Wow - what a strange and unusual synthesizer this WASP is! It´s kind of a weird thing in its own right but it´s great at the same time. It´s an ackward beast of a synth and despite the "weird" factor I still love it. It´s definitely not a classic synth design like we know and expect from the likes of Moog, Oberheim, Sequential or Roland. Nothing like that at all but it can still somehow stand side by side with those amazing vintage legends without having to feel ashamed.
It´s raw, it´s mean, it´s funky, it´s growly, it´s buzzy and waspy, it´s crazy and quirky, it´s very vintage and truly oldchool sounding......and above all it so affordable. Couple of frequents to your local grocery store of money´s worth can get you one of those lovely things. So why not have one for yourself if you are into truly vintage sounding analog synths and can appreciate some of WASP´s super charm and a totally unique character!
