Ruben is so hands on , he's running the entire thing on his own personally with assistants on the sidelines. Love the part where he makes the back 5 sprint towards their own goal
Yes it vital to be able to play with and without the ball. On both sides of the pitch. When I use to coach, l would use this analogy. If your elderly grandparents were in the house with you. Would you allow a thief, to come in and rub your grandparents in front of you? They reply no, they would defend the house, to keep their grandparents and house safe. That is the mentality that the team must have as a unit. To be champions.

@ChrisCoelho absolutely. This isn't going to be a quick fix. It takes time for players to adapt to a new style of coaching and take on those ideas and get them drilled into muscle memory. But I like what i see so far
Speaking as someone who’s academic background is Sports Coaching; there is so much here that is excellent to see, the creating(/building) of patterns, the expectations, the reinforcement of what you do when X happened, and then the response when Y does. Interesting to note; Shaw as the LCB was being deployed here, he wants Kobbie doing that Box2Box/Segundo Volante role, Casemiro next to him as the sitter. Mount higher up as a 10, Malacia as LWB (I am curious whether his slowing of the ball is a tactical instruction or a mental response to his injury; I’m tempted to say the former); Amad as a 10. Evans CCB.
So vocal and involved in every part, I love to see him bringing this energy. You can tell he will be a great mentor in developing players and he knows what he wants.
@@Cobalt1520yes I agree you could be fit at 50 but I’m sure Amorim would much rather him teach them the exact way he wants to play rather then having to relay it through an assistant. Plus there probably setting up the next drills and plays so they don’t waste time.

As a long Manchester United fan i have never been excited to see a new coach but this man knows what he want to do , he want to give an identity to the club. if this not the man that change the current status of man utd i don't see other man
Yep. The coaches under the manager were always supposed to run around and get the players to follow instructions, and if the coaches didn't do it, then the manager was to blame. Only time will tell how well the system works, but I am happy with having a DoF & a head coach instead of a manager.
Really hope Amorim can bring Man Utd to its old glory. I can see already some players benefiting from his way of communicating and coaching, like Anthony. Never been a fan of him, but he has qualities. Amorim, as a portuguese speaker, can boost his confidence.

This training session made my day. I got butterflies in stomach because I have seen a manager so involved in a training session like this. That's why he transforms his teams easily
Frankly speaking. This is the 1st time I have seen proper training of Manchester United team. All the previous coaches would have just done Rondos and jogging up and down then we close. This guy is a proper coach. Keep him till thy kingdom come.
