Very entertaining even though I find it sickening how some people think. You did an amazing job at responding. I have a little TH-cam channel,so I can relate. I admire you for not letting the negativity get the better of you. I lived in Southern California for my first 30 years without air-conditioning (1950-1980) in either my house or my car. One person on our block had an air conditioner for one room, the "den." I live in Northern California and still don't have an air conditioner. Go girl.

I'm 48 now, also am a yoga teacher. I solo car camped through my 20's/ 30's cross country on long road trips. I also lived full time traveling in a RV for years after I got married (after the age of 41). For now, we are building a small cabin on our land in the Ozark mountains. Highly recommend keep doing you. Life outside the box is the best 😊

I used to drive a semi over the road in 48 of the states and home is always where you park it. I can say it was lonely on the road but it was interesting seeing the country. I did it solo and I am home now but it was fun and an experience for over 10 years. I slept in the Walmart parking lots etc. Not as bad as people think but I was ina truck with a sleeper and cars are just a little morecompact. In any case you have more freedom as you work outside the car and I worked in a truck which my job had limitations where I could go and how many hours I could drive, as well as where I had to go to. I hope you have fun and I love your videos. Stay safe and have fun.

I also brushed my teeth and spit it outside. I lived near a laundromat to wash clothes. I showered at my sisters place. (I couldn't live there, though) I parked in fairly safe places.
I def understand the struggle.

I give you so much credit for taking charge of your life and enjoying it, not running the rat race we’re conditioned to think we need to run! I just bought a sienna van last month. I'm getting it ready now. Planning on leaving for Arizona in January.
You should get a carabiner for your keys- keep em hooked to you or a bag or belt loop or something. Just in case that were to happen not outside of a planet fitness... I have to use one on my pocketbook cuz I've lost or locked in as well 😂
My husband does occasionally poop in the middle of the night... maybe not specifically 3am, but definitely early morning hours.

Stumbled across your video on FB & I'm obsessed 😂 but try to stop at a pull & pay to pull off the rain guards off another car. It doesn't have to be your same make & model as long as the length fits. & you'll save a TON of money doing it that way - $65 for 2 windows at AutoZone or $24 for all 4 windows at a pull & pay! ☺️

I think theres much to b said about the factthat ppl r tuning in to watch u, their curiosities com w som astounding connotations to say the least n majority of ppl tend to not even know how to express themselves on any scope of awareness for anything beyond their own small space. Som of my coworkers just say im crazy for venturing in my “car motel” this summer n others r excited for my upcoming adventures n so am i. I personally have dreamed of living on the road 6 months out of the year with my husband, but right now, it's not feasible because I am pregnant and I can't financially afford living in a van, RV, or fifthwheel at the moment. I think older people forget that when we are young , we don’t get up to pee in the night , we don’t need perfect mattresses , we are not all set in our ways In our younger days , we can hike and be uncomfortable and recover much quicker … it’s endless

64 female. No health issues except asthma (Thanks, smoking parents), and I like a pad for sleeping. No bp issues, no high cholesterol, no cardiac issues. I get along better with younger, because IM not set in my ways. I intentionally choose younger docs, FOR this very reason. I dont want to buy a house or property, because they would tie me down. Im also educated with a degree, also self-educated. Speak 3 languages, currently learning Hebrew (Im Jewish). The people who harass me the most about not being tied down, are GUYS of all ages, and older females. Ahem. This is NOT Iran, and I am NOT Muslim.

Funny. I locked my key in my Neon when I took my road trip before the pandemy. It was 3 in the morning and I was half asleep at the gas station. I hit the manual lock (it was an old car from 2000) and realized it too late. They allowed me to call for help. :) Lesson learned. Never leave your keys in the car when half asleep.
NOOOOO so funny you comment this today because I just witnessed a girl lock her keys in her car at Panera bread this morning 🤣 she must not of had her coffee yet and was half asleep too haha that’s good you could call for help! She did too
@@AlaunaRoby Oh nooooooooo! It's the most horrible feeling though. Embarrassment and a lot of internal cursing. Indeed. Those half asleep events never turn out well. :( At least she was in a place where she could get help. :)

Yeah, she's not in her vehicle that much. Even if someone follows the weather, you're going to be hot and cold sometimes. There's nowhere in the US that's not hot occasionally in the summer. And while AC was just invented, people in the past didn't live in metal boxes that become ovens in the heat AND they used ice, cool water, shade, etc to stay cool. People die in houses in the summer so someone can easily die from heatstroke in a vehicle. For that one question, please ignore her. Signed a woman who's lived in her vehicle for years and doesn't house sit or take off for months to travel internationally (both of which are freaking awesome and both of which reduces this TH-camrs time in her car)

Right now focused on keeping Ronda movin and groovin. But ultimate goal is to get a 4x4 Toyota Tacoma to take me off road to some even better (aka private) camp spots 😈

I loved "Your Mom" comment, I am the same, I would love to fit out a van and take to the road, but not an option, with about 10 rescue animals and a mortgage on our farm, oh and a husband, it just isn't possible.......yet....... LOL.
Also, why all comments about homelessness, how is this any different to people traveling in caravans or campers? Just a more compact version.

This comment actually brought tears to my eyes. I was the kind of kid who was too shy to order their own food at a restaurant and was terrified of going places by myself. I was brought up in a household dominated by fear. These past three years of sharing my life online and working the jobs I have while traveling has totally opened me up to be able to become who I truly want to be and I definitely think this video showcases that.
