Andrew coming in clutch with the perfect face cam attendance.
only spam comments smh
I'm convinced this podcast is just Huggy with three AIs.
@@ScottCalvinsClause Huggbees and the three GPTs lol.
@@BrahmaDBA honestly wouldn’t put it past them to do that
Andrew has had his cam off plenty of times
Honestly I really appreciate the fact that Andrew records his video most episodes. I know it's not supposed to be a vidcast or anything, but for me it's great being able to see the boys reactions and actual moving talking faces
Agreed, i kinda miss the older episodes where they were way more consistent with all having their cams on
Why the fuck aren’t they more consistent with having their face cams on?
are you really sitting here watching his face for an hour straight? why not do literally anything else? i dont get it.
@@vodkawhisperer3923 on and off
As an infrequent listener, it is nice to see a distinction from who is talking. As I am only really familiar with Charlie.
Charlie is one happy man he was smiling for 1 hour straight
Fax
@@p-__ wtf am i supposed to do with that information
ikr
@DontReadMyProfilePicture.4 Ok i wont
i'm the 70th like
“You yearn to agree with me” sounds like a line from a boss fight.
All it needs is “Child of man, you yearn to agree with me”
How did I know that was a Kaya quote before he said it lmao
Charlie: “How can Velma find any success and get a Season 2?”
Also Charlie: Literally unable to stop talking about Velma.
That's why I wish people would stop giving it attention, the show's doing exactly what it intended: get people talking.
@@aarowtheblacksmith789 people just want validation.
@@aarowtheblacksmith789 One man’s “I don’t like Velma” is another hundred influencers making a video called “I watched Velma so you don’t have to”
andrew's face cam attendance is nuts
Wow Charlie really seems happy this episode
The replies 😂😂😂
Also, yes.
@Don't Read My Profile Picture Ok I won't
"I walked to the couch so I'm an athlete" has some real "I typed a prompt so I'm an artist" energy.
This is so weird since I took a class last semester called “What is art?” at UNC Chapel Hill. I learned a bunch about the subject of art and the ever changing definition of it. Also the importance/consequences of a definition of art. Going to save this podcast for later when I have time :)
That is pretty interesting.
Watch a documentary called "Why Beauty Matters" about art. It will change your outlook forever
Be warned Kaya has a terrible take and refuses to see or understand Andrew or jacksons point.
I kinda liked PhilosophyTubes video on art ngl
@@Inebriated_Goat As usual
I love how long you guys have kept the podcast going, it’s my favorite thing to listen too when I get off work.
"Your soul yearns to agree with me" is such a banger line I'm using that
Schlong
Charlie smiled at every joke
We are slowly reverting back to an audio only podcast
Another great video about art is “Who’s Afraid of Modern Art” by Jacob Geller. If any other art fans are interested in the topic.
I'm surprised someone in this comments section recommended that video. One of my favorites when it comes to this subject.
And I will recommend "why beauty matters" documentary on the subject
At exactly 1 hour, Andrew describes the exact same reason why Jackson plays the Assassin's Creed game but for Death Stranding lmao. Idk if they address it, I'm still listening
Edit: ten minutes later Kaya describes the pilot episode of Smiling Friends almost word for word to prevent euthanasia
Sooooo true man. Andrew with that L take being a hypocrite
Not the same at all LOL Andrew said he enjoys the story and the lore and artistic aspects of Death Stranding meanwhilr Jackson said he doesn't enjoy ANYTHING about new AC games including story but still completes them. That's the difference
@@Omar_E11 oh yeah 🤔 good point, but he still likes to shit on other people's opinions alot of the time as if his is right, like how jackson likes dinosaurs. That's a better comparison i suppose with his death stranding take
Has anyone ever counted how many episodes Charlie ends with "ok lets wrap up I gotta piss"
47
@@nothanks9503 48
All of them.
Andrew I appreciate you being the one guy who consistently turns his Webcam on. I love you, dude
32:38 this is one of the funniest moments in Official Podcast history Jackson's absolute bewilderment at that was so funny to me.
