Q did nothing wrong by not bringing Liz, rewards are meant to be bartering chips to further that persons game, the human in me would want to help liz but the player says that her being out here was her choice and she knew she couldn't eat anything from my perspective he was trying to shore up an alliance and bringing someone who has been clear she will never work with him is a waste
Hot take 2, liz wasnt going to win but this just blew up any chance of her game, she was stamping her feet and screaming like a spoiled child.... I GET THAT SHE HAS BEEN STARVED but she came out here she knew what was up...this was a bad look and i kind of hope they mercy put her on the jury next....

Hot take 3: Jeff was 100% wrong for saying “Liz, you have nothing to apologize for” after her blowup. I’m sorry, but if I was standing there I’d speak up and say “Probst, you’re almost always correct, but in this case you’re dead wrong. You an adult Liz- if you scream at someone, stomp your feet, and essentially throw a temper tantrum, all because someone didn’t pick you to go to Applebee’s, you absolutely owe that person an apology. You don’t have the right to scream at someone, put them down, and treat them like they’re underneath you… if a man would’ve done that to a woman, Jeff would be admonishing those actions for episodes to come, regardless of any apologizing. You’re an adult Liz, when you disrespect someone, treat them worse than a dog, and make a fool of yourself on national tv, apologies are MOST CERTAINLY in order”.
@@davidwindellIt’s easy to say that as an outsider looking in but the human body doesn’t react well to being without nutrition and calories. Liz absolutely reacted poorly, and Q wasn’t obligated to bring her, but she reacted in a way that almost anyone would if they barely ate for those 18 days, begged for a spot at SOMETHING they could eat, and not only got declined but had the winner of the challenge decline a swap. If Liz could eat coconut and fruit but chose not to because she didn’t like them, I’d be completely on your side, but I think that Liz is getting a lot more hate than she deserves giving the specific circumstances.
And I’m just making it completely clear - I don’t condone her tearing Q a new one and reacting in the way that she did, but given the extreme circumstances of the situation, I understand the reaction so I don’t think she deserves a ton of hate. It’s why I think that apologizing is the right thing to do but I wouldn’t expect it immediately after the outburst, and someone trying to talk her down then and there while demanding an apology would probably lead to me verbally tearing into that person.
She didn't blow up her chances, everybody understands her that's present. It's only strategically she blew up her game. Q may have considered working with her under the right circumstances for all we know, but now the chances are zero. Liz publicly revealed her resume to all players, that's something you want to hide until the end, because you may have had moves involving groups or individuals that others don't know about but will win you the final 3. Plausible deniability in that sense makes others more willing to work with you, because that's the only way they can find out your resume during the game. To end your hot take 2, why would you want to vote out a player you know you are practically guaranteed to win against?
Still with all of that, she could have recovered into a strong position after tribal if she had told Tiff the exact details of the vote. She would have got out Q, like she wanted. Her value to Siga would go up as she followed through with the vote. Her value with Tiff would go up as she could have chose to had a chance of her going home instead. Tiff would have no motive to inform anybody Liz told her of the vote details. With next tribal she could be a vote for Siga or a vote for Tiff. By the end if she continued playing similarly she would have been a strong middle power player.
@@swaggery I was more referring to her temper tantrum than anything, her behaviour post explosion might have rallied support if not for the fact that she went hard off the deep end (again understandable but wrong play) as I mentioned in my q being a zero vote finalist and having done nothing wrong, it is his reward to give out for social capital as he sees fit
I understand Liz was hungry and tired but she should have held it together, I'm sure she was told multiple times the show can't interfere too heavily to stop her from starving and her coming out without survival skills is stupid
Honestly I don't think she's in the final anyway because it looks like Maria and Charlie are going and I think Maria is dragging q to the end as a goat (which is extremely ironic)
Imo, Q blew up his shot at winning way harder than Liz with all of this situation.
Q will be a 0 vote finalist 100% and he will be carried to the finale just because of that.
Am I the only one who thinks Q is fine for not talking Liz. He won the challenge he gets to choose he ask didn’t get voted out when he was a clear vote off 🤷♂️🤷♂️

Liz shouldn’t have applied for survivor and producers shouldn’t have cast her. Her food allergies should have been treated as a disqualifying medical problem. I don’t blame her for her outburst, I can’t imagine starving for 18 days. But I wouldn’t have gone on survivor if I had so many food allergies
She has eaten but not much you are right though she shouldn't come and the individual rice felt like production helping her a little

