Oh.My.Goodness. When you sit down with scraps and just think for a second the variety of things that come out!! I feel like watching your process frees me to try all sorts of things, simple and complicated - thank you!
Very nice little projects, love ‘m 👍🏽 Glad to see your hearts on comments here as I was kinda starting to worry when I didn’t receive any on the last few comments I made. But you are dealing out hearts so all good 😁
Hi Gayle!! You do get some of the most amazing Gayle mail...the Jimmy Jo paper!! Quick and easy ephemera pieces today which is always good!! TFS!! Hugs, Liz:)
Great video, I crafted along making greeting cards for my biz... And ephemera for two new journals! Learning from one of the best as I craft! Thanks Gayle!😃😃
I am glad you went to Took's folder too. I love that embellishment. It is so beautiful. I told my Mum about Jimmy Joe and the scissors. It made her laugh. Thanks for telling the story. Mum has been in the hospital for nearly five weeks (hopefully home mid next week) and it really cheered her up. All the best for your recovery too. Take care and have fun in that craft room of yours. Bless Mr A and Jimmy Joe too.
Gayle this is great. I would never have thought that they would go together, but they are lovely together. You have such an eye for coordinating things. I have this Mariposa paper in a 6x4 pad, love it. Thanks for sharing.
I have to comment before I finish watching because you just showed the Amazon paper. I got my order today and i LOVE it!!! I have an option on my printer to print grid, lined, music paper, etc so i did a couple of those and it looks great. I'm going to spray a piece tonight and see how crinkly it is once it dries. Thanks so much for sharing the link Gayle-I am thrilled to have it! on with the show :-)
Scrappy Saturday was wonderful 🤩!! The Fall kit was Beautiful!!♥️ I am definitely loving that it be great in my Fall Junk Journal 😍. It would be great to have Jimmy Joe in there, especially in my first one ♥️😍. The pockets and the flips were very neat and cool 😎👍 that you made!!
Thanks Gayle for sending us over to your playlists while you are on your 2021 retreat. I really thought I had seen them all but somehow I missed a few. Shocking!! Lol. Love the ideas with the vellum and I always love watching you make your clusters. Thanks again and hope you are having fun. 💜
I am lovin Scrappy Saturday! Brenda's kit is fabulous! Oh that JJ and your scissors, thank goodness he wasn't injured as he nibbled away! And then you get a new pair of scissors in happy mail! I think I might need to get a new corner punch, mine does not do as well as yours, I'm going to check your favorite things link first and I have to say again how much I love the Amazon faux parchment/coffee dyed looking paper! LUV it and you my friend ;-) hugs tyfs
I love your happy mail sessions. Your subbies send you some awesome the pics of the dog are awesome. Jimmy Joe wants to help craft too sees you use those sizzors and wants to give them a try too happy that he didn't get cut. Scrappy Saturday is awesom !!!
Awesome kit that Brenda sent you in your happy mail! I checked her Etsy but she didn’t have any kits! Well maybe she’ll do some in the future! TFS Hugs 💕
Enjoyed your video was crafting along with you and its funny how we use up scraps to make more scraps. I was shocked when I seen your scissors.... wow Thanks for the video and I hope your having a great weekend.
I have to say you are so good at fussy cutting. Mine looks like a kid did it sometimes! And I love everything you made today! I will be making them later this week!
Hi Gayle! So glad to see you doing so very well! I am absolutely loving your scrappy Sat. videos and try to watch you everyday. You really inspire me! Thank you!! Seriously loved how all of these quick pockets and flips turned out!
So this is going to sound silly, but I was trying to make those flip-down thingys earlier and couldn't get it right. It was so annoying, which makes this video so perfect in timing. Love all the things you made, Thanks for sharing.
