I like this theme. Reshiram and Zekrom are awesome. They are NOT trying to defeat you, but to test you if you're worthy of them. That's an amazing concept.

I thought the Black and White version legendaries were mixed up, until I found out the version colors are based off of the tiny circles (There is a white circle in black, which is Zekrom and White, and a black circle in white, which is Reshiram and Black) in the Ying and Yang symbol.
+Star Warrior Kirby Also one of the lines in the Pokemon theme song "Black and White" says "It's not always black and white!". The Ying Yang symbol means that things in life aren't completely black or white. Amazing.
I would say that the black circle in white would be Zekrom in Pokemon White, because the entire game is white and the legendary is black. Same vice versa. But same idea.

I believe that was done to save space, since there were already a lot of battle themes in the game, and they probably chose Zekrom's version because that is the one featured on the Black and White Soundtrack album.
I also get the impression that because Reshiram/Zekrom recognises the player as its hero, it wants to be caught, and is just testing you in a short battle before allowing itself to be caught.
As someone pointed out already it has a very high catch rate (higher than even Mantyke and Chatot). The obvious reason for this being that catching them is mandatory to the story.
I've gotta say, I like this theme better than Zekrom's. The electricity in his theme is cool and all, but it just seems to clash with the music itself. The flames are much more subtle and manage to blend in this version.

@KyuremuX During the solo (starts at 1:16) some soft, background fire sound-effects are occasionally timed in with the beat. It only sounds three times during this section. In Zekrom's theme, there are what sounds like electricity sound effects instead of flames. Listen to this song from 1:16 to 1:25, and then listen to Zekrom's version from 1:16 to 1:25 as well. You should be able to hear the difference.

You are correct on the two's battle themes being different, completely. Both games have two files within them, one for Reshiram and one for Zekrom but only one is ever used in a single copy of the game. The 2SF files from B/W have them separate in there if anyone feels like listening to it even easier than off the OST. Both of the songs are remixes of 1st Gen's Route 11, though, and I saw a Japanese site list it as a remix of 4th Gen's Rival Battle but I don't really hear it.

@Kikiyume In order for the game to progress, you HAVE to capture Reshiram/Zekrom to become its friend and prove to N you, too, are chosen by them for being pure. Without your respective Pokémon, you can't battle N (unless your party and all your boxes are full). To make it more easy, their catch rates are much higher (3 is low, 255 is high) than other legendaries so you wouldn't struggle as much.
I think you're right about the extra bass. But it also kinda makes sense that Kyurem doesn't have an extra effect; he represents wuji, the absence of yin and yang, so it fits that his music should be absent of special effects. Well played once again, Nintendo.
Actuakky, yes that;s true, but notice how the colors are switched? Reshiram is representing the white dot on the black side, and liik at it's neck and graceful appearance, thus making it female. Zekrom, on the other hand, os more masculain shaped, also it represents the black dot on the white side. So the reason Reshiram is in black is because it is yin, Zekrom, yang. Kust look at a yin yang symbol and you'll notice the dots in the opposite sides, sorry for the long comment.

@celach Actully, until half, the OST music is Zekrom's theme and after half it is Reshiram's theme. If you listen closely enough, you will notice that difference. So yes, they are different.

Dialga and Palkia also have a catch rate ten times higher than normal, or a 47.1% chance of being caught in an Ultra Ball at 1 HP and asleep.

at 00:21 is Battle! Elite Four (R/S/E) at 00:36 is Road from Lavender to Vermillion at 2:14 is Fight Vs Gym leader and right after seems to be a remix of the b/w rival fights im pretty shure their are more tracks but those are the ones that I see right away

Simple, Zekrom's has an electrical sound font, Reshiram's has a flaming sound font, and Kyurem's has faster theme with more steel guitar.

@TheForgottenCherish aaaaaand if you search Reshiram on Bulbapedia, go to the trivia section at the bottom and it says Reshiram is supposed to look 'feminine' and Zekrom is supposed to look 'manly and tough'. that would explain the bra-like fur on its(idk if its a guy or a girl anymore, mabye a hermi..Xd) chest, the high heel feet, and the two girly ponytails.
I started the game 5 times and I have always caught Reshiram with a pokeball on the first try
@o0oRESHIRAMo0o listen to 1:18 of both of the songs this one has background noise that sounds like fire burning while zekroms has electricity crackling at that section. its easy to pick up if u have headphones or listen closely enough
at 00:21 is Battle! Elite Four (R/S/E)
at 00:36 is Road from Lavender to Vermillion
at 2:14 is Fight Vs Gym leader
and right after seems to be a remix of the b/w rival fights
im pretty shure their are more tracks but those are the ones that I see right away

@celach wrong they do have diff themes in the background of reshirams you can hear fire crackle in zekrom its thunder kyurems just has a bit more of a beat you gotta listen closer
@EmpoleMew I just listened to both Zekrom's and Reshiram's themes (uploaded by you, of course) you are correct. They are not the same. celach on the other hand, is obviously wrong.
@jjnnerazor A hidden Ability is abilities only available in the Dream World, which people in the U.S. can not access yet, as they do not have the server ready for us. However, about Mar. 30th, people with the U.S. and U.K. should be able to use Game Sync to access the Dream World.

This is so different to, say Dialga and Palkia's theme. Because Reshiram is basically ASKING for you to capture it. Like, for fun or something.

@EmpoleMew But Entei-Suicune-Raikou DID have different tracks for themselves. Zekrom and Reshiram don't.
@rayquezaEXD You got the roles switched around. Yin is black and the negative half; Yang is white and the positive half. Yin and Yang don't really represent good vs. evil either...
