I can admit that at 250lbs & 5’4 my period was irregular at age 26 that was enough to push me into getting into fitness and at age 31 I finally lost the 85lbs. It was hard and I had to do it for me but I can say it was so worth it and I went from invisible to being seen. I’m still not a 100 mindset wise when it comes to dating but I still have the desire of being a mother. If your actions don’t align with your desire it’s just a wish not a plan.

Was 250 and lost 150 naturally. I have kept it off for over 7 years now and I don’t regret it! I feel good look good and I’m glad I did dedicate myself to working out 5 times a week and eating healthy! No better feeling

Which is actually a huge red flag in itself. Not always, but I guess in psychology it’s quite commonly known that the voice tone stops developing at the age they were abused, usually by family. Hope this didn’t happen to her but it’s definitely like I said, a red flag of potentially significant concern.
Also it’s common for victims to intentionally become overweight and make themselves as unappealing as possible for obvious reasons, but trying to have a normal relationship later on as adults is obviously affected if this were the case. Creates so many problems down the road, it truly is tragic.

Indian woman. Got to know my first boyfriend and husband at 17. Got engaged in second year of college. Did a double degree. Married after 3 years while holding down a job. Had a baby n took a year and half break. Resumed my career with help from my mother in law looking after baby. Waited till my kid was 10. Did a masters. Kept studying. Migrated to another country. Kept working. Husband took care of kid for a few years. Now kid in college n working in one country. Husband working in another country as an expat. Me in a third as an expat. Family tighter than ever coz we have common life n financial goals. Indian culture really helped. My husband and i had our moments but no violence. But my parents and his always stepped in. Married nearly 25 years. Its possible to achieve all your goals, marriage n career if you marry young, someone who supports you and someone you support (husband was unemployed for a while due to health but he has always managed our money). Both of us look 10 years younger than our age. We prioritise our kid, health, family and saving up for our old age.
