Note: Reshiram and Zekrom DO NOT have the same exact battle theme. There are minor differences in instruments here and there. Labeling one theme as being for both is incorrect. - เกม
And I noticed the unique names:

So, one in all, they are in contrast to each other.
Dream phase REM, memory ROM and memory RAM.
Rem and Ram in a rom hack.
Zekrom sound rough and hard
While reshiram sound soft and gentle and kyurem starts off rough but end soft

Well, Reshiram has blue eyes, and and is a Fire type, while Zekrom is Electric type, but has red eyes. It plays into the whole yin yang thing!
Blue eyes White Dragon and Red eyes Black Dragon. Exactly the same as the ones from Yu-Gi-Oh only with their elemental powers swapped.
And kuyrem has yellow eyes

Reshiram is Griffith and Zekrom is Guts from berserk.
And kyurem is ice type and has yellow eyes and is WEAK to reshiram
Fun Fact: On 1:16, you will hear electric sounds, but on Reshirams theme, it's much more of fire sounds. Same thing with Kyruem's theme who has bass beats in his theme.

@@zacharycoleman1117 in Or/As on they used Zekroms version which has the lightning sounds. I personally think they should have just used Kyurems cos it doesn't have any 'identifying' SFX, like fire or lighting
If it was 't for the first 18 seconds, This song would've been ok, but because the first 18 seconds were there, it made love this theme, listen to it over and over again, it also made the rest of the song better and it also got my attention.
I love the beginning too.
I argue its 0:53 and 1:18 that really gives the song its flavor.

Pokemon doesn't even exist so all the pokemon are creative and I find Gen 5 to have some of the best designs going.

And for Reshiram, you can hear flames too.

So everyone knows that zekrom reshiram and kyurem has different effects on their theme at 1:18 but did you also know that only zekrom has more added beats in 1:41? Honestly those added beats makes Zekroms my favorite

I never heard this theme when I was a kid. Whenever I got the Master Ball my brain was like “ooh big cool Pokémon like da one on da box”… so I never got to hear this in full. This song’s great
My list of the legendary pokemon in order from best to worst and I don't care about butthurt genwunners, hoenn lovers, etc:
1.- Unova: I just love Reshiram's look and also Zekrom (Reshiram is my favoutrite) also their theme it's just awsome, it makes you feel like this will be an epic battle where you will have to try to capture a very powerfull Pokemon.
2.- Kalos: I like the looks of the 3 legendaries in this region, also the theme sounds really cool, it sounds like this actually is something like a decisive battle.
3.-Sinnoh: The looks of the legends looks good and even if the theme is not that epic, it sounds like fighting a superior Pokemon, also Giratina's theme actually sounds awsome, it really fits with the place you encounter him, Giratina's theme sounds cool because it sounds like battling the king of the shadows and darkness.
4.-Johto: For me Ho-Oh is not that cool for me, just a legendary bird, Lugia looks good in my opinion and I like that they have different themes, as well as the legendary beast, I don't like Ho-Oh's theme that much but at least Lugia's theme really fits with him, being the king of seas (correct me if I'm wrong with something here).
5.-Hoenn: Sorry Hoenn lovers but remember that this is just my opinion, and I don't say that my opinion is more important than yours, so no hate okay?
Well, I kinda like Kyogre's look, but I'm not really a fan of Hoenn legendaries, still the theme is epic because it sounds like facing a god or a titan wich makes the battle epic.
6.-Kanto: Sorry genwunners, but as I said before, it's just my opinion, in fact, every gen is special and creative in some way, so no hate please?
Well there's just Mewtwo wich just have a remix of a wild pokemon, and still sounds awsome in X and Y, the same theme as the legendary birds, but the only cool-looking Pokemons in Kanto ar just Mewtwo, and Mew, wich is nearly imposible to get in X and Y, still cool theme.
That's just my opinion, but let me say that I'm not a fag that goes saying something like ''RECHIRAN AND SECROM'S DESING SUX!1!!!1 IS TE WORT I'BE EBER SEEN!!1!!!!11!!1!'' I don't hate any Pokemon because I'm a true Pokemon fan, and I actually like any dessing of every Pokemon because is unice, even if it's ugly, as I said before, every gen is special and must be loved, so please don't hate new gens just because they are not like previous gens, new gens are different because if they were like previous gens then it would be like playing the same game over and over again, so please don't go saying a gen is bad like if you could do something better.

