I enjoy hearing Phil speak, he's genuinely interested in gaming where he also openly talks about other platforms and games/products he plays; he doesn't just push Xbox or make forced sales pitches.

i think u would be shocked if u met him . phil online persona is a product of genius marketing. no one who is running a multi billion dollar copperation will have the time nessasry to be a gamer . sure they go to many events and all but even those events are just a way for these ceos to network and convince more people to buy their product / establish more copperation with some other multi bilion dollar company

Interesting where he mentioned about the time spend not knowing what to do in the beginning of starfield because it being overwhelming, that's how I felt playing fallout 4 for the first time.

I'm literally sitting in my semi truck parked at a Kwik Trip in Wisconsin remote desktop streaming to my console at home where my son is playing with me in two-player Ninja Turtles Shredder's revenge I can't tell you how much Xbox has changed my life over the last 20 years to this day other companies still cannot do what they can do

I love that you get to do that.. XBox play anywhere is one of the greatest things Phil has brought to Xbox and gives fathers like us the ability to play games with our kids while we are away working.. From my screen name you can tell I am gone for a year or more at a time and spend alot of that time away from civilization so playing coop Halo with my 12 year old son while I sit in a Humvee 50 miles away from my barracks in the middle of the woods is truly incredible

Sonys been leading the gaming community far longer and owns some of the best AAA titles out there.. The last of us, God of war, horizon zero dawn, spider man, days gone etc I mean the list is endless.
Where xbox keeps buying studios at the cost of billions 7.5 to be exact and they are still struggling to get a single player game that is a AAA quality title and changes the landscape of gaming.
But... I have a feeling things are about to change or atleast begin to give sony some concirns.
I own a Ps5, Xbox series X and Legion gaming pc so I'm very much aware of what's good and what's not. Sony for now really doesn't need to be concirned but they might be in a few years
@@srjwari ??? Buying studios is a negative thing? Microsoft is doing what Sony did when they started with PlayStation, or you think Sony got those studios magically? Sony is the clear king by far so buying studios is not a negative thing. Anyways I’m talking about all Phil Spencer has done for the PC community. Sony hasn’t done anything.
@@srjwari you do realize the reason SEGA isn't a console player anymore but now a publisher is because of sony? Sony almost put Nintendo out of business too in the mid 90's.

Dude is a straight up gamer. Shout out to the ROG Ally. Phenomenal device. Honestly I play most of my Xbox games on the Ally via streaming.
Phil has this presence, always enjoy his insights, I am in Europe and cannot imagine not owing an xbox anymore, even if ps5 is there too

Phil Spencer was the perfect pick for head of Xbox. On one hand he fits the mold of a corporate guy who goes into the office who is mindful of shareholders and profits.. on the other hand, he is actually the consumer himself. He’s a gamer, he’s a nerd/geek, he responds to messages on social media.. so he understands the customer.
If Xbox wants to grow outside of the USA being there is key and that matters because it means more games for us

Hey Phil. If you didn't purchase Bethesda and starfield I would have upgraded from ps4 to ps5. Starfield made me upgrade from ps4 to xbox series. I'm not the only one.
I did exactly that, I didn’t know that Starfeild was going to be exclusive but I saw xbox allowing external assets for mods sold it for me.

A new IP made Xbox, so yes, the launch of Starfield is more important than we know. I still remember the day I walked in EB games with a pocket full of money to get a PS2 only to get laughed at by the clerk for not preordering a console. I was a PC gamer by that time and knew about Halo and the way PC games can look. Lucky for me there was a Xbox kiosk running Halo. I just couldn't believe what I was seeing was running on a console.The rest is history. Do you remember Xbox tunnel? What about Xband (snes)?

Also not xbox related but Spiderman 2 should have been coop smh Spiderman and miles playing with a friend would have been amazing. Man im really sick of single player only games lol.

Is gamescom going to replace E3? I like E3 i wood like to see it continue. And if it does everyone needs to show up. If it wasn't for E3 we would not have everything that we have now for that reason alone it needs to continue!!!

Phils' dog is called Oogie and mine is called Oggie! His is a rescue dog and mine has epilepsy. I know who I am and I like who I am, ergo I reckon Phil is a nice bloke too. The more I see him in interview, the more I believe he is doing all this because he loves video games. I'm starting to feel the urgency behind the Starfield hype now too. Ask for how Xcloud wait time hadle when Starfield relese. Microsoft must spend lots of times and money to get extreme low wait time in all countrys and not blurry stream.
Xbox wants to scrap Xcloud and partner with Nvidia as GFN is absolutely amazing compared to Xcloud... Oh wait they are 😉
@@caseball-uk386I hope they do that ngl. Xcloud is garbage, and I haven’t used GFN yet but so heard it’s really good. But I don’t want to pay for GFN on PC. I tried Stadia and it was amazing, and I always wished that Google (or someone good at cloud gaming) sells their services to MS and maybe Sony
I would like the Forza team to work on a simulation boating game with boat races. Boat racing is fast and highly customizable and would be different than any game out right now.
I wish they release a xbox series x that without bluray drive and lower storage instead of series s with higher storage. So that there expansion card would sell more
I wish they release a series s with blu ray drive because I don't plan to play on a 4K screen but still want to use the physical games I bought 😂
I have a Halo infinit console and I'm afraid to hook it up cuz if I have a problem with it what am I to do? I paid over a grand for it and I'll be damned if I get screwed out of that kind of money.