Today is 9/26...wanted to check out your prev. videos I missed. Tears streaming down my face😭...sweet, sweet Jimmy Joe 🐶♥️(he's already at college) 💔 Do hope & pray your hearts are on the mend!! 😘♥️🙏
Hello! Just a thought... you try gel matte medium to seal the ink...then spray after drying. Thanks for sharing all you do. I’m a newbie and love love watching you... such an inspiration
We used to homeschool our kids for geography with Which Way U S A ? My kids loved it and they learned about all 50 states. My older girl taught her baby brother and it was my way of letting her review reading and learn geography as she taught him. Brought so many nice memories.
Love that this Scrappy Saturday was not collaging because we can, and do, collage ANY day. Scrappy Saturdays should be for special stuff like this one.
I love all of your video's, but I think Scrappy Saturday may be my favorite. I also love all the fabric or paper snippets that you make. I have made so may of your ideas as they are right up my street. I could craft with you all day every day. Funny as I talk about you to my friends and it is like we are besties and you don't even know me. So funny. Thanks for all that you do as you make all my crafting so fun...you are the best. ❤
I'm just now watching this and I am still a newbie but for quite a while I have been misting almost any paper (I love the crunch 😂) I mix a small spray bottle add 1 part rubbing alcohol and 2 parts water and lightly mist my paper. The alcohol makes it dry fast. I've also added a little instant coffee or kool-aid or food coloring and even radish peeling lol. I just try different things and see what happens. I heard about the rubbing alcohol and food coloring from someone on Pam's FB (paper outpost) so can't take credit. Also.... I love that kit! I went to her etsy and don't see a kit but see lots of other yumminess 😊
Oh, you made such pretty ephemera today with Dan’s scraps. The paper pack is beautiful. You’re going to have fun with that. And that boy Jimmy Joe, he’s doing what puppies do, unfortunately. Have a nice weekend Gayle. Thank you for sharing 🤗
Gayle you could make a bee journal any time of the year! It would be a break from the cold. I just love scrappy Saturday! The Mariposa paper is wonderful. Would hobby lobby have that? I love it and the items you made from it are beautiful.
Good Afternoon Gayle, just getting up crafted into the early morning hours yesterday, its noon here in Florida. I just love the get well piece you got she really personified you in it, I would love to see a make video on it. So glad to see you doing well. Happy Saturday 😊
How creative you are! These are wonderful ephemera made from scraps. Please let us all know what paper that is with Jimmy Joe on it. It is very pretty autumn paper. I am always inspired by your work.
That paper with Jimmie Jo, how awesome! Love the fold downs with the scraps. Thanks for another awesome video! Do you sometimes find that even with all the stuff you have, there's always a project that nothing seems to look good with?
The acid in coffee “weathers” paper. It basically starts to deteriorate the paper like years of time in an accumulation of exposure to acid in the environment. (Particularly sulphurs) ( the paper making industry also contributes to deterioration because it uses certain chemicals to break down the cellulose in wood pulp. This applies unless the paper pulp buffered or if it is quality acid-free paper). What we actually love about that vintage look is the entropy in action. (Don’t ask Siri the definition of ‘entropy’. My Australian accent man Siri voice is very scientifically academic. Just means ‘breaking down’.) ha. What I’ve been getting around to say is that the acid makes paper brittle and crackly. Luv that! It feels thicker though it’s not, it’s just weaker paper. As a hand paper maker I will still love coffee dyed paper and rusty sludge dyed paper. Gayle, this comment is for your viewers because you probably already know this info.🦌💌
I spray or brush copy paper with plain water before printing to get the texture we like. Flatten it under a heavy book when dry (no ironing 🙂) and it goes through the printers just fine.
