What the kids sees: his HP go down and up WOO WOO alert hacking, my HP is moving down how is it possible I'm better because NOTHING is a good reason. He doesn't even know what a "strategy" is, sorry I was trying to be funn
“How’s he doing that?” Okay, so the Nosepass is level 1. In game terms, he has like ten hp total. His ability is sturdy, meaning it can’t be taken out in one hit if it’s at full health, something that can be used again and again so long as it’s health is full. It also has toxic, meaning it can slowly build up massive damage as you’re being walled. From there it’s simple. Any attack from the opponent reduces Nosepass to one health, or ten percent here. Then the Nosepass uses pain split, a move that quite literally splits both sides health between them. And since the Pokemon on the other side of the field has a lot more health, it ends up taking a lot of damage, while Nosepass recovers the whole nine percent it needs for the next hit to activate sturdy as well. Rinse and repeat until the enemy Pokemon is down.
@@korosensei1325 nope, with sturdy it'll always be surviving. If the Pokemon has full health, sturdy still activates but if not then sturdy doesn't activate anymore. No matter what stat boosts you give to your Pokemon, it can't one-shot a Pokemon with sturdy unless you use a multi-hit move like Doubleslap, Triple Axel, Dual Chop, Twineedle, etc.

Impersonating a mod is usually a bannable offense in of itself And when you're picking teams.. isn't it important to balance types over whats rarer to get? Like, I usually try to have a normal type move on any of my 'mons at all times so if their more unique ability is useless there's something to fall back on

Well to be fair the dude didn't know what's happening.
@@mabeldies2936 yh bc he cant read
“How’s he doing that?”
Okay, so the Nosepass is level 1.
Nah hes hacking, geomancy xerneas with moonblast surely OHKOS!

Most MMOs have strict rules about impersonating a mod. I'm surprised this game doesn't.
Impersonating a mod is usually a bannable offense in of itself
And when you're picking teams.. isn't it important to balance types over whats rarer to get?
Like, I usually try to have a normal type move on any of my 'mons at all times so if their more unique ability is useless there's something to fall back on
I do it the other way around, I have unique typings but usually a ok ability to rely on if things go bad.
When assembling coverage is indeed generally considered a goal. Like having answers to common annoyance strats, to counter strats of your main strat, and a diverse array of answers to questions your opponent might ask.

@@CaptainMurdock1337 ooh ok. Thanks for explaining. I saw the pain split but I stupidly assumed it brought you to a percent of their hp (like if you have 50% of yours they have 50% of theirs). Thanks for clarifying!
If the opponent looks like their team is from the daycare, then you’re probably about to have your team demolished
I refuse to believe that people like this exist
You'd be surprised, there are people 5 times worse than this
Especially someone using a move like Hydro Cannon when Hydro Pump exists lol
U'd be surpriced how many ppl use Legendaries teams so much (getting ptsd from the Primal forms and Mega Ray in Ultra)
Keep living in fairytale land
Same
"You have 2 baby pokemon"
Yeah those are the teams that scare the shit out of me
Especially, how does he even not fear eevee, especially in A FREAKIN NATDEX AG
Love How their idea of strategy is always boost attack then attack even more
But it worked in single player!
@@Akatsuki69387
How quaint.
Imagine being a ‘Pokémon moderator’ and not know that pain split will put you to 100% health if you’re level 1 and your opponent is level 100😭🤣
These videos are always so satisfying, because you win with weird(?) strategies and your opponents are somehow always a 12 year old who spams legendaries and has no idea how the game actually works, leading to frustration and a massive amount of salt.
As a twelve year old I take offence, also a six year old is slightly more accurate-
@@riftsrevenge4599 not all 12 year olds are salty like these people. 6 year old would not be more accurate because 6 years olds are less likely to be interested in Pokemon/know what Pokemon showdown is.
@@oodogla yes, I was trying to say this
The opponents aren't always unhinged 12-year olds. Only those who get uploaded to TH-cam are.
@@riftsrevenge4599 you shouldnt be on YT btw
"I'll bring the right team."
*proceeds to use the same strategy as before*
"I put hydro Cannon instead of hydro pump let me fix that"
*Greninja gets replaced with 3 Xerneas.*
“Gotta invite my friend, make it public, lmao!”
*loses*
Gosh, that was satisfying to watch.
Gotta love how these kinds of people always call hacks when literally nothing you're doing even resembles something impossible.
Ah the classic “let me invite my -alt account- friend to make fun of you”
Also how do you only realize you used Hydro Cannon after the battle and not when Greninja stopped moving every other turn? Sounds like a scapegoat to me…
I don't think it was an alt cause it pointed out he's losing and genuinely didn't seem to know anything about Pokémon...though the first reason is a better indication than the second.
@@Akatsuki69387 I was thinking about that but he had an account so either Liam drags him into this all the time or it's a lie
@@liquidsandwich1052 It's most likely the former. In fact, I'd be willing to bet it's an account Liam made for their friend rather than one the person willingly made on their own.
The responses they had to Liam's behavior were oddly noncommittal, like they weren't truly invested, and they didn't know how to report other accounts meaning they didn't really have any of the basic functions of the website down either.
I'm willing to bet Liam is probably younger than whoever they brought on to watch by at least a year and they were there more to be polite as a friend than out of actual interest.
I honestly really feel bad for his friend, he’s really innocent and was just brought to the toxic’s nonsense and persuaded him that temp was the bad guy
Well, he was also trash talking temp instead of being calm and telling his friend to just calm down and leave. That doesn't deserve any kind of compassion
either that or he actually used a different device, with a different account and just pretended to be a friend that believed his toxic mind to be on the right side
seems like liam just convinced him that he was hacking more than him being toxic on his own
@@unfantasma9995 This video likely is using three accounts. The overreacting for this is unnatural and you can easily do this trick.
@@bandanan-zthatbandanaweari1121 wou, that would be beyond sad
I love that people lose so they imediately think "oh, gotta be hax"
>"Im better than you"
>Doesn't understand basic Sturdy antics
I'm guessing you were fighting a kid. Otherwise I don't understand why they thought you were hacking. That was a pretty cool combo though, not going to lie.
Na these junkie twenty somes sitting home on mom's pcs all day are confirmed this stupid. I avoid certain games now because of it
As I said, swearing is not allowed. Agreed.
Oh you'd be surprised at the amount of immature and idiotic adults there are in this world
I love that the friend was just like lol and just enjoying his friend getting destroyed
that is not what was happening. the friend was believing liam, and he was laughing, not at liam, but at temp for "needing to hack to win"
Sad that he was being manipulated by his friend who was so sure that he'd win.. That friend obviously didn't understand what was going on, so I hope he finds someone better than Liam
@@unfantasma9995 the friend said he doesn’t play pokémon. it’s reasonable to see what was happening and assume it’s hacks if you’re seeing a pokémon take 37292839372 hits and not die if your friend who does play tells you it’s hacks
@@tavi7808 meth heads are pretty slow 🤣
If I ever ran into someone like the first guy who called my Pikachu and Eevee "baby pokemon", I would immediately think, "ok, you clearly take this game less seriously than I do."
And then build a team around Igglybuff and Pichu just for them.
Bring a Skitty solely to piss them off even more 😂💀
Why not do one better and build a full team of baby Pokemon?
@@KinjiroTheThunder I like how you think. 🧠
As of writing this, there are 19 Baby Pokemon: Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, Azurill, Wynaut, Budew, Chingling, Bonsly, Mime Jr., Happiny, Munchlax, Riolu, Mantyke, and Toxel.
