Started to play Charlie Brown shows for my 4 year old grandson earlier this year. To my surprise there was a lot of Charlie Brown Christmas themed items.
Shultz did a great service with that adorable admirable gang. ❤

Twas the day after Christmas
Twas the day after Christmas and i just got the bills
all of that shopping cost me a half mill
I will be working 3 jobs just to pay
for all of the presents bought for Christmas day
paper is strung all over the house
and the dishes are piled into a great mound
the dog's eating something he found on the floor
and the cat now has streamers tinsel eaten before
The kids are now playing with an old box
that once held the presents for Christmas they got
the wife’s went to bed curled up in a ball
in total exhaustion from seeing it all
she’s babbling something I don’t understand
but the look on her face said it isn’t too grand
There must be a reason we do this each year
for one can just handle so much Christmas cheer
but come Christmas morning tradition begins
with the joy on sweet faces it all starts again
