IFR4NPO Practitioner Advisory Group meeting (2 May 2024)

This video is a recording of the IFR4NPO Practitioner Advisory Group meeting which held on 2 May 2024. The meeting focused on defining NPOs and narrative reporting.
Below are points discussed:
1. How to define the boundary between social good and private gain. Should INPAG* be applicable to NPOs that don't exist for social good (and who defines social good?) - eg private schools, political parties, association of pharmaceutical scientists, fundamentalist religious organisations…..
2. Whether INPAG should expressly prohibit government (or local government / parastatals) from using the guidance?
3. How to avoid NPOs from 'greenwashing' in their narrative reporting without putting in a whole load of onerous sustainability reporting requirements.
4. How to responsibly signal if ‘sensitive information’ has been omitted from the narrative report
