I do want to point out one interesting detail. When Yang is riding and hits the crossroad. One sign says Mistral. The other says Kuroyuri but is painted over with the word BANDITS. And assuming Yang followed that direction and the Branwen tribe is said by the Just Rite owner is the only thing of note out there. It suggests Raven did something with Kuroyuri after the fact.
That’s why, I think at least , that if Nora did encounter the Spring Maiden at one point and did awaken her semblance because of her, it would’ve been the one BEFORE Raven. The one that ran away. That makes more sense since she had no control of her powers when she met Raven, meaning that anyone and anything around her was in danger of something happening if she lost control.
Here's a thought, could Nora be like a living lightning rod in addition to her semblance? Remember how she lifted her hammer and drew that lightning bolt at the Vital Festival Tournament, maybe she drew lightning when she was young. But none the less, interesting theory, only time will tell what's true and what isn't.

In the Vytal festival, the biome had the lighting dust element and Nora climbed to the highest point with a metal hammer, so I always though that was what drew the lightning. It could be that her semblance had some influence but I don't think her semblance would act as a lightning rod before Nora first awakened it though. So that first lightning bolt was probably from something else like Raven or just random. I hope we learn more either way in Volume 8 though! 😊

There is a bit of a problem that, could potentially break this theory? though I still found this theory interesting! It's the fact that all of team JNR along with Ruby and co were at Haven academy and saw Raven. So they all have a chance to recognize her when she returns, but Ren & Nora didn't make a comment about Raven when they saw her. So this theory's going to be walking a tightrope until Volume 8 rolls around to confirm or deny it. Still this is a fun theory to think about.
Oh for sure, it could easily not be true but as I mentioned in the video, it's likely that neither Raven nor Nora know about their connection. Nora likely passed out and doesn't remember and Raven likely wouldn't remember a random child from 10 years in the past. Either way, it was an idea that I found interesting and possible so I figured I'd share it 😊

on the 2nd part of the theory with raven saving nora, maybe with the spring maidens power going out of control she wanted to stop it so she wouldnt lose any bandits, instead of wanting to save nora, she actually wanted to save her fellow bandits (or if she does not actually care about them, like salem and her inner circle, to keep them in order to finish the job)

Except that Raven did not use the Spring Maiden power very much because she wanted to hide that she had it. Random thunder and lightning that corresponds with Branwen tribe attacks would quickly give away where the power is. Considering that Lionheart said they had only recently rediscovered where the Spring Maiden was during V5 I don’t think she would have been using it all the time during raids.

I don't remember who all were knocked out at the battle over Haven, but I don't believe that Nora was one off them. I think it was only Ruby who got kicked to the ground and Weiss who got impaled.

The only connection I see between these two characters, are the ones they're suppose to allude to from Norse Mythology. Raven alluding to Huginn, one of two ravens that were Odin's eyes and ears, just as Raven was for Ozpin before going rogue. And Nora alluding to Thor, the God of Thunder and son of Odin. Oh and 11:36, Ruby did meet Raven in person back at Haven Academy in volume 5, where the latter said she was just like her mother.
I dunno if anyone else noticed this, but almost every intro has something to do with Thunder and Lightning. Maybe Nora is extremely useful to defeat Salem (Wether a descendent of someone from one of Oz's previous reincarnations, direct connection to Salem/Previous Maiden, etc) Also adding onto your theory, imagine Raven teaming up with OJNR and using a combo with Nora by throwing lightning at her, and in that instant Nora gets her memories back

Well, Rwby has interacted with Ruby. Remember the attack on Haven? Ruby tried to get her to see reason and Raven responded with "you're just like your mother".
I think the reason Raven opened the portal to cinder and shown her the vault is she knew that ruby, rwby even wouldnt be able to take on a maiden. To defeat a maiden u need to be a maiden. Hence why she said "Your just like your mother" Meaning she in my opinion acts too much like her and will have her fate. As summers actions lead to her death, to team strqs destruction. Imo i think theres more to raven than what we see her as thats why Qrow warns shes a dangerous person as shes too unpredictable and skilled.
I watched another theory and it said that Nora could have been a roaming nomad with a group of roaming nomads and her group was attacked by the Nuckalavee and she was the only one left and she escaped to Kuroyuri and the Nuckalavee followed her there
Nora got her semblance on crazy Thursday which struck by lightning. Raven had maiden powers for decades, coincidence? Didn't think so. Besides, Nora reaction towards Raven in Heaven never prove anything.
One detail in Volume 7 that really stood out to me was the multiple times Nora yelled at Ironwood in defences of the poverty in Mantle. She was saying that he was letting all the poverty take the hit for his actions and was unusually angry. We already know that Nora came from a very poor background before she met Ren. But what if she was a servant, or being trafficked by the Bronwin tribe such as weiss was?
Here's my little theory, it was thunder storming and Nora was outside and qrow was nearby (as a bird) for some reason (probably because of ozpin) and his bad luck semblance caused Nora to be struck by lightning,
my Possible connection theory: Raven attacked Noras village or attracted Grimm to wipe out the village so they could raid it later. Raven deliberately let one survivor ( Nora ) go to find the next village and draw the Grimm again specifically the Nucklavee to take out it's defences and kill everyone So they could Rob it. So Raven is directly responsible for the slaughter of Rens and Noras entire families.

