I just looked at a new GSX-R 750 the other day. That thing is sweet. Nice job changing all these parts. Always a crap shoot looking on the internet to find out how to do stuff like this. Glad it worked out for you.

Nice job, man. It's 60° degrees here today! I just had to put the battery back in the Drz and fire it up. Then, I thought, what the hell, take a little ride... 75 miles later I pulled back into the garage! 😅. Middle of December, Man! That's a first for me..😅. I have a k7. Nissin master sucks. I had it replaced under warranty once before and I ended up buying the brembo 19rcs after it started to feel slushy again. I wish I had done it years ago when I bought the bike new. I’m saving up to overhaul the entire brake system.
I rode this bike yesterday in Xmas eve. 80 miles. Brakes freaking rock now! Yea. The nissin master was. Nothing to write home about.
Noobie here. Did you have any trouble with “centering” the pads on the brake disc for maximum contact so they werent sitting too far in or too far out? Or did the spacers index the caliper at the right distance for that?
That’s what the spacers were for. If I would have just attached he’d the calipers, the rotor would have bottomed out in the caliper. Learn experience. Rode it yesterday. It did amazing!

Whas the spacer size you used. I ordered both the brimbo brake and clutch (i like things to match).

Will I have the same brake feel if I use just the brembo master cylinder? I have gsxr 1000 and the master is trash to say the least lol
The master is for sure the big contributor here. It should improve things drastically.

@@adomaslesys not sure. And these were from an 06 R1. 04-06 fits. Spacing on other years may not.

Great upgrade !! Im doing this to my gsxr 750 k6. Did you order the new brake lines for a R 1 or did you order them for the gixxer ?
R1! Gixxer has the single line from the master to the RH caliper then crosses over to the housing. R1, has 2 lines from master, to each caliper. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your reply !! I have exact the same setup apart from the brake lines im gonna go with the blue one, my gix is blue / white. Other than that everything is gonna be the same, the lever looks great ! How is the setup doing, you are still happy with it ?
@@dickquist9483 I am extremely happy. It truly transformed the bike. I’m not 100% sure the calipers and spacing is the same for the 750. If it’s the same as the 1000, this should work for you! Just remember if you are changing the master, you’ll have to get a brake lever for an R1. The GSXR lever won’t fit. Good luck, and keep me posted!
Perfect ! Looks great too !! Yeah its the same for the 1000 and the 750. I ordered all the parts i just have to wait when it all comes in so i can install it. I will give you an update once its ready. Thanks again for your reply and great vid 👍👍👍
