      @artonthecreek Unfortunately, there is no gorgonzola where I live. Also, I don't like gorgonzola and roqfourt and Stilton and such cheeses... but my sister might like it. They do look delicious, though. I was salivating just watching you make them. Is the gorgonzola strong in these cookies?

      That’s a hard question-I like Gorgonzola so to me, it tastes as it should if that makes sense. I see no reason why you couldn’t use another cheese that you like-cream cheese should work, or a goat cheese-even cheddar or Parmesan. Truly, you can use whatever cheese you like.
      That’s what I love about this recipe-it’s really easy to adapt to your personal tastes!

      @@artonthecreekI was just struck by the thought of Wensleydale cheese as the perfect substitute - there is also a version with cranberry throughout too… You have just broken your friend Ann, all I can think of are those cookies. I have never wished for smelly vision so much in all my life! 😂

    Made these cheese/fig treats tonight and omgoodness, they are amazing! The Gorgonzola cheese was on sale at my grocery store and almost sold out with only two containers left. Thank you so much for sharing the link to the recipe!

    Well, hello Phil and Ann!! Those look amazing, and so much more delicious than your description of them. I am not a Gorgonzola fan, what do you think I could swap that out for? A list of possibles would be great. The look on your faces, coupled with the moaning eye rolls made me grin. And now, I have no choice but to go and find something tasty to eat as it’s dinner time. Back later this evening (it’s almost 5pm) for yet another catch up of (insert Coven/cauldron name) aka your videos! 😉😊👩🏻‍🎨🖌️🎨🫶🏻🫶🏻

      @@anitadavidson1266 thanks Anita! Honestly, you could stack any cheese you like 6’ high and up to no good (🥰) and use that instead! You may have to adjust the flour and maybe add ice water by the tablespoon if the dough seems too dry…any cheese should work as long as it forms as a pastry dough☺️
