"Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe in which the main character slowly goes crazy after killing the old man he lives with and stuffs him under the floorboards. So the body outline under the floorboards, makes sense. I saw someone else point out that the other messages coulod have been from books also which could give clues to other things hidden around the studio.
27:18 Matt: *mockingly* "A crowbar? Have you guys ever removed flooring before? Haha crowbar?" Also Matt: *pulls out Swiss Army Knife to rip out said flooring*
Why hasn't youtube originals asked them yet? I am glad they haven't because I don't have youtube premium but come on! These guys deserve their own series. Hands down the most effort I've ever seen. Hats off to you all!
21:20 the moment they mentioned the fire along with the mention of movements before they died, i thought of the window breaking, it was mentioned that ratical heat change can make glass break. What if the spirit was trying to convey that they were there when the fire happened.
Be careful where you go from here, guys. It’s commonly interpreted that when the madman in The Telltale Heart heard the beating under the floorboards, and thought it was the old man’s heart, it was actually the sound of his own heartbeat…
I agree ... with the reference to 'The Tell-Tale Heart', I now feel that all these 'clues' may not actually be from some forgotten victim, but from the actual assailant, wrought with pain, because they were never able to finish their job --
Perhaps this is the chalk outline of Deb. My theory is that she killed herself, perhaps after killing Wes and not being able to handle the heartbreak, but not before she uploaded part of her consciousness into some kind of AI and that is what the team have been communicating with all of this time. It would make sense then why Deb often talks like a computer...what do you think?
You cant upload your consciousness onto a computer not even an AI program has a human consciousness. I do think someone either died or was almost dead at the time of the outline. Im thinking it was nelson and he is held in somekind of sleep state by Deb to keep his body alive. She has to take care of some things before taking him out and taking over Syntec which has been her goal all along
@@NeelieLladnek well we don't know what's possible in this world 😁 I considered Nelson but the outline was quite small as we saw when Sam lay down on it
@@Ericarothwellunravel also if she were to be a ghost I think she would’ve communicated with them through Paranormal ways, not an Emulator or a Server.
I watch these with headphones, and as they all head to pull the floorboards I started hearing some "heavy" breathing around 29:06. After getting a little creeped out, I realized that it was actually Woods breathing as he was walking up the stairs! 😅🤣
Is anybody else kind of worried about Matt though as much as I think all of us hate the Phantom in a way he's kind of right him and Matt are kind of one of the same I think Matt is just denying it but I'm afraid if he keeps denying it he might actually start going insane or something bad might happen if he doesn't try to change something
"the narrarator hears a dull pounding that he interprets as the old man's terrified heart beat" this instantly made me remember that i actually read this story in middle school aswell, im ashamed of my last year self aswell
Theory: What if all of the writing on the walls are quotes or sayings from books, poems, or stories. Like the writing that is on the wall saying, "Do you fancy me mad" is a reference to the poem from The Tell-Tale Heart from Edgar Allan Poe.
OMG This is a great point. I originally thought it was a reference to The Mad Hatter, but now that you mention it.... could the spirit be haunted by its actions from its time alive? Such as Wes activating the syrem bomb that cause Ben to be injured?
@T I would have said Wes but that wouldn't work, the only person I could think is Deb. Or MaYbE iT wAs ThE gHoStS oF ThE pEoPlE wHo WeRe ExPeRiMeNtEd On. But yeah your definitely right.
Well, apparently I’m now into watching things on TH-cam related to murder (this and Danganronpa, which is basically a game/anime about teenagers being part of a killing game). From what knowledge I do have about murders [thats weird to say] I think the whole body outline should be seen, since there is a foot and hand not shown. Maybe the person who died had something in their hand and that was marked on the floor as well as the body. It might be best to tear up all of the floor boards, because the murder weapon or clues could be hidden under the floor
[WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW] ... unfortunately the ending hinges on a commonly misunderstood trope. Chalk outlines were _NOT_ used to show where a *dead* body finally fell but to indicate where the bodies of victims who were *still living* lay but had to be moved - as in, to the hospital, so they could continue living - before investigators could arrive. There was never a need to outline a corpse simply because that person was already dead and would wait as long as was needed for any photographers and crime-scene investigators to take the necessary time required to do their job properly.
The outline provides context for photographs of the crime scene, and assists investigators in preserving the evidence. Modern investigators almost never use chalk or tape as outlines at a crime scene to avoid contaminating the evidence. While chalk outlines were occasionally used in the past, they often were drawn by the police for press photographers, not for investigative purposes. It allowed the press to take a picture and represent the scene without the gruesomeness of a body. Classically, white or bright yellow chalk is used, although some may use paint or white tape. In the case of a body, a chalk outline might be drawn immediately before the body is to be removed, but after the medical examiner has examined the body
And i think what the team is misinterpreting is that the person responsible for killing that person hid that but have a chalk outline mean that the police had already came and investigated that
Ok the coincidence is very scary for me right now lol. Literally tonight, I just watched my boyfriend and the rest of his drama class do a play where they performed multiple stories from Edgar Allen Poe, one of them being a Tell Tale Heart.
27:51 Sam is partially correct Ghosts/Spirits have unfinished business, like if someone was murdered, their unfinished business would be getting revenge or if someone was r@ped and then murdered and never found, their unfinished business would be them being found
It’s such a coincidence that I’m reading the tell tale heart in school and this whole episode was around that. I personally liked the story, I don’t get creeped out as easy so I didn’t find the story to be horrible. I loved this episode and all the other ones, keep it up!
“There are a lot of people who are upset about this… okay people who don’t care about kids” thanks matt♥️ i was tired of having to remove posts of predators’… you know…
Going off of the team’s theories at the end, what if one of Syntec’s employees (or someone involved with the company in some way) started murdering people. Or, it could have been just a murderer that stumbled upon the company. Said murderer/ crazed employee spray painted the walls, leading others to the sight of their fellow coworker on the ground, dead. The murderer got impatient as the employees couldn’t make sense of the clues on the wall, hence the arrows and the ‘do you fancy me mad.’ The ghost of the victim has been leading you guys to the same point that the murderer led the employees to before. By rewriting/ uncovering the messages, you get to solve the murder that was a shut case before. Look closer to the messages. Murderers usually have a ‘thing’ that they do; something kind of like a signature. What do the messages have in common and what is different about each one? These could add up to form something like an answer. You solved one murder, now let’s solve another.
Great theory I think the writing is linked with Deb but if the outline of a body is in a private room Then doesn't it make sense to think the murder through
"Do you fancy me Mad?" Idk why I imagine this as something out of Alice in Wonderland. Imagine Cheshire saying this with his wide grin and eye that stare at you soul.
Prepared to see a dead body, not prepared for what to do after seeing the body. Also dont forget gloves for investigation Edit: The writing may have been made by the person who died. They were driven to madness by something, possibly serum or all the death around them. They then started to paint messages on the walls before the madness got to them, and later killed someone then themselves. Like the poem said the body was under the floor boards, which is where you found the outline. Maybe the messages that were covered up back then are reappearing now along with clues that might lead other people to madness.
The "Do you fancy me mad?" Reminds me of Alice and Wonderland like Sam said it is very whimsical and it just seems like it'd fit in that story I'm not sure why though.
The whole time they were in that room, I was so worried someone was gonna close the door on them because they had finally been led to the location and were in place for murder
I remember back when all of this started. My theory was that there was a ghost trying to reach out to you to help solve their murder so they could pass on. I’ve since then disregarded that theory. But since the writing appeared I feel as though my original theory may have been correct lol.
Wait what My big question is who could have been murdered in there? We know it's not Wes because he died in the Mountaineer we know Benjamin is the Phantom but I guess it could be him could be syphus as well I mean hey if he's at least dead we ain't got to worry about him physically LOL But saying the outline kind of matches Sam that makes me think what if who died there was a girl? Like maybe Jordan Kendall? I don't know if this is a stretch or not it kind of feels like it is but maybe Deb? It's a very loose Theory but still something