What concerned me was her behaviour became explosive and unpredictable, I think they did it because we almost had a Brandon hantz style meltdown on our hands
@@sockmonkeyjgI mean if she literally collapsed or something and got medically evacuated for starvation, survivor will get a lot of bad press for being a dangerous show. So I get why producers thought they had to intervene. Reminds me of hunger games, how producers arbitrarily insert items into the game
I've always wonder about how they handled food allergies with Survivor so I guess it doesn't factored as long as i r able to eat something out there
Q is not a villain for what he did.
Q won the challenge fair and square, if Liz wanted the reward, just win. It's not the responsability of the tribe to manage Liz's allergies.
She threw a tamper tantrum like a spoiled child.
And they all were ready to give in to her. She got rewarded for bad behavior with rice.
@@jeffmcrobbie5015 well, Kenzie, Tiff and Maria didn't offer their spots on the reward. I thought Kenzie would and it looked like she wanted to say something, but after the tantrum, I can understand no one wanted to give thwir spots
Kenzie and Maria actually offered to swap spots and Q refused to let them which Jeff also allowed.
I find it hard to be too harsh on Liz considering she’s been starving for 3 weeks and can’t even eat other rewards she’s won. I can see the frustration and it’s not like Tiffany was gonna forgive Q anyways
@@XanderMatthews-nv9zf Well, I missed that part about Maria and Kenzie, so my bad on this one.
But still, my problem with Liz is her "kidult" attitude. The shouting and crying about how Q messed up her game. Just come on, you just told you watch Survivor every Wednesday so you know everyone plays their own game to the detriment of another player's game. Things were not going her way and she acted like a child and it's not the first time, she acted in a similar way when Soda was voted out and with the Tevin vote too.
And she knew what she was getting into, that with her allergies it would be harder when it comes to food. She cannot put that responsability on the other tribe members that she can't eat anything.
I would understand if she cried and was unhappy with Q's choices, but to act like that? Nah, I lost my respect for her as a player.
Every other player on the cast would have picked Liz, and tried to switch with her and they wouldn't let them. He if he didn't pick her because her voted for him after he completely alienated himself from the entire cast is super petty. The person in him who been starving with this woman for weeks should have picked her. I am not against people being villainous on survivor, but this was without a doubt villainous behavior
i think charlie is the best player so far and has made good decisions.
im mixed on liz’s reaction, while it is kind if unfair that Q shouldve maybe picked her, and he sort of rubbed it in her face and ruined he game, she did vote for him, and its his decision
For me, Maria is the best player I would’ve said Charlie if he had a bigger role this episode, but Maria ran this week
Maria ran THIS week, but she's also been pretty invisible in many episodes and has one of the lowest confessional counts overall. The edit has been far more interested in Charlie between the two of them... so if she goes farther than him, it will be a clear case of them hiding her on purpose to make her place in the endgame less obvious. But Charlie is clever, and if he's smart, he'll now use Maria making the move on Tiff as the reason Maria is a threat, thus eliminating his number one. He said from the beginning of the episode he wanted Tiff out too, and he worked to shape those conversations, but publicly he was fine with it being Maria's move. Potentially a super smart decision on his part.
Accusing Q would steal her rice is wild! He’s a whackadoodle not a villain 😆
BIG MISTAKE
I don’t think Q and Liz are in the wrong at all. Q has a right to bring whoever he wants to and Liz has the right to feel frustration and be upset. Perhaps Liz shouldn’t have reacted as hugely as she did but we’re all human and she apologized for it. Now if I was Q, I’d have to take Liz lol I couldn’t do that to her.
You aren’t missing much with Applebees. Outback and Texas Roadhouse is so much better. I’ve had issues with Applebees.
imagine if the final 3 is Q, Liz, and Venus. I wonder who would win that.
Considering everybody still has moves to make, I think Venus. She just has to be part of a plan and put in work to make it happen once. Others will be much more willing to work with her as the players dwindle. If they all hate their games, and vote for their personal situations, you got a rich real estate agent, a rich entrepreneur, or a young adult that wants to get into law school. Pretty obvious vote for the personal situations vote. I don't think most of the players hate her either, they just hate how she communicates. Where as Q and Liz are a bit easier to hate as people.
That would be crazy but they keep voting out all the big players so who knows!? Out of those three I'd probably pick Venus which sounds crazy LOL

