A good idea for meatballs and some meatball salad and hoagies never can go wrong with those two males in my house 🏡 and you right you always have the double waffle on the macaroni cuz we are a family of slx right now
🤣 blue hands from chalk. Yep! BTDT. My eldest and I said the EXACT same thing about the Mac n cheese-- it seems like there is more cheese than noodles!
Just add a few more noodles I don't eat those packages of macaroni and cheese I prefer Velveeta and shells when I get coupons or they are on sale the store I can get them cheaper than Kraft or off-brand
I've been fortunate I've never used a food bank,. Your meals looked great. Plenty of food. I'm curious how much you would spend on average in a month for your family?
We are able to supplement some with homegrown produce and eggs but only a fraction. A lot of people try to stick to $100 per person per month for anyone 10 and up.
It completely depends on what I have left. If I have meats but no veggies or all veggies but no meat, then not too long. Maybe a week of decently balanced meals. I try to keep it balanced so if we have an emergency (illness, weather, etc) we could go for a couple weeks but the meals would progressively get less balanced. Lol
Do you have dieters with mention your bloods sugars am type 2 l can not eat potatoes pasta white bread or any rice but can eat sweets potatoes any other vegetables l like also eat gluten free pasta that is made with lentils just can't eat pasta at all am in England
Yes, I am type two. I had gestational diabetes with my last 3 pregnancies and it just didn't go away. I can eat small amounts of the higher carb veggies but for sure avoid potatoes and all grains.

Loving your videos. God bless you and your family 🙏🏼❤️
I always add extra pasta to the macaroni and cheese. It's always more cheese than pasta in the box. No matter what brand it is.

My mom used to stretch the mac and cheese by adding more noodles to the pot, too! She didn't like it too saucy either! :)
Everything looks delicious😊🙏

We are currently (with the crazy inflation) spending between $400 and $500 a month. Some times a little more or less.
@@weepingwillowhomestead ,
That still sounds cheap to me for the amount of people you are feeding

can you show how much food you ate but do you ever have leftovers?
How long do you think you could stretch with only getting food from the food bank?
