They needed a break. Artists who tour a lot sometimes need a longer break. They're back in earnest again in the summer of 2021 if corona virus allows it.
I truly wish I wouldn't have somehow missed this when it first came out, but man... I haven't had a band impact me the way these two do in a long time. They are absurdly good performers and probably the most talented songwriters I've heard in a very, very long time.
This is what Tiny Desk should be about... totally vulnerable. Not bringing in shitloads of other musicians to back you up or a posse of fans to scream and hype you up, if you can't perform like this.... you're probably missing something

Johanna is gorgeous but Klara is cute too. She also has a wonderful soulful voice. Until the new album (Stay Gold) "The lion's roar" was my fav Track by FAK. It is now the brilliant "a long time ago" Klara sings it so beautifully
First Aid Kit also nods to the band Momma's and the papa's. Notice that Klara is always the one starting and announcing the song, she's like the lead singer of the duo.

Loving the raw vocals here. And you can hear the harmonies better here compared to on the albums where the brunette is even more overpowering. 2 great singers!
