- HolidayWorld.com The Voyage has been voted a Top 5 Wooden Roller Coaster on the Planet every year since 2007 (TIME magazine named it the nation's best wooden coaster in 2013.). This 1.2-mile coaster offers more "air time" than any other wooden coaster in the world. Using our GoPro camera, we shot a POV (point-of-view) Voyage ride in HD on July 3, 2012. Please note, Guests are not - under any conditions - permitted to take cameras on our roller coasters and most other rides.

Favorite coaster! I once rode it 3 times in a row... it was awesome but my back & neck were so sore afterwards hahaha.

I went to holiday world yesterday and stood in a 3 hour line but it was SOOO worth it. Jerks you around a lot though
It's great! I just rode it for the first time today however I have the luxury of living close by.
It should be! It's really fun, but it does jerk you around a lot but it's worth it. I would recommend going to hi day world in early August because that's when it's not very busy and their lines are shorter 💞
+Emily Angle Lol Voyage has been around for 10 years and has never had a 3 hour line. Never even had a 2 hour line. Ive been to Holiday World probly 60 times including the most crowded parts of the year and the longest Ive ever had to wait for Voyage was 55 mins.

I don't know how many times I have rode it with my dad it is a new tradition with my family
1 minute 40 seconds from disengaging the lift hill chain to hitting the primary brake run. Most rides don't even have one minute of time traveling at speed between those two points on the ride.
Just before the triple down starts, you can see that the track does travel through a bit of a natural valley.
Raven looks like a kiddie coaster compared to this.
Still, The Raven also remains one of my favorite rides, ever. Top 5, for sure.

The video alone makes this ride look appealing. Can only imagine what it's like to actually ride it in person, looks awesome.
Its my favorite roller coaster EVER. I've been here, Kings Island, and Disney World Magic Kingdom, and stand alone roller coasters at fairs and such, and Voyage is my favorite roller coaster out of everything.
This is my all time favorite ride at Holiday World. Such a blast, a memory I will never forget!
This was my first roller coaster ride back 3 years ago.
The feelings I had before, during, and after the ride were indescribable.
I Was Just At Holiday World for the 1st Time and Man! The Rollercoasters alone was worth the trip! I loved it and the Free Soda's Were Worth the Trip!
Riding this 8 times in a row was so fun
I find it fitting that this awesome ride is in the Thanksgiving section, because it sure is something to be thankful for ;)
Also, it is the one and only ride I enjoy more than my beloved Beast. And I'm a Cincinnati kid, so that's quite an achievement.
I rode this for my first time this summer at sunset, BEST RIDE EVER it does make your voice dry. it's super fun and worth the wait! also you can really feel the small hills on this one. i love this ride.
Holiday World sure knows how to make a great roller coaster.
***** , please consider later hours during the summer. Your coasters (including the upcoming Thunderbird) would be incredible at night... especially because of their location.
IMO, it gives Kings Island a slight edge because they can offer nighttime rides on their coasters. And everyone knows that coasters at night (especially through the woods) is a completely different experience.

That triple down in the tunnel at night will be amazing
***** Problem... Indiana is on EST when it SHOULD be on CENTRAL time (based geographically) It doesn't get dark in the summer until 9:30-10:00 at night. We HATE it.

Rode this twice when I went yesterday and one of those times was in the very front seat. This thing is a beast by all means but it's the most fun coaster they have without a doubt.

Rode the Voyage twice today with my ten year old nephew. I'd ridden it before but it was his first time. We both LOVED it!!!!!! Thunderbird I'd great but there's just something about a BIG wooden roller coaster.
That looked insane. Nice layout and fast! Definitely on my bucket list.

I just got back from Holiday World yesterday and I rode every ride they had there.
BEAST. *Heart Thumping*
I live in Cincinnati and have a season's pass for King's Island where I go dozens of times every year. I will be making the trip to Holiday World for the first time next Sunday mainly to experience this ride. I can't wait to ride the only wooden coaster that is better than The Beast.
I love coasters and this ride almost broke me!
We were there last week ( june 28 th ).... we rode this ride 6 times... and it wasnt close to being enough.... just won holiday world tickets on a radio contest and will be coming back towards the end of the summer to ride again.......

Went to holiday world with my 8th grade class and it was so fun my Fav rides were the voyage & liberty launch! The voyage was scary at first but turned out AWESOME!

I totally suggest this roller coaster. I have ridden it about 15 times over the years. It seemed a little faster and more intense this year but of course I love it!

One of my favorite coaster
LOVE IT!!!! we were just there a couple weeks ago!!
You might not notice it, but the ride is built on a hill. The first part goes up the hill, while the second part goes downhill, which explains how it retains its speed for so long. A very smart and creative design, if you ask me.
Holiday World is so fun! I'm going there tomorrow!

I went on this when i was their deffinitly a rush!! I recomend it to anybody who wants to ride it the suspense on the way to the top was really intense and then u stop at the top and just thrust forward when i got of this ride i was so shooken up i was a little light headed!
I'm gonna ride this in a couple weeks I'm so exited this is my 3rd time riding this ride the last time I went I was le 12 and I ride the front seat of the voyage it was awesome

If Holiday World were to get a solid steel coaster lineup, they would be the ultimate park to go to. Parks like Cedar Point have the great steel coasters a good park needs, but they don't have a wooden coaster that amounts to anything good.

One of the best things about our trips to holiday world is that you can ride these rides over and over again until you get your fill.
This ride is amazing! I know it's still winter and all but gosh I just can't wait to go again this summer!!! If you're looking for a piece of Heaven on earth then Holiday World and Splashin Safari is IT!!! :D
True! Splashin Safari is the perfect sister park as it has some of the best water coasters around.

Rode it today, super intense. A bit painful on the neck but basically there is no down time at all! It's super long and is just one drop or curve after another the entire ride. Really, prolonged vertigo the entire length of the ride! Not surprised it wins every year
I never thought in a million years a wooden roller coaster could top The Beast at Kings Island, however The Voyage did and it is absolutely the most incredible wooden roller coaster I have ever ridden. El Toro has nothing on this either. I have not rode Boulder Dash yet and I heard its good but I honestly do not think there is any wooden coaster topping this.
It is well worth the drive to stay there for the weekend. :)

I remember my first ride on this a summer or two ago...I was with my dad and I was terrified because heights tend to scare me...but once we passed the drop i was having a blast XD

Beast on steroids. Hands down the best. Would love a wooden one with a loop, or a dueling/racing one. Prancer and Dancer showdown? Sleigh ride? Santa's sleigh?

I have season passes to holiday world this year and ot is my favorite place to go over the summer but i rode the voyage once it was fun but scary i don't think I am going to ride it again though:)
I'm going to Holiday World on July 15 which is this coming Monday. I'm going to ride all of the roller coasters there for the first time! I'm getting $15 for riding The Voyage and Thunderbird.

The best wooden coaster I've ever been on and I've been on plenty of them across the US. The only ones that come close in my book are El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure, the legendary Beast at Kings Island and the other two coasters at Holiday World, the Raven and the Legend.
The worst part was the big drop. Gets me every time. Also the wooden part beating me up
