i love how rory teases luke in this ep. and in doing so she all but says she knows how he feels about her mum. and by understanding why it was even a tease he kind of acknowledges it to her.
I'm so glad Rory and Paris were too sensible to go to that party. Can you imagine if all four girls had taken off and no one stayed behind to tell Lorelai where they took off to? Yikes 😅 Madeline and Louise must have some seriously diligent guardian angels watching over them if those are the kinds of decisions they've been making in their lives and they haven't been drugged or kidnapped or murdered yet 😅 geez!
"Feisty" is just one of many words to describe Paris 😂I didn't remember how early the Bangles episode was but this was when I really started to love her.

I really appreciate great side characters on TV shows. And Madeline and Louise are terrific side characters. They have Paris' social class background, but are more open-minded. They are carefree rich girls -- which means they can be a disaster, but they are at least fairly easy to get along with most of the time. Notice how they felt totally comfortable in Rory's house, and took a real interest in her relationship with Dean. They aren't COMPLETE snobs.
yes! I totally agree with that - I've seen moments from there where they seemed totally fine and it was Paris that was trying to be mean to Rory, so I do appreciate it isn't a bunch of girls picking on her. I also love how much Rory bites back with her comebacks and stands up for herself when needed but also stays kind at the same time! 🩶
It's always bugged me that lorelai gives the tickets away without consulting sookie first. Like I get she knew sookie would be cool with it in the name of helping rory mke friends at school, but I feel like it could have been so easy for the writers to have sookie present during the scene helping lorelai prep so they could at least exchange a look or something..
I was always of the opinion that they should have gotten nosebleed seats for the teenagers who (other than Rory) don’t really care about the concert (Paris liked it afterwards but she wasn’t all excited like Lorelei and Sookie were). It especially made me mad that Madeline and Louise left after hardly any of the concert had happened. Paris honestly should have dumped them as friends and all 4 of them could’ve sat together lol

But then she left it so probably not important. Lorelai saying that it's so lorelai is a hint. Luke has a type 😉

If someone leaves her clothes at your place for six years and doesn't ask for them back, it's probably okay to give them away.
