I'm back in 2023 with a much better understanding of the language to offer my ULTRA DELUXE translation!! Lmao if anyone is still here: Searching for the whereabouts of that dream I'm still a child who knows nothing I'm forgetting it -- the scent of that town That suited it's own picturesque, unchanging scenery so well The sun hurts my eyes, The raindrops dance over my feet I don't want to forget I don't want to forget But I've been left completely behind Before we know it, flames will reach out their hands to split the sky But no matter what, I don't want to forget I don't want to forget That which, in the minds of everyone else, is already dead and gone The paved road everyone walked And the path through the shrubbery that no-one ever takes No matter which way you pass through, the destination is the same That might be a little sad, mightn't it? I can see the city passing through time, affirming all it's changes My back is pushed forth by fate, I am blessed enough to know the meaning of the clouds above me I never have wanted to forget I don't want to forget That secret hideout was so supposed to be untouchable In that city that can't find the way to put things off till tomorrow, not in the sky, not below it, nor here, nor anywhere I don't want to forget I don't want to forget-- -- The fact that I was here, the town belonging to the world which protected my uniqueness.
