going back to these videos after 863 is finished, we know that during these videos Matt is mind controlled, possibly from right before they confronted Deb. we've seen through Ben that its possible for those under Nelsons's "influence" to push through for moments of time. and we find out later in season 3 that Matt was the one to write on the walls by Nelson in order to direct the team to what he was trying to find. what if the Phrases are not just nelson leading the team on, but Matt also pushing through trying to tell the team what's happening to him and to be careful. I think it's not just 1 person (ghost) I think it's two. The writing patterns are different and they way they talk is too. either it's 2 people or 1 person with two sides (like the phantom they caught one calm and one not so calm side)

I doubt anyone’s going to see this, but I have a theory! It seems like there are two ghosts/entities talking to the team. What if it’s not subjects of Syntec but Wes and Nelson themselves? They’re both trying to get the team to find something, but for different reasons, and the only reason they’re showing up now is because, to quote Matt, ‘Project 863 is dead.’ Nelson and Wes both want to sway the team their side.
It could possibly be Kendal and Wes. Or each message could be a different test subject that died at each base. That could explain why multiple show up in different writing at the same time.

The creepiest thing that happened this video is when they find "What's wrong?" on the wall by the stairs and they all heard footsteps. The next writing they find is "Find me", Idk that just gave me chills. Maybe they heard the person (ghost) walking away from writing the message.
I think it may be wise to check over the camera that was at the location of the mirror. I get the fact it’s facing away from the wall but at 34:40 in the video, I’m unsure, but I believe in the corner, where the camera is facing, is another mirror. I am unsure if this is true or not, can’t really tell in the dark, it could just be a sign or something. But the reason I say this as important, is if the camera is directed at the mirror in the corner, there may be a chance the mirror would reflect the view of the wall, the blind spot of the camera. You might’ve gotten that on recording. This is just a thought, but it may be a good idea.

going back to these videos after 863 is finished, we know that during these videos Matt is mind controlled, possibly from right before they confronted Deb. we've seen through Ben that its possible for those under Nelsons's "influence" to push through for moments of time. and we find out later in season 3 that Matt was the one to write on the walls by Nelson in order to direct the team to what he was trying to find. what if the Phrases are not just nelson leading the team on, but Matt also pushing through trying to tell the team what's happening to him and to be careful. "can you keep a secret" he needs to tell them without Nelson knowing "ur not listening" the others need to listen to what deb is asking them "Help me" Matt needs help to be broken free of nelsons control "whats wrong" could be Nelsons influence coming in or that the others need to find whats wrong with him and is connected to the last one "find me" they need to find the real person in control before the spire "look closer" things are happening from someone within their Team and they need to be careful. as they've said the words all sound really desperate, Matt is desperate that they realize what's going on before things are too late.

I think it's not just 1 person (ghost) I think it's two. The writing patterns are different and they way they talk is too. either it's 2 people or 1 person with two sides (like the phantom they caught one calm and one not so calm side)

My theory is that it's Wes's ghost. His death predates everything's that happened and he died on the property. I wouldn't be surprised if his spirit has been around the whole time and watching and is just now getting involved due to the severed connects with Deb.
I agree that there is at least one ghost and it's Wes, but I also think there are other ghosts because the some of the messages don't seem to be completely connected, maybe other ghosts also need the teams help. I'm just not sure who's ghost it could be...

I don't know how I could bring the messages into this, and my theory is still in the works. I think this is someone we all know too well, and it gave me the chills when I realized it. Where have we seen a ghost before. You may think the past overnight videos, but I'm thinking the grave, that weird paranormal figure at Wes' grave. And I say, "Find me", I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Wes' body was gone from the grave, what if his body was in the studio, implying that we need to find the body. This is a small theory right now, but I truly think this is the route this is taking.

It seems like there are two ghosts/entities talking to the team. What if it’s not subjects of Syntec but Wes and Nelson themselves? They’re both trying to get the team to find something, but for different reasons, and the only reason they’re showing up now is because, to quote Matt, ‘Project 863 is dead.’ Nelson and Wes both want to sway the team their side.
It could possibly be Kendal and Wes. Or each message could be a different test subject that died at each base. That could explain why multiple show up in different writing at the same time.
Good idea however syphus is still alive so how would he create the writtings if it is from "ghosts"

I just realized that they found the words Look Closer on the wall where Hannah said she saw a big shadow when they were spending the night at red base.

I think it may be wise to check over the camera that was at the location of the mirror. I get the fact it’s facing away from the wall but at 34:40 in the video, I’m unsure, but I believe in the corner, where the camera is facing, is another mirror. I am unsure if this is true or not, can’t really tell in the dark, it could just be a sign or something. But the reason I say this as important, is if the camera is directed at the mirror in the corner, there may be a chance the mirror would reflect the view of the wall, the blind spot of the camera. You might’ve gotten that on recording.
This is just a thought, but it may be a good idea.
