In 1989 I fell in love as a young Marine, I found out I would be gone for 2 years overseas. I told her not to wait for me because I thought it would be unfair to her to wait on me in her first year of college. I came back and she ended up marrying the guy she dated after me. It doesn't matter when or where, but when I hear this song, I still think of her 31 years later.

I lost the her 7/1/2018 to cancer I understand more than anyone can I know she smiled in the glory of God all Mighty himself and she doesn't need me I know but I will always love and miss her for all eternity but I thank God for all the time that we had together here on earth and I wish that everyone can knew the Love that I had here with Charlotte Jean Graham from July 1987 till July 1 2018 I will always love you Charlotte Jean Graham 😭❤

Big time artists are promotional sell outs. In other words, consumers buy up the image of an artist represented thru commercialism. It's all about getting people to spend their money, and imo the people you mentioned did a better job of selling out.

I have seen G.A. now for the last 10 years, every year,. and he just keeps getting better and better. His raw voice, and songs about everyday life, really hit home, and he sings from his heart, and about how tuff the last few years have been for him, and his children, losing Angela, and then his dad. Gary grew up across the street from the Huntington Beach Pier, here in So. Cal. By the way if you havent already heard his new song: Every Storm Runs Outta Rain, listen to it, it is great.
