Vocal coaches have said that Angelina, by this age at 10, was a full professional vocalist with no sign of a child's voice remaining. This is my favorite version of this song by anyone, male or female. She's that good!!!
Would you figure at least 100 wonderful artists recorded this song (probably many more). In my opinion no one has done it better than Angelina WHEN SHE WAS 10 YEARS OLD! Besides the powerful ending so many of her 'angels' love the moment when the cameraman starts circling around her and she looks at the camera and gives us a beautiful half smile. There is no question the audience was stunned by her performance. I'm sure a topic of conversation when the people in attendance were driving home was, "And, what about that little girl?! She was unbelievable!" When Angelina hit 10 yrs old she had arrived big time and the industry was well aware of who she was and what she could do. Although she outwardly was a 10 year old kid, when she sang there was no doubt people were listening to an accomplished artist at work. Yes, she was born with a gift but make no mistake, she has worked very hard at her trade and she has dedicated herself to sing to the masses and bring joy to them, and hope, and love and inspiration to be the best they can be as kind, caring and loving human beings more than they have ever before. What?!?! Yes, Angelina is very special. How special? Very, very, very, very special.

Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction. There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. (8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 3.19 in your reaction video. (9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!" (10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who,curseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. This is the song that, after listening to her since her beginnings, made me say that we are watching, from now on, the greatest female singer to ever live. Now, seven years later, I still say the same! By the way that is her band that she had been working with for 2 years already.

Tiny Little Girl Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.
I stood next to her (she 16 1/2 ) and had to look up to connect with her eyes and I’m 5’10’. She was wearing thin slippers. Height aside, she is an impressive and very humble young lady with a big heart. ❤❤❤. Her singing is a big part of her life but a small part of who she is. 😊