@KyuremuX There are some differences around 3:20. In Zekrom's there is a sound of electricity in the background. In Reshiram's there is a fire like sound in the background

I've gotten so used to the first couple of seconds of this fucking theme the past few days trying to soft reset for Zek/Kyu/Reshi that I basically hum it in my sleep.

Kyruem's alternate form will probably have one, but its normal form just has a wierd tail

Reshiram - A wolf with wings and an ice cream cone for a tail that shoots fire.
Zekrom - A goddamn dinossaur with wings, hands and a PLANE engine for a tail that shoots lightning.
I think Zekrom owns reshiram in epicness and awesomeness.
You have now noticed notes from the Evolution theme in the intro of this soundtrack. ;)
@breadbugrulz With Kyreumu, there is no added effect in the middle, the whole sog is played in a different and more epic beat, added beats are added, making it sound ALOT DIFFERENT from Reshirams and Zekroms

Those are the types that the variations of flamethrower introduced before gen v (so that excludes slime wave) :ice beam, thunderbolt, flamethrower

@EmpoleMew I have also noticed a slight change in tempo. Zekrom's tempo is slightly faster the Reshiram.
@masteroliver21 Gen 1/3's ghost tower (or whatever it was called)'s boss at the top of the tower. It could not be hit without revealing it with the Silph Scope. Even when revealed with the Silph Scope, it will continue to dodge all Poke Balls, including Master Balls. There is a very unusual thing about it dodging all balls as it will dodge balls even when asleep, paralyzed, burnt, poisoned, and frozen.

@MarcoDiCesar kyurem is the corpse of the original dragon that reshiram and zekrom were before they split so he is basically a frozen dragon zombie that will make pokemon grey possible
in zekrom theme there's a lightning bolt sounding in the bkg while in reshiram there are flames in the bkg before the long notes plays

1:18 is about where the difference is between the two themes, you can go to this time on both themes from this guy and youll see that they make different sounds during the break there.

@AjiraCtelin1993 The difference is at 1:17. There's an electrical sound whereas Reshiram has a firey jet sound. Kyurem has the same song, but instead there are extra notes in the beginning.
@krakelak You could think of it this way. With Reshiram, you fly a rocket.
With Zekrom, you fly what is effectively a UFO.

I used a synchronizing site to combine this with the other themes. Kyurem was slightly off-time (desync @ about 5sec) so I scrapped that lol. Then Reshiram's theme went slightly off too, but it doesn't desync until much later (@ about 26.5sec)
Either way, I was able to hear the electric sounds and the flames simultaneously...it was amazing.
Could you upload it? Also could you upload the only the bass from Kyurem's theme if possible as well?

yeah in reshiram you hear flames zekrom is sparks! I heard that. I didnt realize the difference till i heard that part.
@hamdan7860 Kyurem is supposed to be the "corpse" of the original dragon that Reshiram and Zekrom were originally. That is why he is ice type
@MrSuperHeatran Dude, all the events get localized eventually, if you actually payed attention with Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heartgold, and Soulsilver.
God this is a great piece. One of my more favourite legendary pokemon themes, right next to Rayquaza/Kyogre/Groudon and Deoxys

Reshiram/Zekrom are practically the same, except for the fire crackling/electricity sizzling parts, but Kyurem has an extra slap bass layer.
@LegendKiller0713 I agree, Zekrom is a big black dragon with a motor for a tail, and Arceus is a over-sizzed donkey. >.>

it's stated in the english version that zekrom and reshiram used to be one dragon pokemon until they were split apart somehow. and it's also hinted that kyurem comes from space.

@elijahhandley I was always afraid people would make fun of Reshiram the moment I saw it. I actually wanted Reshiram, but then they switched up the legendaries...I stuck with White still because I wanted White Forest and Braviary. I still didn't really like Zekrom, but then I learned what Zekrom wanted for the world, and I started to warm up to it. Thus ending up with me naming it Marisa.

@TheWierdo67 I like both. Dialga is a defensive powerhouse with a super-powerful attack. Palkia is an offensive powerhouse with a greater variety of usable moves.