I just can't with Applebee's. It makes me laugh every time. Day 20 without food and you get the most diarrhea inducing food of all time and alcohol, just sounds awful. No one loves Applebee's, why do people lie.
I’d say both Charlie and Mariah seem to be the forerunners but I could be wrong. However Q is either super smart or just lucky. lol

For me, Charlie is slighty over Kenzie and Maria in term of who os the best player.
2 immunity wins, smart and low threat level. Q is helping a lot with all the attention he gets, but Charlie is pretty smart in his way of playing.
I had 5 favourites since the beginning of the season: Soda, Tevin, Hunter, Tiff and Kenzie and 4 of my favs were voted off by a massive blindside and I was sure that hunter would win.. Now only one favourite left, I think kenzie blindside is coming 😂what a great season btw, blindsides every tribal, liz goes crazy, maria evolves into a villian and steals kenzies move, Q is dilusional, charlie challenge master, anyone who goes with Q and Venus to final tribal wins for sure, by far best season of new era, we are eating good guys, now bring back 39 days and live tribal pleaseeee
3 serious contenders to win when home in a row! I gotta say Charlie or Maria are most likely to win. Maybe McKenzie. If Charlie and Maria don't make it a final three we could end up with a whole lot of mid players at the end LOL

I still believe Kenzie and Ben will reunite along with Venus and Liz, and will still have the majority. Rooting for Mermaid-Dragon Kenzie!
at first I thought Q was the bad guy for not taking liz, then I came to the realization it's not up to him to feed her
Maria’s playing the best, Kenzie’s a sitting duck, Charlie is getting a good edit but I don’t find his game particularly impressive.
The urge to build survivor resume is what will get Q to the end.
I think the Siga's dethroned Kenzie's chances this week. She was an early favorite and her social game remains top notch, but leaving her out of her own big move is hugely deflating to her story. More interestingly, Maria seemingly ran this week, but she's also been pretty invisible in many episodes and has one of the lowest confessional counts overall. The strategy of "letting other people make your move so they can be a shield later" is not employed often enough and not spoken of in FTC. I think it's Charlie's play here.

I love Tiff and I was pissed she didn't play her Idol. This is the Jury for Blindsides
Charlie and Maria are my favorites for sure, but for the first time in a long time of watching Survivor the clear top dog is not evident at this point in the season. Seems to be changing from week to week and that is probably due to editing but they are doing a great job keeping me on my toes. Q did nothing wrong and is playing the game and Liz felt she was privileged to the reward. When you went on the show you knew, and the Producers knew you were allergic to everything natural from the island. That is on you and not on others to cater to you and your needs.

I mean Ben does nothing, i like him as a person and his kindness but dude do something, dont hide behind maria and charlie, if those 3 ended up in the final tribal, Ben is the zero vote finalist for sure, if i was on this season, i would do anything to go to the final tribal with Q and Venus, nobody likes them and this would be an easy way to win this game, even liz would have won if she was up there with those 2..

Bruh, you are too easy on Liz. It wasn’t Q’s duty to give her a spot…especially since she has been out to eliminate him for a few weeks now. And the people chosen shouldn’t be able to give up their spots, because then it is their move and he may as well have chosen the people chosen by the people that he chose 😂 it is his reward, therefore he chooses who comes; and how was he supposed to know that making the move at that tribal council would “screw up Liz’s game.” That is survivor for you. Adapt. It’s a game for a million dollars. It ain’t gonna be easy. And I love how they said last tribal that Q was causing chaos again, when he was just chillin the entire time and has been ever since he offered to quit. Not to mention Liz knew it would be difficult with her inability to consume most food items out there…so she can’t be pissed when someone doesn’t submit to her guilt trip…
I hope Q wins. He is everything I wanted Philip Shepherd, special agent, to be. Despite what people say; I think a good FTC could win it for him.

What Q did does not make him a villain.. 😂😂 Liz DID overreact, it’s pretty simple, very embarrassing on her part. I guarantee you she would have still not worked with Q even if he did bring her. She has a little kid tantrum especially when she lost it and said she didn’t even want to be around any of them anymore, and when she kept crying about Q ruining her game by just playing his own game. Pure baby tears, treat her like the grown woman that she is.

She knew the risks and chose to be out there, you can't play the game hoping that people will choose you for rewards because of mercy......

@@freddytang2128 I never said she was a crybaby, it is extremely impressive that she has gone this long since eating but again she came out to it, they would have made it clear that she would have not been able to eat anything and they can't make exceptions for her
