I'm waiting to hear about a potential job too! I had an interview back in March for a Data Research Assistant at the Better Business Bureau and I figured that I didn't get it when I didn't hear back. But then I got a call a few days ago asking if I was still interested. I think whoever they did hire didn't work out and I was their second choice. I have to call into HR on Monday for a background check and then I think they're going to call me in for another interview after that.
I'm anxious AF, not just like because I'm waiting, but I'm also anxious that I'm gonna get it. I've worked freelance for so long, I know that it's going to be an adjustment to get back into traditional work, have a schedule, and work that daily grind. Plus, I know it's gonna be hella hard on my anxiety and agoraphobia. It's a really good job and an ethical company, so I am excited about that, but I'm also anxious af and I don't quite know what to do with all of this anxious energy. It's got me off my reading game. 😐

I suffer from Anxiety, Also. Mine has gotten worse since losing My Mom. My Grief combined with the anxiety sometimes has me just wanting to stay in bed some days, and maybe read. I love books, always have, and reading to me, when I’m anxious takes me to another world. My Mom was my life, so I’ve had debilitating Anxiety and I feel sick too when I’m anxious, along with rapid heartbeat.
I just wanted to share that with you. I’m sorry you haven’t gotten the call yet, but maybe you will. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
I love your bookshelves and how you have them now. I’ve been wanting to get Daisy Jones And The Six. I read a sample about a month ago, and I love it. I think readbyzoe did a live show on it, and she loved it too. She and others I’ve heard have said it’s so good, you’ll want to reread it. She also said the audiobook was good too.
I definitely want the Daisy Book! I’m trying to keep away from Barnes and Noble here, lol, when I go in there, I stay for hours it seems like. Also, their prices even on paperbacks is getting more expensive. Have you seen that? Maybe it’s just me. I still love going in there. I also go to a used book store here, and I like thriftbooks. I don’t have a channel, but I am a huge fan Girl per se of Books. I’ve had days a lot of them, where I don’t feel like putting makeup on.

Eleanor Oliphant is gonna be wayyyy different than you expect, the synopsis on the back is very surface level and only covers about the first 50 pages about the book. It' still really good, just way different than the synopsis makes it out to seem!

I’ve been binge reading Fence like a mad woman. Also, thanks for reminding me that Snotgirl Volume 2 came out. I requested it from my library right away. Moreover, I get extremely nervous whenever there is a thunderstorm. I can’t imagine having to deal with tornadoes. That’s like my ultimate fear of a thunderstorm.

On a Sunbeam is totally worth it, I promise!!!! Tillie Walden's other book, Spinning, is actually my *favorite book* and on a sunbeam is just as great! I don't remember the font or the writing being a problem for me, but everyone has different tastes. Either way, I 100% recommend it.