I think is Neo is the one who should have a connection to Raven instead of Nora. You see, Roman Torchwick once lived in Brunswick which is also at Mistral, and so do Neo I believe. I claim that Neo lives with the same village as Torchwick do because they might have also been childhood friends, the reason why they are also partners in crime. And then, Raven might have been there at Brunswick and caused shenanigans like she have done in the other villages in Mistral. If they used the Nuckelavee for their advantage as a tribe to roam around Kuroyuri and so on, then they might have used the Apathy in Brunswick and maybe Argus as well. So my point is that might have been what Neo encountered in their village with Torchwick, and they might have seen Raven appeared there, that reminds her the one that caused of the disaster. So that might have been the reason why Neo was scared to Raven when she saw her in the train after she fought Yang back in Volume 2. Sorry, that suddenly came out of my mind. Hope it helped.

What if Nora was part of the tribe with her parents and a group including the old maiden went out and the maiden lost it killing the group and hitting Nora as she ran a distance away so she was out of sight which was y Raven had to but her down cos other than her 1 chance rule with yang we never see her actively help others except to protect the tribe.
Would Raven have the maiden powers around that time, she did get them from the last user but we don't know when, so maybe it could have been the previous maiden who did it.
While i'm sure everyone is aware that RWBY does kinda suck at power scaling, using basic science (and by that I mean Volt count of electricity), it can be deduced that Nora is possibly the strongest character. An average lightning bolt is about 300 million volts of electricity and guessing that the lightning that activated at Amity Arena is non-lethal (so less than 120 volts), that mean that Nora's base power for non-lethal lightning is enough to knock a whole team out of bounds in a fairly large arena like that. Using the lightning from the V5 fight where Hazel was going for lethal doses (so over 120, we'll say 150-175), then she has enough strength to knock a large and heavyset man like Hazel approximately 500 feet or less away, then we can deduce that if she were to be struck by another actual lightning bolt (not one that is artifical like dust), then she would have the power of 300 million volts of lightning flowing in her body (given that she can stand getting struck by lightning again), meaning if her strength is based off of the amount of volts within her body, she could quite possibly destroy the rest of the moon if she wanted to.
I dunno I think your second option would be an interesting reveal. Well the whole thing of Raven and Nora being connected would be a good reveal lol. But everyone would assume Raven was the one to do it, probably Yang or Qrow saying something like "Really Raven*/mom*? A kid? You really don't have a bar 🙄" But Nora says "Wait! You've got it all wrong." I dunno. I'm of the belief Raven isn't really a villain per se but an antihero.
No one talking about the real mystery about Nora from that flashback? The bullies specifically mention how weird her clothes look, they're defo not Mistral fashion, more look like she came from Vale or Atlas, so assuming she didn't just steal the clothes, where was she from originally and how long was she travelling by herself? My theory is that her family were attacked by grimm (given the vol 8 mention of her backstory) while they were travelling through mistral, perhaps going on holiday like Jaune said he did a lot in that area.
Is it possible that Nora could be a child of the tribe previous to Raven taking charge and the parents were killed so Nora ran away or got outcast or kidnapped and escaped somehow? Or maybe Nora's parents were sent to Kuroyuri as spies prior to the attack of the fugly horseman🤔
Don't really think that is the case since both Ren and Nora were there when everybody faced off with Cinder, Raven, etc and they had no reaction to her, even if you were really young you are not very likely to forget something as traumatic as seeing your home or village destroyed by bandits. Knowing Nora she probably got struck by lightning by doing something silly like chasing a squirrel or something.
That second theory I don’t think wouldn’t be possible because that would mean there would have been more of a chance for Nora to gain the Maiden powers but rather the second theory is simply Nora tried to steal supplies from Raven’s tribe and tried to kill her while trying to escape
I appreciate your theories and work on them, but when Nora first saw Raven in Volume 5, she didn't seem to react to her like she's seen her before; she only reacted to her ability to turn from a bird into a human. If Raven and Nora did face off in combat beforehand, whether indirectly or directly, Nora surely wouldn't have reacted as she did. That and even if it was indirectly, it's fairly easy to spot the source of the magic when they use it. The Spring Maiden went missing over a decade ago, but it's unknown when she went to Raven and the bandits.
Well this gave me a new theory, what if the spring maiden before raven was nora's sister? Now I know nora didn't know about the maidens or magic but what if her sister kept it a secret in a way to try and protect her? What if nora followed them one day to where raven was training the maiden but nora ended up starting her that lead her to striking nora, she would see what she did and completely breakdown losing the last of her control before raven kills her before it was too late. Raven leaves them not knowing that nora was still alive and had left her with her sisters body and in shock, when may not have seen enough of the training to think magic or really remember much over time except that her sister was dead and somehow she was not. Now if the tribe wasn't too far from lens village then maybe she could have followed a road for a few days to get there not knowing that the tribe was leaving after taking down a nearby village. And wanting to leave after the disaster of the spring maiden. Now before we go to the point were wouldn't nora be the maidens last thought because of what happened, well raven could very well be as well if she was face to face to raven and was looking her in the eyes as she died. Ok I rambled sorry.
Who's to say Raven killed the previous spring maiden? The maiden's power goes to the person the maiden trusts most upon death. Maybe Raven was a great friend or mentor to the previous spring maiden before she fell in battle either away from or beside Raven. That would even explain Raven's inability or lack of desire to give Yang any details when she asks if Raven DID kill her