@PENGUINZ_000................2holy shit! It's Charlie! Wow and he's giving free prizes? What a cool guy
I like how Jackson asks what happened in his own house
as a Scooby Doo fan for at least 10 years, seeing the mystery gang like this is upsetting lol
Art is a Ripe Banana Duct-Taped to a Flawless White Wall
My favourite art piece is called "two earthlings" its a drawing of someone looking at a dinosaur skull in a museum
I love jackson's comments/responses to everything in this ep lol
He's always a genius
i always have. my man Jack is super underrated. he could become an extremely successful streamer if he was motivated to
I just wanna say, you guys have the most EPIC intro to a podcast ever. Like holy crap. I feel like some serious titanically huge shit is about to go down whenever I hear it.
shoutout to Huggbeez, providing 100% of the movement this episode
I was going crazy wondering if I had missed the podcast over the weekend
Yeah they’re never consistent with episode release dates anymore, no idea why it’s just editing audio
On the Velocicoaster bit, Andrew's body literally suffers a stress attack and then undergoes euphoria as he survives the coaster
My Monday is saved. I usually listen to this podcast at my desk every Monday morning to help me get through it.(Don't worry, I work from home)
Never thought id see Charlie smiling while talking about the show Velma
Just a reminder to Charlie that he forgot to make the top 5 best games of the year for the moisties
No he didn't it's right there on his page
@@Bassmasterwitacaster nah it isn't
I always love Andrew's ad reads
Art is critical, art is moist
@YeaMan you learned to write page!
@@Probigask spelling story arc completed!
GEt your cameras working, feels like an AM radio station
Go back to episodes around 100-150. Still love the show but it was outrageously hilarious in that era
“Art is anything you can get away with.” -Andy Warhol.
If I rob a bank and call that art, can I escape then?
@@RemiFluneIsEternal only if you're an escape artist.
Kaya and jackson never turn on their cameras, now charlie. Im starting to think everybody is dead and andrew just runs recordings of the boys through his mixer lmao
I’d consider myself a hobby artist, and I learn about what art is every day. It’s both, something you can read the definition of, but also something you need to experience and form your own opinion of to have somewhat of a decent understanding of. (And this doesn’t have to be a higher-order mind process. Kids do it all the time.) And the opinion part is where all of the turmoil is, as represented in this video. At the end of the day, it literally doesn’t matter. I could have mastery of every human language to have ever existed and still could not properly convey how little it even matters. Just look at the banana on the wall, feel a tingle in your stomach, maybe that green car becomes a bit more vibrant as a result, and off you go. Maybe you hear a new song, maybe it gives you an incredibly deep moment of introspection, or maybe you hit skip. It’s literally just whatever
the one man who is a professional statue is the only one with his face cam on
Honstly I still play call of duty cold War and vanguard and I love them and the new one is just as amazing me and my buddy's swap between the 3 all the time and the player base is still hype for them all, we even go back to cod wourld at War from time to time, over all its just hype and feels like a humble player base across them all for the most part and that is so refreshing, such a good podcast guys !! Thank you guys !!
The difference between what is art and what isn't art all comes down to the creativity behind it. Like a towel ist art but once you add creativity to it it becomes art
Bunch of BS your post is. How do you even define creativity?
@@mip4422 well obviously your not creative at all but creativity is an idea from the imagination that can become something
@@stoned5698 by that vague definition anything can be creative. Think you need to lay off those mushrooms.
@@mip4422 no not every thing?? Like there is nothing creative about painting a canvas all one color
TBH I love never knowing what day these boys drop the episode, at this point it feels like a whacky gacha and we get that SSR when the episode drops. Took me years to find Charlie but it's been a year and besides trash taste there's just nobody else who cracks me the fuck up while relating to each of you in different aspects 🤣 Stopped watching bad friends and the LA podcast scene and now it's trash taste and my official lads ❤️ felt like typing this during my run watching the new ep trying to catch my breath from running and you guys making me die from laughter. Besides the bots this community is fucking golden and let's stay whacky
Man Andrews last joke was Dark as hell. 🤣🤣
i would say nearly everything man made is a form of art, from science experiments, to cars, to code it can all be considered art in someones eyes
art is just something artificially made that makes you feel something
Every time I look at the screen and see Charlie smiling I think his audio is broken but he looks so happy so I just smile and forget
Thank you Huggbees for informing me about penny-related villainy and also being something handsome to look at during the podcast
The discussion about art reminded me of the poem "Style" by Bukowski.
All these years and people still comment about the static image like they're the king of comedy
And their videos would have cut out when they disconnected so they're doing us a favor out of anything! This is meant to be an audio podcast! Stop complaining people!
I've been playing so much Enter the Gungeon, that the thumbnail made me think it was an in game item.
Enter the Gungeon ❤ masterpiece ❤
"If this is art, than everything is art. And if everything is art, than nothing is art."
- Kaya Orsan
Everything and nothing are antonymous. Just because you dislike a piece of art doesn’t mean it isn’t art. Art is nothing and art is everything at the the same time. Art just is
@@Acid_Eater A definition is a statement of a meaning of a word. Your definition of the concept of art lacks any meaning whatsoever, and does so deliberately, so it is not only a bad definition, it fails to satisfy the preconditions of a definition.