Hello Gayle, as always I enjoyed spending a hour with you. I was disappointed when I tried to order one of the fall kits and found out that they don’t ship to Canada. But I am looking forward to receiving my order from you. Enjoy your day and weekend with your wonderful husband and Jimmy Joe. Hugs 🤗 Your friend Cindy from a small town in Northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️❤️❤️
I’ll get your order to the post office on Monday. For some reason, Etsy didn’t like your address so I couldn’t send it from home. That happens a lot with international addresses and I think it might be one of the reasons Etsy shops choose not to ship internationally. 🤗❤️
I’m curious about your little treasure box of goodies. Where did all these goodies come from, you’re so wonderfully organized I can’t believe you have a mixture of goodies like this. Lol
Loving your pretty scrappy ephemera you made today! Always inspiring! If your scissor blades are not damaged maybe you could wrap the handles with duct tape! I bet you have some of the pretty kind or just the silver duct tape would work. Silly boy wanted something to do while sitting in his bed… just like his mama… lol! 😂🐶😘 Have a great Saturday! Hugs! 🤗🤗🤗
I see you and other ladies using a tiny metal tip on your glue ...what do you use? Can you buy them or is it something I can find around the hours I am missing ? ha...I love that tiny fine line it makes on your ephemera, tags, etc. Loved your process today!
It’s the tip for Art Glitter Glue. The glue and tip are available on my website (listed in the description box under my videos) under Gayle’s Favorite Things at gayleagostinelli.com/gayles-favorite-things/. ❤️
Funny what we laugh about that our dogs destroy but our kids get a bawling out and get something taken away from them. What a beautiful Fall kit. I thought you were saying Bernice Water Dog at first then I heard you correctly and laughed. I love the little hidden journaling envelopes. I have a lot of Arthritis in my hands and would love a pair of those scissors. Is there a company name or email on them you could mention in your Scrappy Saturday Show? I would love to know. Thank you.
So fun to watch, such a nice Gayle mail. those envelope pockets are beautiful and so easy to make. BTW, I sent you a card last week and was wondering if you got it! I threw in it a couple of things just a sample. I wonder if it was too heavy, I mailed it with regular stamps. let's hope it won't come back to me, lol! The mail has been delayed in certain part of the country. It feels like Fall here today, brings back memories of my boys getting ready for school, years ago! How I miss those times! Although I am grateful my kids are older. Crazy times for schools this year, I feel so bad for young parents. I hope all your children & grandchildren are safe and well Gayle, it is a lot to handle sometimes. My prayers to all!! Thank you for posting everyday, you are my inspiration to go, go ,go.... hugs.
That sounds great, you are most welcome my dear friend. It was nothing really. I am happy it didn't get lost; no worry at all! I was thinking about your mail man, he must wonder! lol. Just tell him you are a celebrity and people love you and care about you a lot!!!
Hi Gayle! Hope you are doing well I love your channel I dont miss an episode! I was wonder can you please give me the link for the little flowers you love by "timeless creation" ? Thanks and be blessed. Oh PS can you post another video of JimmyJo I just love him

Thanks for another fun video. Poor Jimmy Joe, he was doing so good. Huge hugs.

Thanks for the explanation, I love learning new things about our craft and why things go just so. 👋🏻 from Australia.
So fun! Lots of embellishment to use later. Take care❤️

I’m curious about your little treasure box of goodies. Where did all these goodies come from, you’re so wonderfully organized I can’t believe you have a mixture of goodies like this. Lol
Oh the box. Well, I put everything small in there. So it’s come from happy mail, Etsy, handmade by me and everywhere that you can think of! 😂❤️
Beautiful kit... how perfect for you!
I love those papers you made the pockets with. Are they still available?
The butterfly paper is from a paper pack called Mariposa. If you search Mariposa Scrapbook Paper on Google, you will get some results. ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Thank you Gayle! I found it on Amazon and added it to my wish list
Jimmy Joe was just wanting to craft, too.

Where did Brenda get that beautiful autumn paper
I found it. You have some great ideas..tfs hugs
Someone may have said this, but on the coffee paper, what about doing the wetting before printing? I have never actually done dyed paper yet.
Time to get a corner chopper - they’re big but they really work well...
So yummy 🤩🤗
Ah! It’s a shame you couldn’t use the flower thingy...but, alas, the rest turned out very pretty...😻
Cool scissors...where can I get a pair?
I got them in happy mail, so don’t know where they were purchased. So sorry! ❤️
Gayle Agostinelli You will get a kick out of this, Gayle, I Googled ‘pink scissors’ in Amazon and found them. Life is good! Take Care
