This is the first video that thoroughly explains how to use these products well enough that someone like myself who is completely brand new to all of this, now knows precisely what and how to apply, clean, and design successfully. After watching many, many videos to teach myself how to use the stamper, etc I am very happy to have found this one. You would think a lot of this shit is self explanatory, but it isn't. So thanks! I've subscribed to your channel, too. 🤗
@Kate is right!!! I had to learn the hard way years ago. This video shows what I was doing wrong. I tried it and nails came out beautiful without making a messy nightmare. I am Ver happy too 😅
Yessss!! I agree @Katiee0592! 💯 🩷 She's absolutely wonderful at actually explaining the tech that goes into perfecting the technique!! I was lossstttt until I came across this tutorial. So thank you SOOOO much @expressnailsstore for all your help and patience you put into these tutorials!! 🩷🩵🙏🏼 P.S.- Yessss; I know I'm late. . . I'm aware & can read the date the video was posted.... Fortunately for me this came when I searched for "How to perfect the sharpie nail hack"!! Bc if it hadn't I'd still be pissed off, wasting polish & time and gettin' absolutely nowhere near to reachin' my nail goals!! 🩵🫂🩷
@@jenpierce2385 One major one! She was doing a good job generally, but she was working *very* slowly for stamping ☺️ to make sure you get all your image picked up correctly, you need to work FAST! As soon as the polish starts to dry slightly, it won’t pick up properly. Especially if the room is warm/the lights are warm. You swap one skill for another with stamping: if you’re not great at freehand art or don’t have that amount of time to spend with each client, you swap freehand skills for speed! Not all freehand artists can be great at stamping for this reason - they’re not always used to working lightning fast 😂🤦🏼♀️ so if you aren’t great at freehand, you need to be good at being fast 😝💗
I use the Maniology plates and polish, so I don't know if it makes a difference, but if you're using a highly pigmented nail polish you should only need one brush of nail polish at the top of the image, that way you only need to scrape once. Roll your stamper over the image as soon as possible to ensure the best pickup. Scraping multiple times gives it more time to dry and increases your chances of a bad pickup
@@nailandcraftstudio….Wow!!! This is a very smart and creative idea!!!! Your nails in the video are sooo pretty!!!! Will this work on long natural nails? And could you do a video on HOW TO PUT ON RHINESTONES?
I love this, I’m gonna have to try this out. A little tip is to move the stamper side to side when picking up designs, instead of pushing straight down. This will pick up the design a lot better. 😁
I realize this is an older video but it was very helpful to me since I am just getting into stamping. Ty so much for an informative and easy to understand video.
Omg I love this so much! Beautiful! Just started getting into stamping and looking for inspo. This is the best beauty video I've seen in a very long time. Thank you for this! And you saved me a ton of money because I did NOT want to purchase a bunch of colors.
My fave combo was the first one, the Malibu sunset one. It's so beautiful!! 😊 what an incredibly creative mind u have to mix eye shadows on your nails! ❤
Thank you for sharing this video and showing us different ways to stamp. I enjoyed watching. 🙂You did very well. As it is your first time stamping. The colours you created was fantastic.
Thank you so much for this great idea! I have so many sharpies. This made it so much easier to just shade in a little color here and there where I want it, instead of trying to dab drops of color with paint!! I just go back over with a clear coat, instead of the white if I want those exact colors to come through. But honestly I do like the effects of the white also. BTW Nice call on the Lisa Frank design❣️. 😄
I have a lot of alcohol and water based markers (not sharpies) I use for other art projects so I think I will try those and see how it goes. Thank you for the tutorial!
omg I absolutely love that so much thank u I would have never thought of that I actually love that one I have it and I've alone been able to make it all one color u made it completely new and I love it thank u so much I'm so thankful to u for ur awesomeness
They came out great but I think it would be even better if you used black stamping polish for the black nails and flood the polish at the top of the design and scrape just once. That way you don’t “mix” the sharpie with the polish. But such a clever technique thank you for sharing it with us!
Good job this looks like it could be a game changer for me because I’m terrified of doing stamping and I thought it was sort of dull to have everything just one color so I’ll have to give this a try thank you so much new subscriber here

Hi, and thanks for nice video! Earlier today I found myself using too much time with the lint roller on the stamping head ( removing excess motif), so I turned to my scraping card instead, and that worked WAY better for me 8)
Cool sharpie nails. Interesting idea, I do feel like doing that once in a while would be fun, however if you did it a lot the etching my tear away at the sharpie tip. Would this be cheaper than stamping polish? Thanx for the video.
Loving all your tips! ❤ You can purchase smaller lint rollers! Where there are imperfections, that's what all the embellishing jewels, stones...are for!
Would you be able to treat a design like a coloring book and draw with the sharpies inside the lines? Or would swiping off the excess end up smearing the colors together?
