To answer it here, you must include the following while answering this question: - the field you're inclined towards (marketing/HR/consulting), it's okay if you're not sure about it already, in that case, skip this point. - the growth aspect, certainly MBA provides a fast-track growth and the career opportunities switch from routine tasks to more challenging projects - MBA and life after that is about decision making, problem solving, prioritization, so you can mention these skills as possessions and claim to fit a match - the reason why you're not deferring your admission or getting more work-ex or staying in your existing role: your reasons of not choosing other options must be clear

Hi Sukiran, thanks a lot for the kind words! From the interactions I've had with my batch mates with work-ex, what I've seen is that their profile is mostly evaluated by their work-experience and what skills they gained on the job, how well they're aware about the happenings in their industry, so on and so forth. Everything in their interviews majorly circles around that. So, I'd suggest exploring that angle further on how your experience within Amazon can help you add value to the batch.
Hi ma'am a tip for you if you want to gain subscribers try to create more videos at campus IIM -A ,a day in a students life or environment in campus or a funny sketch at campus, you will get atleast 100 k views and 5-10 k subscribers and then they will see all your previous educational videos and learn, it will work 100% ( just a suggestion 😊🙏)

Hi Rohan, in my opinion the preparation remains more or less similar with just a change in the material you use to clear your concepts and attempt questions. But, point taken, will make one soon. Meanwhile, you can go through the CAT playlist on the channel and watch 4 videos: CAT 2021 8 stages, DILR strategy, QA strategy and VARC strategy. Those should help.

You can surely talk about why you started searching about it all of a sudden and what you have learned so far but take a note of two things: 1. You will be asked follow-up questions and hence, either learn a lot about the country or pick the aspects that you searched the most about. 2. Whichever aspects you pick, search more on the same lines about India and other neighbouring countries too. So that the common element becomes that aspect and not NK.
I have been consuming your content a lot. I have a question regarding your work profile. There is no doubt that communication is pivotal for marketing and sales. Supposing that you are allotted to overlook sales of a district somewhere in South India, let's say Tamil Nadu, how will you be able to communicate with vendors and kirana stores (i presume you don't know Tamil). Being a SOL student is not a disadvantage at all. It creates no difference if you were studying on a campus or were an open university student. But, remember that work experience in the IIM interview forms doesn't count experience during graduation, only afterwards. Though you can surely mention about it during your interview. Verbally put across all your achievements and share the value you can add.

Hey i'm also from jammu. I think questions that can be framed on Jammu city particularly are few but they can ask about J&K as a whole So things like Kashmir issue , 370 Abrogration , 4g ban can be asked. For Jammu specifically question could be around imp. historical sites in jammu or famous cuisine etc.
Jaideep answered your question very well. I collated all the responses I could find, what you can do is go through them and think of the kind of questions that get asked and then create some for Jammu on your own.

Hi Vishal, doing or not doing a post-grad should be an interest-based choice. If you wish to explore your core field further, then go ahead for it. It doesn't give any added advantage beyond the additional skill-set/knowledge you bring to the table, given you do well during the post-grad.
I'm not really aware about the ROI of different institutes. Maybe you can browse the web for that information. Or some coaching institutes might have that kind of a content.

I have secured a 99.89 percentile.I pursuing Eng hons currently. IIM A is my dream college. But the biggest challenge i have is that there is a gap year between my 12th and college. In this gap year I had joined a BBA college, I didnt like the culture there and had also developed interest in story telling thus decided to drop and joined Ramjas in ENg hons the following year. Do you think this confusing story will do me any good?

From the interactions I've had with my batch mates with work-ex, what I've seen is that their profile is mostly evaluated by their work-experience and what skills they gained on the job, how well they're aware about the happenings in their industry, so on and so forth. Everything in their interviews majorly circles around that. So, I'd suggest exploring that angle further on how your experience within Amazon can help you add value to the batch.

Hi ma'am a tip for you if you want to gain subscribers try to create more videos at campus IIM -A ,a day in a students life or environment in campus or a funny sketch at campus, you will get atleast 100 k views and 5-10 k subscribers and then they will see all your previous educational videos and learn, it will work 100% ( just a suggestion 😊🙏)

Hi Rohan, in my opinion the preparation remains more or less similar with just a change in the material you use to clear your concepts and attempt questions. But, point taken, will make one soon. Meanwhile, you can go through the CAT playlist on the channel and watch 4 videos: CAT 2021 8 stages, DILR strategy, QA strategy and VARC strategy. Those should help.

During the lockdown, I became so much interested in knowing about North Korea because this is a mysterious country. So I've watched alot of documentaries and TH-cam videos about it. So I have got a good amount of knowledge about that mysterious country. Will this in anyway help during the interviews. Like can I mention about this in my interview?? Please reply di.
You can surely talk about why you started searching about it all of a sudden and what you have learned so far but take a note of two things:
1. You will be asked follow-up questions and hence, either learn a lot about the country or pick the aspects that you searched the most about.
2. Whichever aspects you pick, search more on the same lines about India and other neighbouring countries too. So that the common element becomes that aspect and not NK.
I have been consuming your content a lot. I have a question regarding your work profile. There is no doubt that communication is pivotal for marketing and sales. Supposing that you are allotted to overlook sales of a district somewhere in South India, let's say Tamil Nadu, how will you be able to communicate with vendors and kirana stores (i presume you don't know Tamil). Basically, I want to know if you can select your state of interest post your training?

I am currently pursuing bcom from sol (du) along with that I have worked full time with SpiceJet Ltd as an executive for 20 months my question is how will I show this kind of work experience becoz I had been into very good experience for corporate world with this also I have been employee of month or being a sol student will affect all my chances in selection plss reply for both questions it's really important for me
Being a SOL student is not a disadvantage at all. It creates no difference if you were studying on a campus or were an open university student. But, remember that work experience in the IIM interview forms doesn't count experience during graduation, only afterwards. Though you can surely mention about it during your interview. Verbally put across all your achievements and share the value you can add.

Hey i'm also from jammu. I think questions that can be framed on Jammu city particularly are few but they can ask about J&K as a whole
So things like Kashmir issue , 370 Abrogration , 4g ban can be asked. For Jammu specifically question could be around imp. historical sites in jammu or famous cuisine etc.
Jaideep answered your question very well. I collated all the responses I could find, what you can do is go through them and think of the kind of questions that get asked and then create some for Jammu on your own.

That can be questioned but is no hindrance in getting selected. One of my batch mates shifted from Science to Arts to Management as well.

Hi Vishal, doing or not doing a post-grad should be an interest-based choice. If you wish to explore your core field further, then go ahead for it. It doesn't give any added advantage beyond the additional skill-set/knowledge you bring to the table, given you do well during the post-grad.