there is small flaws to that nora vs raven theory. 1. The spring maiden's power wasn't raven until she obtained it during the conflict to find the lamp. 2. If nora did encounter raven's tribe they wouldn't have just attacked Nora or Ren out of the blue they probably would have taken them in as orphans. And even if Raven was the sole reason why the cities were attacked Nora would have fled to survive. which also debunks the idea that Raven had anything against nora. 3. As for the grims chasing Raven's tribe well they are drawn to the spring maiden which in turn made them a walking target. Now true they could have pillaged cities as they needed supplies but i don''t think they would or at least i don't believe raven would purposefully go near a village and risk lives instead some other catalyst of emotions must have drawn people there. For example it looked like kurouri and oniyuri were like in a stalemate civil war sorta like a ying vs yang city.
It would be cool if Raven was lying about the spring maiden, what if the spring maiden was just as corrupted as Cinder and once was a good friend of Nora’s family and or the bandit tribe? Raven’s killing of the maiden doesn’t match up against her being afraid of Salem and not wanting to catch her attention.
I believe that the previous spring Maiden was Summer. It fits due to A. We don't know that much about Summer. B. Raven killed the previous Maiden. C. We can use the opening lyrics of Sacrifice. I mean we know Salem met Summer. So Salem could have badly injured Summer to the point of near. And Summer asking Raven to give her death. Rather to die at a friend's hand than your enemy's. I believe that Sacrifice gives us clues as to how Summer died. Whichwould further explain Raven's hatred for Ozpin. Then again that's assuming that Summer is dead and not held prisoner by Salem.

