some of her melodies are just so ethereal like I literally have no words for how much i love salvatore even tho the soft ice cream line always throws me off.
Obsessed with Lana actually, she's been one of my favorite artists since her debut single so I'm hoping we'll be getting more and more of her on the channel. my only suggestions for the twitch streams would be to react to live performances of songs you have heard already (from Lana, Taylor, Olivia, etc) because sometimes the comments can be distracting or spoiling the lyrics, when y'all know that we adore y'all because of how you pay attention to the song and say your theories on what the song is about ❤
she is actually talking about how women always have to look younger and younger ("when you play with me like a *child*"), to be considered beautiful, like she said. thats why this song is relatable for a lot of women, because she was speaking about a real issue and made it so majestic but without overshadowing the sadness of what it is. (and the fact that this song was for a movie with leonardo di caprio in it, how ironic) A lot of Lana songs are talking about women issues (the consequences of daddy issues for example), and I think thats why women love her songs so much and a lot of men don't understand the "hype"
This was the first Lana Del Ray I ever heard and it instantly had me hooked to her music. If you guys wanna react to more Lana Del Ray I recommend Norman Fuxking Rockwell, Born to die, video game, cinnamon girl, and let the light in. These are her more popular song that you might hear on social media, but also think you guys would enjoy and songs that I love from her. Have you guys ever thought about reacting to certain artist albums? I would love to see you guys reaction to a Lana Del Ray album or Olivia Rodrigo's new album GUTS and even her first one SOUR.
Brought my daughters to her show. I had no desire to go. I stood outside the amphitheater for the last 4 songs waiting for them, and regret not going. It was so good
You all definitely need to listen to more Lana. Been a longtime fan of hers. Would love to see a full reaction to a few of her most famous albums and songs particularly those off Born to Die, Ultraviolence, NFR, and Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd?
I love this song, not only is Lana expressing love and marriage as we age and grow old but she’s also talking about young love, in present time and how beautiful it can be and is without it being all about sex and lust. It’s just beautiful to be with your soulmate, your person and feel safe, shining like diamonds with them. I like how she talks about her man, and how she’ll love endlessly, however she does expect her love to be reciprocated, will you love her like she loves you, be her ride or die? Support her and care for her at her lowest times, or will you get what you need and want from her and then leave like the rest. This song is so powerful and has so many deep messages. I love Lana, check out some more of her songs, you won’t regret it, promise.
OMG I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!!! PLS REACT TO MORE LANA DEL REY! I recommend Born To Die, Cherry, Let the Lights In, Video Games… but honestly I love all her songs
Off to the Races, Shades of Cool, Brooklyn Baby, West Coast, Blue Jeans, Lust for Life, Freak, Cherry, 13 Beaches, Cinnamom Girl, California, A&W, National Anthem, THE MASTERPIECE THAT IS RIDE...........................PLEASEEEE DO RIDE!!
My favorite song from a movie. If u really think about it, it does follow the novel.....from. Daidy's point of view & Gstsby's as well They were both adjoined by time/clock that was running out for both of them 😢.
I am not a huge fan of her music, only because I find her music style repetitive. But this...the instrumental intro, reminds me of a choral almost at the gates of the good place! Hits you on a visceral level. Oof. I can relate to this one!
Please react to "Sophia Scott," an emerging artist from Australia. I think you both would thoroughly enjoy her music, vibe and poetic lyrics. Her hit "Birthday," discusses the range of feelings we experience on our birthdays following a break up. "We went 365 to 1," one of her finest lyrics from the song, describes how you move from talking to your partner daily when you're together to typically only once a year when you're not. This is an artist you should definitely pay attention to if you like meaningful and introspective songs like those of Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift. I love your content and this would be an awesome artist to see you react to :) From Australia, with love 🇦🇺🦘
lol going through a binge watching yalls videos the reactions are great! 😆 Because I recently watched the documentary .. DANCING WITH THE DEVIL Album by Demi Lovato❤ now that’s a reaction from y’all I wanna see 😅
I never saw the parallel message between Young and Beautiful and Nothing New until now. In "Young and Beautiful," it's clear (at least to me) that lana is talking about more than physical beauty. Maybe "that kind of radiance you only have at 17"? They also both reference depression of sorts. In Nothing New: "how long will it be cute? All this crying in my room." Lana's "aching soul." Different energy, similar vibes.
some of her melodies are just so ethereal like I literally have no words for how much i love salvatore even tho the soft ice cream line always throws me off.
salvatore is so hauntingly beautiful it’s one of my favorite of hers 😩
it’s gelato from Italy very fitting to the song actually

@Trabsol yes bc a lot of women with daddy issues only exist for the male gaze and seek men validation …