@@failedabortion1894 thanks for being honest about yourself with your username. Also, art is the expression of human imagination. It isn’t confined to a single definition. Not like you’d understand the definition of such a term.
Kaya needs to see Prehistoric Planet asap
That intro music goes hard AF
I think art doesn’t just require intent but also skill for something to be art it has to be something not everyone could make or do easily as well as having inherent and intentional meaning
No, art is expression, it isn't related to skill.
@@MochaRitz skill is definitely a factor of what separates art from none art and even good art from bad art, something that requires no skill and no effort isn’t art something that requires no skill but some effort is bad art.
Art is an explosion
For the ancient Roman and Greek statue coloring the reproductions that became viral used just the pure pigments from their traces on the statues and just blocked those colors on without any shading or highlighting to contrast against the (Renaissance Italian interpretation) Classical view of the pure white marble (which are copies of bronze originals). It is very likely that the artists who painted them knew how to properly use paints to express volume and wouldn't have left them painted in such a basic way.
A framed picture of goatsie is the highest class art.
only if you duplicate it into 4 squares and have each one be a different color
Jackson predicted Apex I’m pretty sure
Saul Goodman is art
Jackson trying his hardest not to say he liked Velma
It's only modern art if you can perform major tax evasion on it.
This Charlie guy most smile often as i see
That statue looks like it should be a dark souls enemy.
1:10:45 Kaya just described episode 1 of Smiling friends lmao
Man Jackson puts a bad name for us aussies, as bright as a white crayon my god.
Art is Jackson Pollock
Banana on the wall was a dude who put it on the wall in a random gallery and took pics of people loving it as a joke art piece
i can get on kaya's side here, like you can't just go "hey here's my new vest i hand tailored professionally by removing the sleeves of a jacket" and call yourself a vest maker. you can be a "creative person with a message" and not be an artist
Why is this stance always paired with a nonsensical strawman? Tailoring a jacket isn't a pursuit defined by expression, it's not the same at all. Art IS expression.
Always wondered who the types of people who thought those repetitive Batman capeshit games were good were. This makes perfect sense.
WOOHOO, Time for another banger :D
art is something that makes life more interesting than art.
I love how super kid YT nostalgia of Aid vibes that intro gave me.
👌👌👌
Ah I see it's Kaya in the crosshairs of the stupid beam this week
Charlie: well games are like $70 now
Me (2012): Hey dad can I get this game?
My dad: No it's like 70 dollars
Best day of the week, official podcast day baby
I really enjoyed death stranding basically for the same reasons but I did enjoy the game play to the point where I didn’t hate it or was always bored. Sometimes it got intense because I’d always overload myself and be busy doing a balancing act the whole way while not dying
Where can I see this "Waterfalls 1-3?" I don't know where to look.
My shit is art from the wise man’s perspective
I will paraphrase a quote from the musician Mark Applebaum: "At a certain point, the question 'But is it art?' instead becomes 'But is it interesting?'."
With that in mind, I would argue a banana taped to the wall isn't art because it isn't _interesting._
All bots below this comment think a banana taped to the wall is "high arte"
Guys this is the first time I've listened to the entire podcast intro
Is your attention span really that short
@@dex3625 Yeah!
I’ve been in a binge I’ve watched at least 50 ep in the last week
Andrew I have seen Mr. Pointy and I also fucking love him and all the artists' work
Gets better and better
If the intent of art doesn't matter, then art doesn't exist. There is no art without intent.
Silly Andrew doesnt realize that he isn't allowed to like Death Stranding. You aren't allowed to have your own tastes and preferences; if someone dislikes something so do you.
Art can be anything... It just has to be Passionate enough to reach that potential.
*art can be anything
FTFY
Incorrect. Art is the application of human imagination. Even soulless art made without passion is still art.
Art is what makes you go “wow”
No, that's just good art. Quality doesn't define whether something is art or not.
Can someone link that piss art, I can't find it
Have you found it yet?
Charie was the inspiration for the King James interpretation of Jesus.
Eilrahc: No we can’t talk about fit bod 27:32
Anything can be art, but only few can be a masterpiece
And people making recolors, redesigned or reused assets can be called bad art
If I take a shit on a piece of paper but my intent was to finger paint a smiley face with it, am I an artist?
The statue should be a piece to remember Martin Luther King and not a hug. I'm on Kaya's side here! Because invested energy, concentration, emotion and experience is worth more, than just some crazy ideas...
Andrew: can we talk about fit bod?
TH-cam: (immediately plays McDonald’s add)