I agree that Raven and Nora must have crossed paths, but not in the way you're suggesting. Nora is the female version of Thor, who is part of Norse mythology. And the Norse are apart of the Viking faith, and historical evidence, tales, and recounts tell of Vikings being notorious raiders, pillagers, warriors, and killers. Ergo I'm inclined to believe that Nora's life story has to do with being in a cult, or in a murderous bandit clan like Raven's. The only thing is Thor is said to be a gaurdian of humanity. Meaning Nora probably didn't want anything to do with her tribe's cruelty. So, I say Nora probably did see/meet Raven, but only because her people has a history with Raven.
Sorry but this is impossible I doubt that Nora was struck by lightning before the nakalavi attacked and they wouldn’t still be in kuroyuri cause.... things I doubt that Nora could outrun the nakalavi that young they couldn’t have lead it to kuroyuri plus would they be focused on bread instead of running? Don’t forget, the Nuckalavee is an older Grimm. Ren’a Father said they would need a full fledged Hunter to fight it, meaning not something any random Student could do alone. It was effectively the leader of the Grimm attack on Kuroyuri. Meaning that it’s evolved past the point of random attacks. It would be more Methodical and allow Nora to run away, following her to the next feast of negative emotions. I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m merely providing a scenario for it to be plausible for Nora to not get killed by Grimm after getting struck by lightning and before getting to Kuroyuri. Though it is more likely that Nora got struck by lightning after Kuroyuri.
My headcanon entirely separate from all other information is that Nora is trans because: 1. She is absolutely my transition goals 2. I like her character 3. Cmon have you SEEN the Atlas outfit it’s literally the trans flag
Would Raven really kill a kid, though? I've generally NOT been the most attentive person to details for RWBY (something that really annoys my sister) but they generally just leave the "mopping up" to the Grimm. Nora could still be a survivor from one of the tribe's raids, but the lightning is something that could have occurred naturally. Sorry, I didn't watch all the way through--and the Spring Maiden almost/accidentally killing a kid does seem like something that would make Raven mad enough to kill her (thinking of Yang, perhaps).
Child Nora is very different than how she right now. How Quite and scared little girl became hyperactive and happy teenage girl.
I chock up a lot of the hyperactivity to all the sugar from pancakes and syrup.

The only connection I see between these two characters, are the ones they're suppose to allude to from Norse Mythology. Raven alluding to Huginn, one of two ravens that were Odin's eyes and ears, just as Raven was for Ozpin before going rogue. And Nora alluding to Thor, the God of Thunder and son of Odin. Oh and 11:36, Ruby did meet Raven in person back at Haven Academy in volume 5, where the latter said she was just like her mother.
This theory is extremely good! I believe it. Wren also means a bird. I feel like there is a strong connection as well with Wren and Raven.
I dunno if anyone else noticed this, but almost every intro has something to do with Thunder and Lightning. Maybe Nora is extremely useful to defeat Salem (Wether a descendent of someone from one of Oz's previous reincarnations, direct connection to Salem/Previous Maiden, etc)
Also adding onto your theory, imagine Raven teaming up with OJNR and using a combo with Nora by throwing lightning at her, and in that instant Nora gets her memories back

Well, Rwby has interacted with Ruby. Remember the attack on Haven? Ruby tried to get her to see reason and Raven responded with "you're just like your mother".
I think the reason Raven opened the portal to cinder and shown her the vault is she knew that ruby, rwby even wouldnt be able to take on a maiden. To defeat a maiden u need to be a maiden.
Hence why she said
"Your just like your mother"
Meaning she in my opinion acts too much like her and will have her fate. As summers actions lead to her death, to team strqs destruction.
Imo i think theres more to raven than what we see her as thats why Qrow warns shes a dangerous person as shes too unpredictable and skilled.
I watched another theory and it said that Nora could have been a roaming nomad with a group of roaming nomads and her group was attacked by the Nuckalavee and she was the only one left and she escaped to Kuroyuri and the Nuckalavee followed her there
Nora got her semblance on crazy Thursday which struck by lightning. Raven had maiden powers for decades, coincidence? Didn't think so. Besides, Nora reaction towards Raven in Heaven never prove anything.
One detail in Volume 7 that really stood out to me was the multiple times Nora yelled at Ironwood in defences of the poverty in Mantle. She was saying that he was letting all the poverty take the hit for his actions and was unusually angry. We already know that Nora came from a very poor background before she met Ren. But what if she was a servant, or being trafficked by the Bronwin tribe such as weiss was?

Here's my little theory, it was thunder storming and Nora was outside and qrow was nearby (as a bird) for some reason (probably because of ozpin) and his bad luck semblance caused Nora to be struck by lightning,

my Possible connection theory: Raven attacked Noras village or attracted Grimm to wipe out the village so they could raid it later. Raven deliberately let one survivor ( Nora ) go to find the next village and draw the Grimm again specifically the Nucklavee to take out it's defences and kill everyone So they could Rob it.
So Raven is directly responsible for the slaughter of Rens and Noras entire families.