First the ceiling then the walls, then the stairs, now the floor, what’s next, there is a gap between the floor of the top story and the ceiling of the first floor
Ok at 31:15 there seems to be gaps where the out line is and many they lifted them up put the body under it outlined it covered with the floor boards and have forgotten panted over the writing on the walls and 20 30 odd years latter you found it
Matt: it’s like getting old My little brother who’s watching with me: the only thing that’s getting old is your age Literally destroyed roasted obliterated no life found
We have been saying that it is a Ghost, and another time you have seen something paranormal was the light above Wes' grave. It would make sense because the writing never happened before you saw the light, but it started happening afterwards. That sight also was associated with 3 AM, and that's when the writing appears. This could go with the Theory that it's Wes' ghost, and we have said he sounded British in the tape, and the word "fancy" as it is used here is British Slang (credit: Its REALife! for saying that it was British slang)
I have been waiting for more videos! I'm sad to hear that it'll be more time before we get to see more of where this all is leading. Stay safe crew! I hope you all come through the bad times in good health!

Ok at 31:15 there seems to be gaps where the out line is and many they lifted them up put the body under it outlined it covered with the floor boards and have forgotten panted over the writing on the walls and 20 30 odd years latter you found it
This is like my English Class Murder Mystery Lesson
Matt: it’s like getting old
My little brother who’s watching with me: the only thing that’s getting old is your age
Literally destroyed roasted obliterated no life found
Damn that was a suspenseful ending. Can’t wait to see what happens next! Awesome job again guys love this series so much
This has to be the most clever form of studio remodel I've ever seen
Your content is always so riveting! You guys are amazing and I hope you know how much we appreciate you
I'm so excited for this episode
Rest yourselves you have made 4 seasons of Project 863
Most TH-camrs would quit after doing season 2 so rest yourselves
Season 3 is not finished yet
27:55 should be labeled: Matt trying to teach the team a metaphor and trying to be relatable
dudes you have some next level bravery. If i was you i would buy a new home far away from that place and mainly sell Hi 5 studios
woods saying: “do you fancy me mad”
in a british accent
the body coming out of the ground saying: BRUV YOU CAN STOP ALREADY.
I loved wood’s vlogs 😂 it was amazing
Sounds like the “Tell Take Heart” by Edgar Allen Poe.
I just read this story in my English class 😂

@@TinaMdot I commented this during the premiere before Mat mentioned that.

Question: if the fire was at their location, is it possible that the outline is of Nelson’s body, after the fire? I don’t know if it was ever confirmed that he died in the fire but I think it was implied at some point? Feel free to correct me.
No I'm pretty sure he is still alive because that's why they were getting the sirems
@@Kaz44448 sirens?
No Nelson didn't die in the fire. At the time of the fire Nelson was at a interview, which he had to cute short due to a "incident" at Syntec.
@@midnight_kyro2401 Hm…yeah I think I remember that. So the body was just a random scientist then?
@@rebeccac.600 I don't know myself but it's quite possible. Although we can't cross Nelson off the list cuz we don't know if he died at Syntec or not
I can't wait!
