Very nice shotgun. One of the reasons why I decided to buy a 1216. The SIMPLICITY, of the teardown of it. Two pieces that's it to clean. Bolt action block and barrel. That. Let's not for get. 16!!!! Shots. 😎🤘. I can't wait to shoot that 1216.
Initially, the 28 is an attractive option. .... But, when cost vs. performance scales are weighed, for many, the conclusion will be to go with the 1216, & an extra magazine, or two.
Did you get it when it was first made? I usually only hear about malfunctions with the first generation models. I believe after serial number 2800, they upgrade to gen 2 with mainstream materials.
I used to go to Val's dad's original Navy Arms store in Ridgefield Park NJ...when I was a kid my dad would take me there on occasion...
How cool is that.

Nicely done
Each tube holds 4, 2 3/4" shells. 3, 3" shells. unless something has changed.
Is this gas oprated gun
Can't wait to see it on Demo Ranch paired with a Swag7 lol.
$1,600+ and can’t find spare mags , I wonder if it’s smooth bore or rifle ?
This is cool!!!
Agree!
Ahh, deja vu
It’s an ok shotgun. I really don’t think it’s worth the money at all. I have constant malfunction even w/ slugs and heavy buck shot.
My experience is completely different, I've never had an issue.
