This is awesome! I kept watching this video about more than 10 times and when I did stamping, I did not make any mistake! I got it all perfect! Thankss you're a lifesaver
OMG...!! I try everything and every nail polish to pick-up the images...but non of it's work... BUT when the moment I saw u peel the blue plastic I jump out frm my bed and find out that i didn't peel the plastic yet... It's bcoz my plastic was TRANSPARENT!!! Thank you....for ur video!!!! Finally found out...
Nice video but was I the only one hoping for a solution or a correction to the problem as it went along? Lol maybe I’m just simple sometimes but nice to see I have the same stamping plate it takes me a few tries sometimes because I have made each of these mistakes 😂 thanks for making me feel normal about it 💁🏼♀️❤️
I actually have a video on my channel where I show how to stamp properly, if you're interested! I'm glad this video was able to make you feel normal haha thanks for watching :)
you can't expect to put Polish on an image, scrap it and take 5 min finding the stamper, then think that you will be able to pick up your image! you need to pick it up the second you scrap it because it dries quick!! .I couldn't get the stamper that came with the set to pick up. but practice makes perfect.
Yes, I totally agree. I added it in the video because it's a mistake I made myself before, but hopefully someone else learned from it. Practice definitely does make perfect!
Actually I got the hang of it after the second try, with this very kit. Some designs are easier to work with than others. It does take practice even after watching tutorials.
I am so guilty of pressing too hard... and I kept doing it lol Once I found out I hardly had to put any pressure on the stamper I was like daaaaamn... Haha, we all learn from our mistakes 😄 Great video, by the way. TFS 😘
I have my own stamping machine I make wherever you told me to do I sales for $5 each and $3.85 shipping only inside the USA only 1 stamping and 1 scraping I don’t sale the silicone transfer
I was beginning to lose hope that I would be able to use stamping plates successfully. I watched many different tutorials, tried everything I had learned from them, and STILL couldn’t get it to work! After watching your video, I realized exactly what I was doing wrong, and I wondered why none of the other videos demonstrated such a simple step. I was pressing down too hard! When it didn’t work, guess what I did...pressed harder! Ugh!!! I just tried it barely pressing down, and it worked perfectly! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
how do you know if the amazon cheapy stamper that refuses to pick up is the issue or if *you* are the issue? it doesnt pick up anything at all not even a corner or a bit not fast not slow not rolling not over scraping not scraping very little not even a blob on the plate to test it picks up nothing! what then?
I feel like a stamper works in the beginning but after 7 successful stamps then i cant get it to pick up the image. What am i doing wrong? I use tape to clean off the stamper in between. Can you do a videl on how to care and clean the tools?
i definitely can. i‘d recommend using 100% acetone to completely clean off your stamping plate after EVERY use and make sure that your stamper is being gently cleaned with tape to not ruin the tacky surface :)
My question is, I tried stamping for the first time, but I tried EVERYTHING to get the plate clean and the image I used the first time with no problems just won't let go of all the color. I don't know what else to try. I even pored nail polish remover and let it sit in the image. After a bit, I used a Q-tip to try to get into all the cracks and crevices. Then tried using a paper towel to absorb everything that I hoped
Do you guys have any advice on how to stamp when your stamping plate's etching is too shallow? I just got some new ones and one of my favorites arrived with a shallow etching :/ I still have some hope left that I might be able to work around it somehow!
okay so update: i just remembered i filmed a "watermarble" video and in the beginning you can see me suck at watermarble lol I totally forgot about it. It's called How NOT to Watermarble + Watermarble Hack. I will most likely still do an official "What not to do when watermarbling" video eventually though :P Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/3p5XUqpdOMA/w-d-xo.html&lc=z13jgjti0ofssh2xd04ceb255nfdenjhptg0k
Clever presentation 🤗 ... and very helpful! Thanks! Oh! What do you think about roughing up a new stamper with a nail file? Mine came with one and the instructions suggested it, but I’m scared to try. I don’t know how much to rough it up.
I personally would not recommend doing that. I have never buffed a stamper of mine before and they all work great. If you really want to, do it with something gentle as opposed to a nail file. Hope that helps. Thank you!
You are right; a file would have been bad. I ended up using a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and it worked great! My stampers immediately got so much better at picking up the images.
LilypadPolish Thanks! I ended up using a Mr. Clean Eraser sponge. It made all the difference. Now, I am not having the problem of the image not picking up unless I wait too long.
"Aw, shucks." "Gosh darn it." 😂😂😂 Very helpful video! But those made it memorable.
I wish you would have showed how to actually do it with this kit. That’s the only thing this video is missing... 😕
This is awesome! I kept watching this video about more than 10 times and when I did stamping, I did not make any mistake! I got it all perfect! Thankss you're a lifesaver
I'm so glad this video was able to help you with your stamping!!

yaay I'm so glad I was able to help!
Very common mistake btw
🤣🤣🤣😭😭
Dont feel bad. I did that too. Like 5 minutes I kept trying then realized the stamp pad had a sticker on it that needed peeled first...smh

Bahhaha I passed by this and did a really hard laugh and everyone looked at me like I was crazy.😂😂😂

apply powder on stamp it will start picking art
I have the same kit so this was extra helpful haha thanks! I finally got it to work
Also i finally got it to work by pressing straight on the image not too hard and then rolling on the nail for anyone still struggling

Normal nail paint se hota hai ye?
I clicked on the video and then forgot what it was about....and somewhere in the middle I was like..what the heck is she even trying to do😅
Okay I am doing two of these things. Over scraping and rolling slowly
Hi I tried that nothing isn't working can you help is my polish or is it because I am not doing something wrong
How do you clean the stamper
Where did u get that stamping pallet?
It was at Walmart years ago. They've since changed the designs on the plate in the kit though it still sells for about $10.
Great Tutorial! I made all of these mistakes too when I first started stamping!
glad to hear i'm not alone! haha thank you
Super cute video! And I learned A LOT! THANX!!!
I really did every one of these and was wondering why it wasn’t working. Lmaooooo

@@LilypadPolish can you fix it if you cleaned it with acetone before knowing you shouldn't?
Pretty sure I've done all these mistakes 😂 thanks for this!!
Thank you for sharing! I love your other video, too! Great tips! 👍🏻

try using 100% acetone instead of just regular nail polish remover

Maybe you need a stamper that is more squishy/tacky, like the "marshmallow" type of stamper. I know Winstonia sells a few of them!
what not to do when watermarbling??
Awesome idea, but unfortunately I'm still working on figuring that out LOL! When I do, I will definitely do a video on it :)