I think is Neo is the one who should have a connection to Raven instead of Nora. You see, Roman Torchwick once lived in Brunswick which is also at Mistral, and so do Neo I believe. I claim that Neo lives with the same village as Torchwick do because they might have also been childhood friends, the reason why they are also partners in crime. And then, Raven might have been there at Brunswick and caused shenanigans like she have done in the other villages in Mistral. If they used the Nuckelavee for their advantage as a tribe to roam around Kuroyuri and so on, then they might have used the Apathy in Brunswick and maybe Argus as well. So my point is that might have been what Neo encountered in their village with Torchwick, and they might have seen Raven appeared there, that reminds her the one that caused of the disaster. So that might have been the reason why Neo was scared to Raven when she saw her in the train after she fought Yang back in Volume 2.

What if Nora was part of the tribe with her parents and a group including the old maiden went out and the maiden lost it killing the group and hitting Nora as she ran a distance away so she was out of sight which was y Raven had to but her down cos other than her 1 chance rule with yang we never see her actively help others except to protect the tribe.

Would Raven have the maiden powers around that time, she did get them from the last user but we don't know when, so maybe it could have been the previous maiden who did it.
While i'm sure everyone is aware that RWBY does kinda suck at power scaling, using basic science (and by that I mean Volt count of electricity), it can be deduced that Nora is possibly the strongest character. An average lightning bolt is about 300 million volts of electricity and guessing that the lightning that activated at Amity Arena is non-lethal (so less than 120 volts), that mean that Nora's base power for non-lethal lightning is enough to knock a whole team out of bounds in a fairly large arena like that. Using the lightning from the V5 fight where Hazel was going for lethal doses (so over 120, we'll say 150-175), then she has enough strength to knock a large and heavyset man like Hazel approximately 500 feet or less away, then we can deduce that if she were to be struck by another actual lightning bolt (not one that is artifical like dust), then she would have the power of 300 million volts of lightning flowing in her body (given that she can stand getting struck by lightning again), meaning if her strength is based off of the amount of volts within her body, she could quite possibly destroy the rest of the moon if she wanted to.
I dunno I think your second option would be an interesting reveal. Well the whole thing of Raven and Nora being connected would be a good reveal lol. But everyone would assume Raven was the one to do it, probably Yang or Qrow saying something like "Really Raven*/mom*? A kid? You really don't have a bar 🙄" But Nora says "Wait! You've got it all wrong." I dunno. I'm of the belief Raven isn't really a villain per se but an antihero.

No one talking about the real mystery about Nora from that flashback? The bullies specifically mention how weird her clothes look, they're defo not Mistral fashion, more look like she came from Vale or Atlas, so assuming she didn't just steal the clothes, where was she from originally and how long was she travelling by herself?
My theory is that her family were attacked by grimm (given the vol 8 mention of her backstory) while they were travelling through mistral, perhaps going on holiday like Jaune said he did a lot in that area.
Is it possible that Nora could be a child of the tribe previous to Raven taking charge and the parents were killed so Nora ran away or got outcast or kidnapped and escaped somehow? Or maybe Nora's parents were sent to Kuroyuri as spies prior to the attack of the fugly horseman🤔

Don't really think that is the case since both Ren and Nora were there when everybody faced off with Cinder, Raven, etc and they had no reaction to her, even if you were really young you are not very likely to forget something as traumatic as seeing your home or village destroyed by bandits. Knowing Nora she probably got struck by lightning by doing something silly like chasing a squirrel or something.
The odds of being struck by lightning are low but never zero.
That second theory I don’t think wouldn’t be possible because that would mean there would have been more of a chance for Nora to gain the Maiden powers but rather the second theory is simply Nora tried to steal supplies from Raven’s tribe and tried to kill her while trying to escape

I appreciate your theories and work on them, but when Nora first saw Raven in Volume 5, she didn't seem to react to her like she's seen her before; she only reacted to her ability to turn from a bird into a human. If Raven and Nora did face off in combat beforehand, whether indirectly or directly, Nora surely wouldn't have reacted as she did. That and even if it was indirectly, it's fairly easy to spot the source of the magic when they use it. The Spring Maiden went missing over a decade ago, but it's unknown when she went to Raven and the bandits.
oooh imagine if Raven and Nora works together in battle, raven can just struck lightning at her and nora will just launch super attacks with that

