Harvey Korman did fantastic playing Edward G Robinson! I miss these adorable skits, I wish they still made ones like this. Poor Carol, it must be hard having lost almost everyone on the show
The dress she wore at the audience was gorgeous.

Me Tv don't show all of Carol Burnette I am glad they do for you tube. Only half hour now I am glad that I can watch it for an hour now. Never watched it back in the 70's now I have a chance to watch lot of the hour shows.
PEOPLE FORGET WHAT A FINE VOICE MIKE DOUGLAS HAD....HE DIDN'T SING ENOUGH ON HIS TALK SHOW...THOSE WERE THE DAYS OF FINE TV.....

I'm confused about Mike Douglas and Michael Douglas. Is this Mike Douglas family of Michael Douglas or no relation at all. Michael Douglas is married to Catherine Zeta Jones I believe.

@@francesheinig6420 Mike Douglas and Michael Douglas are of no relation. Michael Douglas is an actor, son of Kirk Douglas. Mike Douglas started his career as a singer in the late 40's and then hosted a popular talk show in he 60's and 70's.

I really wish if there was such a thing as Carol Burnett Show museum in which we’d get to see so many things such as outfits, pictures, important autographed photos, decorative memorials of decorative dancers or look-alike wax dolls in different poses, posters, studio set-ups of homes like the old folks’ and As The Stomach Turns and the rest of them.. and get to see things that’d been signed and magazines that viewed them or newspaper cutouts…etc…. It would be Marvelous!!! And if we could meet with any living characters like Carol herself and Bernadette Peters just to name a few it would be … Super! Honest! I truly am wishing for such a thing. Collect giveaways and collectibles!! 😌🥰😍 AWESOME!!! who’s with me? ✋🏻

I like it when Harvey Korman and Tim Conway got together they wore the funniest when they got together they made each other laugh. I cracked up when those two got together when I watched you tube.

I always like the sketches with just Carol and Harvey, or just Carol and Steve Lawrence. Those were often some of the best.
This was the best episode i ever saw with soft pop hits of 69 -70.

I couldn't stop laughing at the Greek mail order bride skit. It would have also been great if Carol had done it as Mae West. She already affected her voice. She might as well have done it all. And the Harvey Korman part could have been even homelier. But as it was played it was still first rate. One of my favorites! Well done.
Love this show so much. I remember watching this when I was a kid. I still love it especially Harvey Korman and Tim Conway. They were the absolute best!

Forgot how well Mike Douglas could sing.
He's great and the song fits his voice, but we really did not need ocean scenes with a young couple. Mike does not need any visual aides to sell a song like this. He was doing this kind of thing since 1945 with Kay Kyser and his band, and in countless night club engagements,

Bernadette was so talented. What a great singer and dancer and Broadway star she was. I had the good fortune to see her perform in Sunday In The Park and Gypsy on Broadway. She was spectacular. Every bit as good as Streisand.

This show always did two tapings, from which they kept the best (i.e., most perfect) version (#1 or #2) from each sketch or musical number for airing. But many years later, Carol decided to air some of the bloopers during one of her retrospectives; and one of those shows included a portion the alternate "take" of "The Most Happy Stella"--the part that originally made it unacceptable for airing because of one minor "glitch": at the end of the skit, after Carol is shot and dying and Harvey is delivering his lines, Carol and Lyle must have smacked faces just a bit too hard during their final "magnetic" kiss (43:21), because after Carol hits the floor and is "dead", she starts chuckling--and the chuckles just grow and grow. Harvey ad libs a bit, mocking Carol's inability to control herself, after which he begins shoveling A LOT of hay over most of Carol's body, including her entire head. It was absolutely hysterical.

That sounds like an issue I used to have on my phone. It did that after advertising, sometimes. If I put my phone to sleep for a minute, it would be fine when I came back. Hasn't happened lately...
