@@ElvishPrinceling yea wouldn’t be surprised if cameraman were literally aiming their camera at a bamboo, in front of Bruce, so Bruce can’t possibly miss it 😂
Although the auction has some unnecessary twists, I still think that any auction is better than no auction and I hope that it becomes a seasonal/semi seasonal thing like it was before worlds apart.
Jeff cutting a hole in the bag was awesome! Loving this supervillain Jeff. And so thrilled the auction was back, and it was nice for them to try out some new things with it. I hope they keep it around next season!
Crazy episode! Auction was alot of fun. My heart broke when Kellie was voted out!! She was easily one of favs. Emily and the Reba tribe have alot of power right now. I think they're get 1 or 2 Bello out then turn on each using Emily as the split
Best item was absolutely the charcuterie board! Loved that the auction is back and for the most parts love all the twists involved in it. I totally understand the downside where we lose out of true bidding wars because those afraid of losing their vote because they have the most money can just drop it all at once, get one item of food, and be safe which we saw multiple times. Having an auction is better than no auction. Love when the players can have fun at something and show those kinds of emotions.
NEW SUBSCRIBER!!! Rang that bell as soon as I came upon your video! My favorite item would be Dee's milkshake. Was at first shocked and then later loved that "Jeff Probst becomes a villain" bit. Incentive for sure! When the auction was over I was like 'watch Bruce win individual immunity' to my laptop I watch Survivor episodes on.
Jake accidentally slipping "if i pull my... i mean, if i pull out an idol." at tribal. Whether it was intentional or not, thats one of the single greatest pieces of social manipulation ive seen in New era survivor. Its almost my favourite moment at a tribal council since Todd shut down JR in China. It was soooo clever, and my respect for his game just shot up!
The one problem I had with the auction was how the contestants had NO clue about the lose-a-vote twist. The only way I see the risk working is if Jeff pulls TWO rocks, one for the number of items and one for the disadvantage. Just say “There might be a disadvantage in this auction, no advantages” and if the disadvantage rock is later than the last item rock, there’s no lose-a-vote. That will keep bidding wars going and have slight paranoia for covered items, even if it’s all food.
I'm taking the PBJ and margarita over the wine and cheese any day. Interesting how we got an impromptu gross food challenge via Austin. Those fish eyes were so disgusting, I couldn't look.🤗
I really wish they hadn't told us that the auction was back in the preview last week :( It would have been so much more fun to try to guess along with the cast what was happening, but instead they just told us, so it was super anticlimactic to have to just... wait around to be told what we already knew I *do* like the way they did the money though, with the different amounts in the tubes, and having to retrieve them, even if Bruce was screwed coming and going with only $80. He was never gonna win anything with only $80, and that's just enough for everyone else to dump their cash off and stick him with the vote loss. And the no advantages is great, it means folks will ACTUALLY participate in the auction, tho I agree the lack of bidding wars was kind of disappointing too. Also my nitpick for Probst: TOOTHPASTE/MOUTHWASH ISN'T A FOOD ITEM x3
This auction plus the supposed twist next episode remind me of aussie survivor, how producers try to shove so many weird twists that we hardly recognize survivor
the auction being in the preview last week really destroyed the hype for this week for me :/ like what was the point of just telling us outright, instead of letting us wonder what was coming there was no anticipation!!
I think Drew was brought up as a possible target but got shut down. Kellie tried to target Drew in the split double tribal, but without Bruce’s vote and with Jake so paranoid, her hands were tied. The only way she could make a red-tribe elimination work would be by somehow convincing Jake to vote, AND Katurah+Emily to flip. Katurah, Emily, and Kendra were smart to not attempt this without confirmation of Jake voting, as they are now in a more powerful swing position unless ANOTHER lose-a-vote comes up.
Okay did anyone else see that Kellie didn’t even get to finish her sandwich and margarita before they had to leave?? Hers was the last and then Jeff says okay leave the food and go. ?!? That’s not fair to someone who night the food last. It just is weird to me that’s they won’t let them finish it
@@ElvishPrinceling yes I agree about the cake! But everything else was so weird to me. Just let them finish the food they bet on! Kellie barely got to eat or drink hers. Some of the others also didn’t get to finish their food either. Ugh I made me so mad
Saw an interview with Kellie. There was a plan to go after Austin but with Bruce losing his vote and Jake clearly going to lose his playing the shot in the dark (which Kellie says in the interview) she knew she couldn’t realistically do it with only three votes: katirah Kendra herself. So there was a plan but it was not shown
here my solution to the auction 3.0 have there be less variance in the amount of money in each tube like maybe tubes can only have 75, 100, or 125, this will potentially encourage more bidding wars due to it being more likely for two people to have the same amount of money hide a good will advantage in one of the tubes, this rewards the player who finds it with the freedom to not worry about how much money they have keep it where the person with the most money at the end of the auction, if you have less money its harder to get rid of that money so this punishes players for being lazy like bruce was have it guaranteed to be a little longer than its currently guaranteed to be and finally include letters from home
Jeff knifing the bag of rice has to be the coldest thing he’s done in the new era.
I'm here for it though! It ended the drama quick😂
YESSSS
Austin not getting the sandwich at the survivor auction is criminal
I find it a bit ironic that if Bruce didn’t find a single bamboo shoot, he would have been better off in this auction with no money to spend 😂
I'm gonna guess that the producers would not have let any of them go in without money, bc that would've fcked up the entire twist.

Sad Kellie is gone. Happy that Emily is the swing vote!
My favourite food item has to be the humongous fish eyes that cost 100$ 🤣🤣🤣
Emily's charcuterie plate was my favorite.

Also, Jeff said that if you quit you don’t get your torch snuffed! Great and smart move👏🏾👏🏾
My favorite auction item was the fish eyes. I loved it when Austin ate part of one and everyone was gagging. 😂😂😂

Kellie getting blindsided was crazy

The charcuterie for Emily was def the best one! I teared up when she fell to the ground, it was so well deserved.
Still can’t get over Jeff stabbing the bag of rice with the knife to ‘motivate’ the castaways, what a power move
I'm taking the PBJ and margarita over the wine and cheese any day. Interesting how we got an impromptu gross food challenge via Austin. Those fish eyes were so disgusting, I couldn't look.🤗
that chocolate cake looked so good
Such a fun episode.
Favorite item was the food plate that drew out Emily’s reaction
Margarita as the favorite! especially when they called it out
BRUCE!!!!
Honestly I love New Era auction
sheer brilliance episode with the auction & gameplays tho but shocking blindside what the hell guys

Definitely the fish eyeballs!

Yeah buddy!! :)
Favorite food item were the fries and coke!! Only thing missing was some chicken!!!
Jeff Probst is a menace
This episode was so entertaining, I see infamous Fijian pizza reared it's head again!
Definitely the fries and ketchup with the coke. Need some yummy
Favourite Auction food item Charcuterie board Emily got
Shout out to all the 420 references
out of all these prolly the charcuterie board or the pbj - fat goes longer

the cake would've made sense as the last item, since it was timed

No advantages in the auction was unexpected, but welcome
Jake needs to win and Reba needs to finally be targetted.
Not everyone did their max bid at the auction ... the did bid for some things.
here my solution to the auction 3.0

Notice me Russell I'm a fellow Canuck like you
Red players weren't targeted because red's been more unified than blue. (duh)
Bro. You picked salami over chocolate cake? TF?
Chocolate cake all day
You are wrong about the punishment.
Kelly will be bitter I’m predicting.
