Places We Go - Powers and the People

A longing for lives lived and our first collaborative effort in songwriting, Places We Go is a rumination on how we each ended up in Nashville. Lyrically, our lead vocalist guided the music through her own reflections, with its arrangement process allowing us all a vulnerable dive into the locales that we each have called home. Steadily adding more voices throughout, the song culminates in a 5-piece harmony that captures the melancholic feeling of moving on from places and times you once loved.
