the drives that surround it are so amazing as well!! Flagstaff to Page to Bryce to Capitol Reef (spoiler alert)! She is so blessed she was able to do her internship in such a wonderful, magical place ✨