Well this gave me a new theory, what if the spring maiden before raven was nora's sister? Now I know nora didn't know about the maidens or magic but what if her sister kept it a secret in a way to try and protect her? What if nora followed them one day to where raven was training the maiden but nora ended up starting her that lead her to striking nora, she would see what she did and completely breakdown losing the last of her control before raven kills her before it was too late. Raven leaves them not knowing that nora was still alive and had left her with her sisters body and in shock, when may not have seen enough of the training to think magic or really remember much over time except that her sister was dead and somehow she was not. Now if the tribe wasn't too far from lens village then maybe she could have followed a road for a few days to get there not knowing that the tribe was leaving after taking down a nearby village. And wanting to leave after the disaster of the spring maiden. Now before we go to the point were wouldn't nora be the maidens last thought because of what happened, well raven could very well be as well if she was face to face to raven and was looking her in the eyes as she died. Ok I rambled sorry.
Who's to say Raven killed the previous spring maiden? The maiden's power goes to the person the maiden trusts most upon death. Maybe Raven was a great friend or mentor to the previous spring maiden before she fell in battle either away from or beside Raven. That would even explain Raven's inability or lack of desire to give Yang any details when she asks if Raven DID kill her

there is small flaws to that nora vs raven theory.
1. The spring maiden's power wasn't raven until she obtained it during the conflict to find the lamp.
2. If nora did encounter raven's tribe they wouldn't have just attacked Nora or Ren out of the blue they probably would have taken them in as orphans. And even if Raven was the sole reason why the cities were attacked Nora would have fled to survive. which also debunks the idea that Raven had anything against nora.
3. As for the grims chasing Raven's tribe well they are drawn to the spring maiden which in turn made them a walking target. Now true they could have pillaged cities as they needed supplies but i don''t think they would or at least i don't believe raven would purposefully go near a village and risk lives instead some other catalyst of emotions must have drawn people there. For example it looked like kurouri and oniyuri were like in a stalemate civil war sorta like a ying vs yang city.

It would be cool if Raven was lying about the spring maiden, what if the spring maiden was just as corrupted as Cinder and once was a good friend of Nora’s family and or the bandit tribe? Raven’s killing of the maiden doesn’t match up against her being afraid of Salem and not wanting to catch her attention.

I believe that the previous spring Maiden was Summer. It fits due to A. We don't know that much about Summer. B. Raven killed the previous Maiden. C. We can use the opening lyrics of Sacrifice. I mean we know Salem met Summer. So Salem could have badly injured Summer to the point of near. And Summer asking Raven to give her death. Rather to die at a friend's hand than your enemy's. I believe that Sacrifice gives us clues as to how Summer died. Whichwould further explain Raven's hatred for Ozpin. Then again that's assuming that Summer is dead and not held prisoner by Salem.

I agree that Raven and Nora must have crossed paths, but not in the way you're suggesting. Nora is the female version of Thor, who is part of Norse mythology. And the Norse are apart of the Viking faith, and historical evidence, tales, and recounts tell of Vikings being notorious raiders, pillagers, warriors, and killers. Ergo I'm inclined to believe that Nora's life story has to do with being in a cult, or in a murderous bandit clan like Raven's. The only thing is Thor is said to be a gaurdian of humanity. Meaning Nora probably didn't want anything to do with her tribe's cruelty. So, I say Nora probably did see/meet Raven, but only because her people has a history with Raven.

Sorry but this is impossible I doubt that Nora was struck by lightning before the nakalavi attacked and they wouldn’t still be in kuroyuri cause.... things I doubt that Nora could outrun the nakalavi that young they couldn’t have lead it to kuroyuri plus would they be focused on bread instead of running? I thought not this is VERY unlikely and pretty idiotic
Don’t forget, the Nuckalavee is an older Grimm. Ren’a Father said they would need a full fledged Hunter to fight it, meaning not something any random Student could do alone. It was effectively the leader of the Grimm attack on Kuroyuri. Meaning that it’s evolved past the point of random attacks. It would be more Methodical and allow Nora to run away, following her to the next feast of negative emotions.
I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m merely providing a scenario for it to be plausible for Nora to not get killed by Grimm after getting struck by lightning and before getting to Kuroyuri.
Though it is more likely that Nora got struck by lightning after Kuroyuri.
My headcanon entirely separate from all other information is that Nora is trans because:
1. She is absolutely my transition goals
2. I like her character
3. Cmon have you SEEN the Atlas outfit it’s literally the trans flag
Would Raven really kill a kid, though? I've generally NOT been the most attentive person to details for RWBY (something that really annoys my sister) but they generally just leave the "mopping up" to the Grimm. Nora could still be a survivor from one of the tribe's raids, but the lightning is something that could have occurred naturally.
Sorry, I didn't watch all the way through--and the Spring Maiden almost/accidentally killing a kid does seem like something that would make Raven mad enough to kill her (thinking of Yang, perhaps).
